I have a 1999 gulf stream on a f-53 chassis and the problem is when driving in wet weather the air intake takes in water causing the vehicle into a great deal of loss of power causing a very serious road hazzard . I have read on the rv forums of add on part to help solve this problem but the price quoted on the forum0f $15.39 is not the price i found for the part on the ford site for the part . I don,t mind paying for the part but i feel $49.53 plus shipping rather high to fix a problem that is from faulty engineering on their part and which could cause an accident thank you in an any assistance you could can give me
