The brake compressor failed to function when engaged going down an incline. The vehicle accelerated instead of slowing down/stopping. When this occurred, repeated depression of the brake pedal was applied.the failure was due to a computer glitch because of a programming problem.a diagnostic test was performed but since no fault code was found no repair has been done. This is on a chevrolet cut away chassis.no engine braking .vehicle actually accelerates going down hill, dangerous condition.please note that subsequent modes produced had an auxillary trans brake installed from gm.
