The refrigerator in my rv quit working entirely. It has only worked intermittently for several months and since purchase of vehicle last december, 2013. In july, 2014, the burner jet was cleaned. Problem of unreliability and intermittently working continued. Refrigerator stopped working completely october 28, 2014. Inspection of rear of refrigerator found strong smell of an ammonia leak, and yellow residue and staining on floor of unit.i recently contacted dometic recall center and sent three pictures of the back of my refrigerator to them.i was told their records show a recall kit was installed on my refrigerator in 2008.
The contact owns a 2002 gulf stream conquest.the contact received a recall notice for the vehicle speed control: cruise control switch in october of 2007.when she called ford in november, they stated that it would be late (4th quarter) december before they could service the vehicle.she called back in december and ford stated that they did not know when the part would be available.their guess was sometime around january of 2008.the contact has had the cruise control switch disconnected.there had been no failure to date.the engine size and recall number were unknown.the current mileage was 26,000.
