Crack in dash beside passenger side air bag.crack seemed to appear overnight with no trauma to the dash at all.vehicle has been garage kept.i am very concerned that in the event that the airbag deploys, shrapnel from the cracked dash will be thrown into my passengers' faces causing serious injury.

Crack dashboardaround airbags

Dash seriously cracked and loose at top of instrument cluster cowl so that it causes a rattling noise.could effect safe deployment of air bag.

2009 gmc yukon xl, 61000 miles.dash around the airbag and all over the instrument cluster has cracked in multiple places.this vehicle has not been in any accidents and has never been driven off road.it has always been garaged.this is a very common problem with chevy/gmc trucks.if the airbag deploys there is a very good chance that pieces of the dash will pose a significant hazard to the vehicle occupants.

Takata recall. Recall notice was received over a year ago but no remedy is available yet.

Takata recall is my only complaint.to date, gm has not remedied this problemgm says my vehicle is safe to drive but i guarantee the ceo of gm is not riding around in a vehicle that could cause serious bodily injury or death.

Takata recall.no replacement has occurred and it has been over 2 years.

My 2009 gmc yukon xl has had multiple issues with the "reduced power" message.not only is this affecting the driveability of our vehicle but also the safety of my family since this is our family car and my wife usually is driving it with out four children in it.it all started in august when the reduced power message came on for my wife with service stabilitrac and traction control, while she was driving our kids to school.the dealer said it was "rodent damage" to the throttle body wiring and replaced the connector.about a month later the same exact thing happened when she was going home from the kids school.the code that was scanned was p0335 crankshaft position sensor failure.the crankshaft position sensor was unplugged and reseated and the lights went away.on 10/6the lights and reduced power message came back on, too the vehicle to the dealership and they could not find any issues "no defect found" tac case # [xxx].this has been an ongoing issue and with the chance of my wife and kids being stranded in the middle of no where or broke down on the side of the road is not something that i want from a car that is still under warranty!not only is this car dangerous but also a headache!i called gm customer service and the regional representative told me that if the car is not doing anything right now then there is nothing they can do for me.i know that other people have this problem as well, i just want everyone to know and hopefully someone can get this fixed!parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).
