Truck is warming up very easy and the alarm is turning on after drive couple miles.
The contact owns a 2006 general motor company w4500. The contact was driving when the vehicle stalled, and the contact noticed there was diesel fuel leaking. The vehicle was towed to a private mechanic and who confirmed that the fuel pump failed. The manufacturer was contacted and confirmed the vin did not qualify for nhtsa recall campaign id number :08v251000(fuel system, diesel). The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 155,000.
Hello i have had several recurring issues with my fuel pump system. I have had one actual fuel line break in half and pour diesel out while i was driving down the road. Also the fuel pump on the vehicle has come a loose from the engine twice breaking the four lug nuts that hold the fuel pump to the engine, which also caused fuel to leak.
