Upon impact, during frontal crash at approx. 35mph, 12:00 on front bumper, airbag failed to deploy.

Consumer was involved in a 40 mph frontal collision in which the driver'sair bag did not deploy.please give any further details.

Consumer was traveling about 25mph from wet concrete to dry asphalt. An animal ran out in front of vehicle.brakes were hit suddenly, vehicle jerked andbrakes failed. Consumer veered around & hit a tree & mail box. Also,airbags didn't deploy.dealer said problem did not meet the criteria ofrecall 99i00600/ manufacturer's recall g99046.they will send a investigator out 8-11-2000 or 08-12-2000.

Abs problems; driving on normal road conditions during normal braking when applying the brakes there is extended stopping distance. The pedal is very soft and goes close to the floorboard. This condition has caused driver to have 2 accidents. This problem has been reported to dealer 24 times in a one year period. The rear brakes were replaced on 9/10/97. Owner still experiencing a brake problem.in addition, non deployment of driver's/passenger's air bags during both collisions resulted in injuries.

Good year wrangler tire blewand hit the electrical harness, harness is located behind a thin plastic mud guard on driver's side.

The vehicle has been taken in the the dealer5s shop on three occassions because of serpentine belt failure.the compressor went out on our vacation last may and we were stuck in alabama for three days with hotels and reapir costs.in feb, 2001 we took the vehicle back into dealer because of a roaring noise.we read on the internet that it was dangerous and was probably the powertrain.it was.cost $2200.00 dollars but after complaining about the low milage on the vehicle they split 50/50.there has been several....complaints via internet that others have had this same problem..i think gmc should be held liable for faulty part and manuf. I feel this vehicle is unsafe .

Windshield was leaking around seal. Vehicle taken to dealer 6 times and unable to remedy problem. Consumer stated that right front cargo door w/strip was out of place and it has whistling noise, dealer aligned and repositioned front cargo door w/strip and aligned front side door. The rear cargo door was torn causing, water to leak dealer replaced right back door w/strip and also replaced left back door w/strip. Also, consumer stated that it was loud a squeal /noise at engine area while starting and acceleration, dealer replaced belt. *yd

The spring inside the locks do not function properly,has disconnected,resulting in locks interimttently not functioning.

Reoccurringtransmission failure, causing vehicle to lose power. 1st. Failure and repairs were done by dealer in november ,1998 at 32,000 mile.s.currently, at 47,000 milesproblem has reoccurred, and dealer refused to correct it unless consumer would pay $1,000 for cost/labor.

Vehicle at dealer's to check for roaring noise. Mechanic noticed axle noton a hard surface. Had pitted where bearings located by wheel. This caused the axle to become weak & make noise.

Company vehicle. Braking system did not allow enough time to stop in a short distance. Vehicle lost control and had a collision. Dealer/manfacturer contacted, and areaware of the problem. Provide further information.

Poor abs brake performance,when the brakes are applied on a panic stop situation they will begin to stop then release, causing an accident. Vehicle was taken to dealership and it was discovered that low brake fluid was in the reservoir.

Anti lock brake failure resulting in a vehicle collision.

While driving at 50 mph, started to brake, one set of the wheels was on grass and the other set was on the pavement,brakes didn't brake at all.consumer had to get both wheels back on the pavement in order to stop.

I was traveling about 50 mph on a paved road and needed to stop fast. I hit the brakes and began stopping fine. Then as i began steering the car off the pavement and the two right wheels came onto the grass roadside, the brakes totally released. They did not take hold again until the right wheels were back on the pavement.

Antilock brakes failed, causing accident.

Vehicle's front brake rotors are warping every 15-20,000 miles due to overheating. Manufacturer saidit is normal.

While driving down the street steering wheel broke in half.if steering hadbroken toward the column there could have been an accident, but it broke toward the driver.

Normal driving. Tie-rod broke. Vehicle jumped two lanes-lost control of vehicle. No other autos on section of highway at that time.

General amer teck st tires (p225 75 r15) experienced tread and steel belt separation, the separation resulted in damage to the vehicle, consumer requests reimbursement.

Overhead hand rail above the driver's door was pulled down by a 49 pound child.owner believes that the rail should withstand the weight of an adult.

Side window shattered causing glass fragmentsinside the vehicle

Vehicle experienced a problem with the windshield wiper motor.windshield wipers work intermittently, causing poor vision out of the windshield when raining.gcm acknowledes that it has the same problem with its trucks. Enclosed recall noticed the reason they won't repair or acknowledge the problem twith their vans is because it's to difficult and timely to fix it.

Left rear wheel came off, causing accident.
