Consumerwas in heavy traffic, and he said thattraffic in front of him came to a stand still. He was within two car lengths behindanother vehicle.consumerappliedbrakes and hitvehicle in front of him. Upon impact, airbags didn't go off.also had problem stopping withabs braking system.
2000 suburban's malfunctioning computer warning lights were replaced per recall. The check engine light illuminated and the vehicle was taken to the dealer.consumer was told that he computer need to be replaced. ***nar***the dealer informed the consumer that the necessary parts to perform the recall would not be available until november 2005.in november 2005 the vehicle was taken to the dealer and they claimed that they fixed the vehicle..after recall repairs the service engine light illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer in early february 2006 and the technician indicated that the computer had to be replaced.the consumer agreed to the repair but after the vehicle was picked up from being repaired the engine light illuminated again.
At 52073 miles consumers suburban stalled while driving. ***no answer required*** the fuel pump failed three times.the transmission was replaced, the tires had worn out and was separating, the engine light had come on due to the air injector and the rear parking brakes had worn out.*sc

While driving on state road 100 about 65-70 mph.the vehicle completely shut down.there was no warning.the vehicle was taken in for a check up, and was told that it was the fuel pump.the consumer had the fuel pump replaced.the consumer was concerned because their four children would occupy the vehicle as well.

Replaced transmission just over the 40,000 mile mark and now having more problems with car as car dies or stall when traveling between 1-10 mph
When brakes are applied vehicle pulls dramatically to the left into oncoming traffic.vehicle has been checked by dealer 14 times.vehicle will pull to the left or right after dealer serviced vehicle.
Consumerwas traveling about 25mph, going down a hill,appliedbrakes and pedal moved.but, therewas no reaction to the brakes.if brakesare not brought upand reapplied there is no braking.*ml
When depressingbrake pedal vehicle would go into extended stopping distance. Dealer has been contacted, andrepaired vehicle6 times.but, problem returned. Please provide further information.

Two doors hit together and dented side door.door opens too far.the door opening too far could result in hinge fatigue and failure.vehicle was taken to seven different service shops where consumer was informed that it was a design problem.consumer has tried numerous times since the purchase of vehicle to have the problem corrected.*jg
We purchased this suburban new.out of the dealer's lot the vehicle pulled right, and vibrated at a magnitude that interfered with normal steering at speeds between 55 and 70 mph.i have taken this vehicle back to the dealer five times, counting tomorrow.the first time i returned the car a representitive of mac haik told me "the pull (to the right) is a safety feature".i am in contact with other owners of 2000 suburbans who have worse problems involving the front end of the vehicle.some have been forced to change tires due to wear within 10,000 miles.tomorrpow i will, again, take this vehicle to mac haik chevrolet for repairs.i have also contacted thomas gottschalic, evp and general counsel ,general motors, with details on this problem.thanks for your help, byron dunn
While driving at any rate of speed vehicle pulls toright, cause unknown.please give any further details.

I had these 16 inch wilderness tires on my last suburban.a year ago i was on my way home from a trip when we had to change the tire.it was riding rough and uneven.after taking offthe tire, i could see that it was coming apart.we were fortunate it didn't blow out.now i have this same tire on my new vehicle.i wanted them replaced but the dealership says there is nothing wrong with them.i know for a fact that i had 16 inch wilderness tires on my last suburban and that one came apart.i do not have confidence in these tires and think the matter should be more closely investigated.( dot number: tire size: 16 inch )

Pe00 020; consumer was traveling about 60mph on highway and heard a poppying noise.she lost control ofvehicle, and she veered from lane to lane.a front left finder hitmeridan strip,and she sprung around the rear end.front lefttire blow out (big hole).tire was firestone, wilderness #at, p265/70r16, dot v672wl12500.
Consumer states rear window is tinted, can not see through it when backing up at night. Ts
It is imposible to roll downglass window when the motor of power window is not working. Had been at repairshop about four times, andmotor had been replaced about eight times on the different windows.
