Airbags deployed for no reason while i was in car just started up and blew out drivers side window and cracked front windshield.

I have bought abuick enclave 2012 the fix air bag sign is on all the time i went to fix it to the dealer but still it's not fixed.

2007 gmc acadia slt-1 passenger air bag light goes on and off while driving. And the display in the dash says passenger air bag needs servicing. I contacted gmc and they said they had no recalls listed for my vehicle based on my vin number but have found several websites that says there should be an open recall based on my vehicles year, make, and model.

I took my car in to an certified automotive center to receive a diagnostic check because the car had completely stopped on the bay bridge and i could not accelerate. Thank god i was completely over into the left hand lane because the steering wheel had completely locked. The automotive center could not find anything wrong but detected that the model and year had a recall on intergrated circuit chip damage that controlled the car. So they told me to go back to the dealership for that recall so when i went back to the dealer they stated that there was no recall. So i had to pay an additional fee to get my car checked by the dealer. Since i purchased this vehicle in july 2005 i have had several problems with transmission, sensors, fuel filter and had to put on rotors twice since i purchase my mileage is 69,000. I am asking for investigations on this car to see whether or not i was sold a lemon.

I bought a 2006 pontiac g6 with only 6,000 miles on it, after a few days of driving it, i noticed something was wrong with the power steering. It would go completly out and in my information center it would say power steering, then other times it would get very loose to where i would have to pull off the road and turn the car off and restart it. I took it to the dealership, where they kept it overnight, called me the next morning and said they found nothing wrong with it, mind you this happens on a daily basis. I told them to keep it longer. Pontiac called back and told me to come pick it up, that they could not get it to duplicate, therefor could find nothing wrong. A week later it goes out completly again, in heavy traffic with my daughter in the car with me, i almost wrecked my car. I immediatley pulled over and called the dealership back, i was told that if i didn't like there service to take it elsewhere, so i did.they had to replace the whole elctronic system in my vehicle. Now at 9,600 miles the problem has resurfaced again.

I purchased a used 2004 gmc envoy slt, with an extended warranty from grand prix auto group, hicksville, ny in august 2008. Soon after purchasing the car it stalled while we were at a red light. Immediately brought the truck back to the dealer and they said they fixed it, may i mention it never stopped stalling. Then the speedometer broke again. It constantly says i'm traveling 120 miles an hour. Once again, brought it back to the dealer, they tell me i need to go to a gmc dealer, i do, they replace the information cluster and speedometer, had to pay a $ 300.00 deductible. This was in march 2009. Driving the other day october 2009 and the speedometer once again says 120. Get pulled over, get a ticket for a broken speedometer. The officer was aware i was not traveling at that speed, and even when i tried to explain, wanted to hear none of it. So now here i am again, broken speedometer, engine that stalls often and a summons to boot. I need help and i don't know where else to turn the dealerships are of no help. Jacqueline king

About a week after buying the car, my break light comes on and my brakes started grinding and the car started to shake, i took the car in and had the brakes replaced and was also told i probably had an electrical problem but they couldn't find out from the diagnostics test.about two weeks later i had to go back with same problem. Now, as in today, 6 months later, the same thing is going on. Now i would like to have an explanation as to why i should be responsible for having to correct this problem again.

At some point, i triggered my alarm system by not using the remote key and manually unlocked my car door.right after, i tried to restart my car, at which time it cranked, but did not start.since this incident of triggering my alarm, i have been daily reminded of this.. With the crank, no start.i have taken the car to the dealer who informed me that i need a pcm (power control module) which they replaced but to no avail.two days later, the car was crank/no start again and again.

Purchased car new at end of 97 model year. Within first six months returned car six times due to defective sway bar bushings. Problem has never been corrected. Car clunks as it is either turned to the right or left or travels (slowly) over speed bumps. Also have experienced paint peeling from outside mirrors, radio volume control problems, radio/clock display works only part of the time, right front passenger seat mounting broke and slid passenger into dashboard, 2 door sport coupe-both power windows motors have broken and been replaced. The driver's side window just broke for the second time in two years. Passenger window has also started to act sluggish. Discovered leaky intake manifold gasket. Another expensive repair. Rain leaks into car around window gaskets which also make a hissing sound at speeds over 45 mph.car has been driven with care for nine years(odometer=80,000 miles) and has had oil changes, tire rotations, etc. Completed according to schedule. Owner cannot afford additional costly repairs especially since it seems to be going downhill from here. Disgusted with problems as well as with lack of service from several different pontiac dealers. Owner cannot afford to buy a [decent] new car and will have to purchase something used. Make no mistake-it won't be a gm product!

The wipers do not always work. There seems to be a short of some kind in the system. I can get them to work by manually moving them sometimes.also i'm having a problem with the brake lights working. I have replaced the tail light assembly twice. Again it seems to be a short in the system, they work on and off, its very dangerous.

I have a 2004 gmc sierra 1500. I am having several problems with the instrument panel, speedometer not reading properly, temp gauge wrong readings. The dealers want $750.00 to repair if the vehicle is over 75,000 miles. They have said they sent recall information for this problem, i have never received anything of the sort. For a vehicle i paid 32, 000 for i find this to be unsat. Gmc needs to fix this problem free of charge for there customers, i would expect this treatment from a ford dealer.

I own 2 envoy's 1 is a 03 and the other one is a 05 my 03 oil pressure and tach. Gauge messes up from time to time... My 05 oil pressure and speedometer doesn't work. I called gmc and they said to contact you... My air bag light stays on my 03, i'm guessing that means it won't work if needed.....

I have a 2004 chevy silverado.my speedometer started going bad after 50k miles (15k past warranty)the speedometer displays inacurrate speeds.driving on the intersate at 70mph, it reads anywhere from 0-15.sitting at red lights it sticks at 55 or 40.i have no idead how fast i am driving and i view this as a majot safety issue.if it were a rare thing i would consider this a bad apple, however, ther are many many thousands of owners who have the same problem.there is currently a lwasuit in washington state pursuing this issue and one in oregon which is to follow. (http://www.autoblog.com/2007/03/05/gm-sued-over-inaccurate-speedometers/) bascially, gm is in denial.if you look at mycarstats section on gm website, every single complaint in the misc section is about speedometers.how can this be allowed to continue?why has a recall not been issued.i wish someon would please explain to me how a company such as gm is allowed to get away with putting faulty safety equipment in vehicles.i could believe a quirck on an assembly line casuing this malfunction if it were 10-50 vehicles but were are talking in excess of 10,000 vehicles.

Speedometer malfunctions contacted the dealer and they tell me it is common in the model and year i have. Said it is an electrical malfunction and it was estimated at $600 to repair.the speedometer works sometimes and stops working other times and goes hay wire sometimes.manufacturer is aware of the defect according to the dealer.

The speedometer does not work properly it can say that i am going 90 when i am going only 35 also the heat gauge next to it will go way over into the speedometer area which then they hit each other which causes them to not work properly also the gas gauge does not work right either when i get low enough for the check gauge light to come on it will start going up saying that i have a half tank of gas even though i know that i do not.

Our 2001 chevrolet venture only has 78,000 mileson it and has been a problem from about the time we purchased it. In the past two months , february/march2007we have put $5000 into our van.we replaced the intake gasket for the second time. The first one was done by the dealer, very poor job. We had numerous electrical problems.the engine would turn off while drivingat any given time.this has been going on for a couple of years, on and off.we took it to the dealer while under warranty, and they couldn't find anything.we then took it again off warranty and they still couldn't find anything. As time passed, it begun to happen more often and become a problem. I became a nervous wreck while driving, hoping and praying it would make it to each destination. In february2007 it happened several times to and from work and this one was the last straw, it stalled on the freeway while driving 60 mph and blocked traffic. Itook it to my mechanic to get the job done.the dealer is completely useless.in addition to my problem, the light panels melted in the rear lights, the turn signal switch burned out, the fuse box was shorted out, the dealer installed anti-theft system was installed incorrectly and also shut our system down, had to have removed. Rear ac blower had to be replaced, now the ac system doesn't work at all, needs new condenser. Lights and instrument panel flickered due to alternator going out, had to have alternator replaced. We will never buy a chevrolet again... Unfortunately we have had a very bad experience with this vehicle and the dealer; coincidentally, could never figure out what was wrong while under warranty.

Horn stopped work. Went to take daughter to get license and it didn't work. Checked fuses and still did not work. I took to the deal and they said i had to get the horn module and air bag replaced. I haven't had the car three years yet.

Brand new truck, have owned almost 1 year.had to take truck in for slow acceleration problem as well as hard to crank. Could not pull out into traffic, had to wait until there was no one on the road because i would try to accelerate then it would stop/pause for a second then start to go again.took my truck to the dealership which they found one of the heads in the engine needed to be replaced.(which at first they told me i had a slow misfire on piston #2 and they had to replace a spring and a coil) a month later i finally got my truck back. One week later i heard a knocking noise so i took my truck back to dealership and was told my oil was low so they topped it off (didn't work by the way).still having hard time cranking periodically throughout the day.took it back to the dealership, they kept my truck for 4 days and said they could not find anything wrong with it except a loose starter bolt that they tightened.truck still cranking funny but was told there was nothing further they could do for me.

I clicked my 4-way flasher button while dropping my son off at the train station and when i came back it was difficult to press the button back down. After that, the operation of my emergency flashers was intermittent and eventually my rear brakes lights started working only intermittently as well.now the brake lights do not work and my gm dealer says it will cost more than $500 to replace the whole wiring harness.this is the second failure of this type on this same suburban.

I have a 2009 gmc seirra and it shuts off for no reason at all while you are driving.and i feel this is very dangerous.there are several complaints about this and there should be a recall on this.my vehicle has less than 50,000 thousand miles on it.and of course it started happening 2-months after the warranty was up.

Car heater would not warm up. Temperature would then fluxuate between hot and cold. Took the car to the dealership, the dealership diagnosed the problem as intake manifold gasket failure. Coolant mixed in with oil in the engine. Dealership service department required to keep car overnight to fix the problem. Needed a rental car and no loaner was available. Gm agreed to split the cost of the intake manifold gasket repair 50/50, but would not cover the cost of a rental car. Effect of this gasket failure at this time is unknown and effect to engine and components.car has 68,500 miles. Original owner off car has kept up with all scheduleed maintenance.

Major window failure, only one window works, and too expensive to fix. My car has 70,000 miles and i have had fuel pump failure, totalradiator failure, and two heat exchanger failures resulted in radiator fluid all over passenger side floor due too cheap crimps on heat exchanger which requires a hugh dash dismantle to fix, window failure, dash heat and a/c control failure. The car gets driven 11 miles a day to work and back and we have put $1000's into this piece of crap. Dealer and manufacturer could care less and want this website removed. No one is willing to do a thing. Will be switching brands asap to dodge or chrysler.

For the second time my 1999 chevy s-10 pickup has been taken to the transmission shop because i have lost second gear and reverse.this is a costly repair, the first time it cost me $1,600.00 to replace a $44.00 part because the whole transmission had to be overhauled.the transmission in the chevy is made with inferior parts and should be recalled to have all the gears replaced.i have also had to replace both front wheel hubs and a motor.the s1-s of this era need to be investigated and the consumer should be protected!!

The contact owns a 2000 pontiac grand am.the contact stated that the turn signals work intermittently and the intake manifold gasket failed in january of 2005.the vehicle was towed to a small town without a gm dealer and was repaired by an independent mechanic.the mechanic replaced the gasket with an after market manifold gasket.however, the replacement gasket was also defective and caused the entire manifold to be repaired a third time.the cost of the repair was $829.59.the contact wants to be reimbursed for the repair since the manifold was defective.the speed was unknown.the current and failure mileages were 150,000.

I purchased this car with less than 9,000 miles on it.the cruise control surges when you try to resume and won't stop until you turn it off.last week it would surge even when not set.i would be driving and it would just start to accelerate. I contacted buick about it, but got no results.the car now has 16,000 miles on it.

Took the truck to get a diagnostic check due to the truck in driveway would not go into reverse so husband put it in drive to pull up a little to see if it would help to then go into reverse, instead, the truck jerked so hard & almost threw my husband & son into the garage door that morning. Husband & son came back in all shook up. The scan diagnostic code-chck showed: trans fluid-indeed full; but way burnt; needs transmission; front pump making noise in transmission; torque converter; exhaust shows signs of back pressure-and one running hotter than the other; the left side running 100+ hotter than the right - needs transmission assembly removed & repaired; reman gm trans; y-pipe w/both converters; fluids flush nuts bolt gaskets. I was told it would not be a good idea to drive it. I am retired military and maintained the truck throughout my military career, but no warnings showed on the dash reader for something wrong with transmission. It is a 2014 gmc sierra 1500 slt 5.3l v8. Vin#[xxx]. Need help if this issue has ever been placed on the recall list? if not, it should be. This issue could kill someone if it were to jerk while driving on the road.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

The right mirror, when switching from driver 2 to driver 1, keeps clicking.this is the second time that this happened. First time it was fixed, it was may 24, 2004.

2015 gmc yukon denali rear tail lights fail due to defected parts. Gmc will not replace the failed parts which is a know safety issue. Numerous complaints online with the gmc yukon 2015-2019 models.

My 2005 chevy cobalt lost power steering today.i came here to research if there were any recalls or safety bulletins.i keep finding accidents from this problem and am now wondering how many people have to be killed before you do something about this.i do not see where someone lost life so i guess you don't care.you have all kinds of complaints about the same system but no service bulletins or recalls.w h y ??????

Driver and passenger seat reclining levers broken.third door handle broken.third door handle has been replaced twice.seat levers have been replaced but didn't last.can't something be done to correct these problems permanently?

I have had to replace the heater core 5 times. The first time was 1 month after i purchased the jimmy used at reedmans auto world in pa. 2 months after that it was replaced again6 months later and every winter since. I have heard there was a ionic problem with the jimmys that send and electrical current the motor, causing the heater cores to just eat away causing them to be replace. I have also had the upper and lower ball joints replace since i have had the jimmy( they were also replaced by the original owner. I have had to replace the engine mountsand my readitor since themotor mounts broke and sent the engine thru my radiator. All problems were fixed mostly at the dealer. However. The heater core has now blown again i have no heat or air. If i turn them one the coolant gushes out of the car. I no longer have a extra warranty(expired 8/06) and cannot get it fixed..nothing seems to correct the heater coreproblem.8ak

2002 gmc sierra 1500 p/u w/4.3 lt. V-6, i have had to have the a/c condensation line covered three times with the foam insulation from my dealer. They also have to clean the corrosion from the distributor, remove the screen in the bottom of the distributor, clean the spark plugs and replace the cap and rotor on each occasion.my truck is currently in the shop again to have the distributor replaced. This is at a cost of around $680.00 to replace the distributor , new plugs due to fouling and wires. I have spoken with general motors and to the dealer several times regarding the temporary fix (band-aid). The air condition condensation line is located directly above the distributor and they refuse to move it. It has become increasingly apparent their repair is not a fix but a temporary solution to get you out of warranty. There has been a recall sent to me but does not show in your listings for the subject vehicle. This problem is very dangerous, your vehicle usually gives no signs before leaving you stranded in the middle of the highway. My question is why the dealer gets away with a temporary fix and not a resolution to the problem ? i believe the air condition condenser line should be relocated away from the distributor altogether. Gmc is well aware of this problem and rectified the re-engineering of the a/c line route in the 2003 models.

While traveling on highway my gmc yukon slt suddenly stopped, i towed the car back to the workshop and we discovered that the fuel pump is out of order. I could not find a similar acdelco fuel pump but a compatible one which needed some electric wire and fuel level gage alteration. After spending about $1000 all together the suv is running good but the fuel level indicator is gone crazy it shows empty when it is full and goes back to full when it is about to empty. My question is also that why gm is not making same kind of reliable fuel pumps which run for long time.

I am the original owner of a 2000 gmc jimmy envoy.i smelled burning plastic as i was driving and was told by another motorist that i had no brake lights.the lights came on and stayed on and then they would not work.i took the vehicle to a local repair shop to replace the turn signal & hazard warning switch.this corrected the brake light problem.after reading about the reason for the recall of these switches, i disassembled the old switch only to find that it also had brass contacts for the hazard warning lamps.this was supposedly replaced in 2003 by a dealer.replacing it with the same part that was recalled!

I own a 2015 gmc sierra,28000 miles, during the last 2 years the issue was intermittent, until recently when going around a corner, it looses complete power for a few seconds.i called lithia south chevrolet of anchorage, they said it sounded like the battery, i knew it wasn't hebattery itself so i did my own research online and found many people having the same issue, so i called the dealer back and they said they didn't know anything about it. I stated its all over the internet you're telling me that no one there is aware of this issue?.needless to say i was quite angry, being female they treat you an idiot already. I ended up taking it to another automotive shop and sure enough it was exactly the same issue that i had been reading about online.i even have the broken piece, the guy even printed the instruction for the fix off of the gmc website. I take the broken negative ground (plastic) piece with the instructions on how to fix it to the dealer because they have never heard of this before, and so they would have a clue, only to find out that there was yet another recall on my truck for the back window blowing into the cab, which then in turn, turned up another problem with the radiator seeping fluid. Which i was told by mike williams that this a constant for them to have replace in these trucks they have to keep additional stock. I was quoted an exuberant amount of money for the fix and my warranty just ended a few months ago. The vehicle losing power is a major safety issue, it definitely needs to be a recall!! i called the gmc 800 number, its a joke.its been 3 weeks 3-4 different contacts having to repeat my story each time when they call you back they leave you a message without an extension, except the last one, i am over it, gmc has set their call center up this way to discourage customers from calling them. It works, i am about ready to have a stroke. When some spends upwards of 50000 for a vehicle, they should not have to go thru hell. Total lemon!!

Driver's side window began losing ability to lift/lower after being lowered one day while window had moisture on it.took it to gm dealer after window became totally stuck down and was told it was motor.a month later it happened again.was told it was regulator.three months later happened again, only this time to passenger side window.have yet to take it in again because car is no longer under warranty.it is my understanding that window motor regulatorshould last around 5 years.it also makes me wonder why this only happened after the windows were opened/shut with moisture on them (dew from am.this does pose a safety hazard in my opinion as we havetrouble makersin the neighborhood who delight in shooting paint balls at cars at night, and i don't like having an open window in which it can go flying through and hit me in the eye/head), as well as a general inconvenience.i would like an investigation done on whether or not the moisture has anything to do with these failing windows.please update on what is found out.thank you.and i checked property damage because of the moisture damage that resulted to my vehicle (and everything in it) because of a storm we had while the window was stuck down.so to me that is property damage.

The wipers do not always work. There seems to be a short of some kind in the system. I can get them to work by manually moving them sometimes.also i'm having a problem with the brake lights working. I have replaced the tail light assembly twice. Again it seems to be a short in the system, they work on and off, its very dangerous.

In february 2007, i took my car into homan auto to get the spo dash kit replaced. In august 2007, i finally realized the converter switch for the vents on the drivers side was not converting as i had suspected since february. Jeff homan refused to repair my car unless i was going to voluntarily agree to spend at least $100 for a manual diagnosis. Although teri, the rep that set up the appointment told me it was most likely a bad switch which is intergrated and requires the whole computer panel to be replaced because they have gotten a lot of cars in lately with the same exact problem and that is what was the most likely cause. So, then because teri had already diagnosed my car why then should i pay for a diagnosis? i should have been given a free written estimate and considering the severity of safety as an issue never have been denied service.

I just learned that a general motors vehicle security system (specifically model vsc 3000) which was sold to buyers of new gm cars during the 2004 model year, and which was warranted and represented as a factory gm system, which included a gm logo-ed owners manual and gm part #, is no longer manufactured, and that parts for same are no longer available nationally.if this security system fails, and/or if the remote transmitter fails, the only alternative to the consumer is a complete replacement of the entire system at owner expense for parts and labor. As well if the system fails, owners could find themselves locked out of their own automobiles at a critical time.gm has failed to implement a recall on this system and has not attempted to notify the owners of affected vehicles that they are driving gm cars with unrepairable, obsolete security systems.i believe that gm should issue a recall and replacement of these security systems which were sold to consumers on good faith as reliable, warranteed, genuine gm parts.i spoke to gm today and they are taking a hands-off approach.they told me if enough owners complained they might consider a recall but there is no logical reason for affected owners to be aware of this obsolesence until they experience a problem with their security system at which time it would be too late to do anything about it.it is already too late.i find gm's position outrageous and irresponsible.i own a 2004 monte carlo purchased new with said system installed by dealer prior to delivery.i only learned of this problem when i attempted to buy a spare remote transmitter as a replacement for one which failed and was told they have been unavailable for more than a year.thank you.

The contact owns a 2004 pontiac grand am.the contact was unable to start the vehicle due to the security locking up.the owner's manual provided instructions on how to start the vehicle, however, once the vehicle started, the security warning light illuminated.the vehicle was taken to the dealer and the ignition switch and lock cylinder were replaced.the vehicle key also had to be reprogrammed.the current and failure mileages were 44,000.

I have a 2002 saturn sl2 and i've had to replace my transmission twice now.i believe that the dealership in manchester, nh knowingly sold it to me like this since i had brought up a very slight speed up effect the car had to the car sales woman, and she had told me that it was because the car had a slightly more powerful engine than the 4.0 i was used to (it had a 4.6) and the jump was just the "extra power".i haven't even owned the car for 18 months yet.it's a piece of crap and i have a pretty bitter taste in my mouth from dealing with the car dealerships in nh and in md.the dealership in salisbury, md wanted to charge me $3100 for a new transmission.i noticed (after the fact) that there was some technical problems with the transmission from the beginning in all '02 s-series, but i really think that if there's so many people having issues that there should be some sort of recall on the product.it has already cost me about $5000 on top of the 9,000 that i have already spent to purchase it (cost of car plus bank interest for loan).the car is hardly worth $14,000 but i'm still upside-down on my loan so i can't get rid of the thing.i've looked into the research on the nhtsa website in hopes that it will give some insight on how to fix the problem permanently (more money down the drain) but saturn should really be reprimanded or made to reimburse the customers somehow.cars are really too big of a purchase for things to go this wrong.

When i bought my used 1998 gmc sierra 4x4 k1500 truck in 2003 the front passenger seat belt would not work! i took it into gus paulos chevrolet to have it repaired. They warrenty the defective seat belt since it would not pull out. Thats a 5 yrs old truckso now in 2007 it goes out again, this time they are charging me for it? the service rep said "it only has a three year warrenty".i thought it's a saftey part/ saftey issue and they should flip the bill. What if it failes in a collision? the part is on order so i should be getting the part next week. " i haven't needed it done till now since my daughter is old enough to sit upfront".

I have bought abuick enclave 2012 the fix air bag sign is on all the time i went to fix it to the dealer but still it's not fixed.

Horn stopped work. Went to take daughter to get license and it didn't work. Checked fuses and still did not work. I took to the deal and they said i had to get the horn module and air bag replaced. I haven't had the car three years yet.

Everytime i slow down to stop, the brake pedal growls and it feels as if the anti-lock brakes come on.the truck keeps rolling, and i've almost hit the vehicle in front of me numerous times.it's a 1997 gmc sierra.

The right mirror, when switching from driver 2 to driver 1, keeps clicking.this is the second time that this happened. First time it was fixed, it was may 24, 2004.

My 2003 gmc sierra 1500 sle has corroded brake, transmission and fuel lines.a certified mechanic stated that they all need replaced or breakage and leakage will occur without warning causing break, transmission or fuel delivery or fire damages. Please help with this problem asap. 00.

A recall repair on the steering mechanism was performed in 2003; less than four years later, the same repair was needed at an exorbitant cost due to the failure of the recall-replaced part. Chevy refused monetary assistance.is it common practice to place defective parts in recalls so the consumer has to pay the repair, hence the company getting their money back for the recall repair?thank goodness no one was injured when the steering mechanism broke.

2000 gmc jimmy envoy diamond edition 4dr 4x4 suv, fuel sending unit and level sensor failure. Fuel gauge bouncingwhen at half tank ( just what is showing on gauge but not always correct in measurement due to inconsistency) gas leakage now also.i have run out of gas a few times due to not knowing how much gas i actually have in tank. I am a single mom who travels country roads & highway frequently & know this is dangerous if i run out of gas when travelling as it could cause an accident. I had a few near misses due to this problem. I have read online forums where this major issue is ongoing with gm & has yet to be rectified by a recall. Does there have to be a death before this happens. While driving i am putting myself in danger & others who are on the road including anyone who is with me in vehicle.how many complaints does gm need before this is made into a mandatory recall.my vehicle has under 170,000 km on it . I have owned other gm products 2000 & older & never had this issue before. Please make this a recall & there are over 10;s of thousands of complaints but nothing is being done. I have been driving like this for a few years as i cannot afford to fix it due to the other major issues i have been fixing with this vehicle. Please issue a recall . Gm does not address these issues & mechanics know this too. My son is a tech & he says the same .due to this major issue both units & sensors need replacing as does the tank strap, all fuel lnes,, gaskets, ect & possibly the gas tank itself. The sending unit is in the gas tank which makes it at least a 3 hr job for labour plus. Possibly may also need to replace the computer due to the fluctuations & pay to have it reset by a gm tech. I would not replace with used parts due to this ongoing issue and the safety issues that can ensue.

Vehicle transmission shudders while shifting.

I heard a noise in my steering. It would make the noise when you turn the wheel left or right. I tookit to the dealership to be fixed. The first time(1/5/07) i took it in they replaces both inner and outer tie rod boots. The second time(4/4/07) they said there was nothing. The third time they greased it. The fourth time(9/19/07) they replaced intermediate shaft. The fifth time(11/14/07) replaced shaft again.

My 2010 gmc acadia slt rolls backward on inclines even though the transmission is in drive. I have driven automatic transmission vehicles for years and in my experience they are not supposed to roll backward in drive. If anyone is behind the vehicle when this occurs they could very well be crushed. The dealership stated this is normal behavior, but this is not and they should be required to fix the problem.

After only 26k miles had a clunking noise in the front end and especially when making a hard turning motion. Evidently this was a common problem because the chevy dealer knew exactly what the problem was. The description on the repair indicates end-lube i-shaftand they used a gn lube kit fp#26098419. After only 19 months and 8k miles later it's doing the exact same thing.

Rear differential will not stop groaning on any turn. Rear differential now has to be replaced and the car only has 80,000 miles on it.we also have to replace the rack and pinion.the total costs associated with both these will be well over $5,000. It is effecting the turning process when i need to turn the car.also have a rack and pinion failure.the steering column completely locked up and the towing company had to put oil all over where the car was parked and slide it up to the cable to tow the car.entire steering mechanism replaced but now the rack and pinion has to be replaced.i think it is due to the steering column issue.that is when it started.

The contact owns a 2003 gmc envoy xlt. The contact stated the jack that holds the vehicle up while changing a flat was locked in place which made it impossible to release and lower the vehicle to the ground. The mechanical jack had to be kicked from underneath the vehicle in order to release it. There was also a crack in the rear drivers side rim. The dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 73,000.

2000 gmcsierra pick up truck. Abs sensors are corroded and the truck will not stop properly. It was in for recall 1 and a half years ago at 40,000 miles. Now at 48,500 it isdoing the same thing with abs. Dealer will not pay for the repair for the fix. In addition the dealer now wants me to replace rotors that are under recall.

I bought a new 2005 chevy impala in march 2005 and had to replaced the steering shaft after about 12000 miles in 9 months. In feb,2010 i had to replaced the second shaft that's 3 shafts in 4 an half years with less than 60,000 miles.

I have a 2005 gmc envoy i6 that i purchased in march 2005.november of 2006 we replaced the fuel sensor that is under warranty due to when i would fill up the gas tank the gauge would go to empty and would eventually make it to full after about 100 miles driven.now a year and a half later the same thing is happening and the local dealership has confirmed it is a known issue and would cost around $1100 to fix the issue that should have already of been fixed the first time i took it in.

2015 gmc yukon denali rear tail lights fail due to defected parts. Gmc will not replace the failed parts which is a know safety issue. Numerous complaints online with the gmc yukon 2015-2019 models.

The wipers do not always work. There seems to be a short of some kind in the system. I can get them to work by manually moving them sometimes.also i'm having a problem with the brake lights working. I have replaced the tail light assembly twice. Again it seems to be a short in the system, they work on and off, its very dangerous.

We will never buy a chevrolet again... Unfortunately we have had a very bad experience with this vehicle and the dealer; coincidentally, could never figure out what was wrong while under warranty.

My 2003 gmc sierra 1500 sle has corroded brake, transmission and fuel lines.a certified mechanic stated that they all need replaced or breakage and leakage will occur without warning causing break, transmission or fuel delivery or fire damages. Please help with this problem asap. 00.

Driver and passenger seat reclining levers broken.third door handle broken.third door handle has been replaced twice.seat levers have been replaced but didn't last.can't something be done to correct these problems permanently?

Everytime i slow down to stop, the brake pedal growls and it feels as if the anti-lock brakes come on.the truck keeps rolling, and i've almost hit the vehicle in front of me numerous times.it's a 1997 gmc sierra.

I bought a new 2005 chevy impala in march 2005 and had to replaced the steering shaft after about 12000 miles in 9 months. In feb,2010 i had to replaced the second shaft that's 3 shafts in 4 an half years with less than 60,000 miles.

I heard a noise in my steering. It would make the noise when you turn the wheel left or right. I tookit to the dealership to be fixed. The first time(1/5/07) i took it in they replaces both inner and outer tie rod boots. The second time(4/4/07) they said there was nothing. The third time they greased it. The fourth time(9/19/07) they replaced intermediate shaft. The fifth time(11/14/07) replaced shaft again.

I purchased this car with less than 9,000 miles on it.the cruise control surges when you try to resume and won't stop until you turn it off.last week it would surge even when not set.i would be driving and it would just start to accelerate. I contacted buick about it, but got no results.the car now has 16,000 miles on it.

The right mirror, when switching from driver 2 to driver 1, keeps clicking.this is the second time that this happened. First time it was fixed, it was may 24, 2004.

The wipers do not always work. There seems to be a short of some kind in the system. I can get them to work by manually moving them sometimes.also i'm having a problem with the brake lights working. I have replaced the tail light assembly twice. Again it seems to be a short in the system, they work on and off, its very dangerous.
