2011 gmc. Consumer writes in regards to airbag inflator recall. *ldthe consumer stated the recall repair exceeded a reasonable amount of time. Updated 10/23/217
Consumer received a letter regarding flexible fan blades, the letter states that over time the blades may develop cracks which could result in separation of the blades and could cause a serious injury, consumer is questioning if this should be a recall.
Consumer received a notice regarding a problem with the fan assembly and is questioning why there isnt a recall where the manufacturer has to pay for the repairs.
Tail lights inoperative.
Seat belt defective.
Consumer pulled release to lean back and when he tried to put it back in position, the recliner just fell back in the back seat, consumer feels the hinges are made of a poor type of metal.

Brakes and power steering failed. *phthe consumer stated while driving down a long hill, the brake pedal went to the floor. The consumer was towing a flat bed trailer, trailer and load weighing 6000 pounds. The consumer was able to downshift and used the trailer brakes to stop the vehicle.the failure was caused by the pump shaft in the power steering pump breaking . The consumer was told by a gm representative that the power steering pump supplies the power to the power brakes.
Problems getting recall repairs performed on vehicle.*mr (nar)the recall was regarding the windshield wiper.
