Egr valve failed, causing brakes to fail.
Recall repair (99v-025) not able to be completed due to dealer problems, scheduled appointment when parts were not in. Mjs
Consumer brought vehicle to gm dealer for recall repairs (99v-025), mechanic refused repair, but had the part #12450076 for replacement. However, another mechanic gave consumer instructions to install part, consumer replaced part himself.
The vehicle stalls due to fuel pump failure. Yh
Parking brake did not fully release and after a couple hours of driving, the driving drum exploded. *mr this was a driveshaft mounted parking brake bolted to the back of the transmission directly next to it was a fuel filter which was torn opened and ignited and caused a brief flash of flames but had gone out.(created a severe twist to the driveshaft/transmission housing junction that the transmission case cracked)the second incident was similar. *scc
When the turn signals are used, the speedodmeter and tachometer change breifly and then return to correct position.tt
Owner received recall notice and is having trouble obtaining recall work.
