Brakes failed and i had to swerve into oncoming lane to avoid a rear end collision. Pedal went to floor and secondary brake system brought the truck to a stop.investigation showed severe rusting of brake lines throughout the vehicle.the tragedy of this is that this truck cost over $60,000 and for probably $10 more at the time of manufacture, gm could have installed stainless steel brake lines or at least something with some corrosion treatment.this is a real ticking time bomb with all of the gm products on the use car lots that are about to rupture their brakes and cause an accident.i remember when honda had to recall for rusty fenders. Hellowake up!!!!
