The vehicle was restarted and the battery warning light remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who replaced the alternator and the battery, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 120,000.

While driving with passengers in car, smoke started to come from the floor area in the back seat area.immediately drove car to a car service shop to have inspected to determine where smoke was coming from.the car technician was unable to determine where the smoke was coming from other than from the floor area in the back.have been replacing a radiator because the engine keeps running hot.had a new radiator installed.then began to have problems with the anti-freeze disappearing from the radiator and the reservoir.took car in and had a pressure test performed.the mechanic was knowledgeable of the problem and identified that the anti-freeze was leaking from the rear heater core.i was asked if i heard a clicking sound in the inside of the car coming from the back.i told him i heard it off and on.it was determined thatwas were the smoke came from earlier.

Have been having problems with rear tail light (stop lights).when i replace the burned out bulb, it burns out within two weeks or less.have had to replace the board that holds the bulbs which cost about $40.00 each.have replaced four times since 2010.there appears to be an electrical problem causing the board to burn out.

2004 gmc envoy xl (98000 miles) fuel tank inlet check valve fractures causing fuel to leak from tank.potential fire or explosion due to crack in tank gmc recall but not for my vin# since this is an apparent flaw in tank it should be fixed by gm it will cost me over $1500 for replacement of defective part.
