The contact owns a 2006 gmc envoy denali. While driving at 45 mph, the contact crashed into the rear of another vehicle. None of the air bags deployed. The contact suffered head injuries and a police report was filed. The contact called the manufacturer and was informed that a representative would be sent to inspect the vehicle. The current and failure mileages were approximately 80,000.

I have looked into this issue and there are 1,000's of people with the same issue i have. My airbags go low over night and under 32 degrees don't pump up at all. I work 26 miles away and travel to work riding on my frame. My body is jarred and my truck is getting beaten because the air ride system is not working properly. You can hear the pump working and i've been told that it's a valve needed to be replaced. This issue is not from age. Others have had this problem as early as 40k.

Gm has a recall out for envoy denali driver door panels shorting out causing smoke and possible fire. This is a fact.my door did start on fire and thank god i was still in the store when it happened. Brought the truck to the dealer, dealer says "yes" this is a recall issue, gm has the dealer hold my truck for three weeks while they decide ifthey are going to pay for the repairs to the recall that did start on fire. After three weeks the third party representing gm calls and says "no" gm is refusing to pay for the fire damage. ???? how do you have a recall but not cover the damage if it ends up happening. September 2013 issue of consumer reports page 16has the recall article.

I was driving 10 mph and the suv stalled put it in park to restart and it would not start had it towed to a ex gm dealer and they replaced the switch .

Driving at 20 miles an hour and hear a crackling noise in driver door panel.window rolled up on it's own, side mirrors began to readjust themselves and heated seat came on.when noise quit i had lost all control of panel controls.called gm dealer to get it in for the recall on master switch and was told there were no parts or remedy from gm as of yet.recall came out a couple months ago.called another dealer and told the same thing.i called direct to gm and was told there was no solution at this time.i had no window control, car will not lock, side mirrors pointed down to ground so i can't use them. I called back and asked why a recall was issued when there were no replacement parts on a safety issue such as this.kids can open doors, can't change lanes on highway do to mirrors and can't use windows.as i continued to drive the crackling came back and seat reheated, mirrors repositioned, and window tries to go down.i called again and was told i could set an appointment and would have to pay up front and then get reimbursed from gm.i told them i would not under any circumstances. They would review and get back with me in 24-48 hours.nothing so far.this morning while driving in the dark the noise started again and i lost my headlights, black, nothing.sitting at a stop sign today, car running and in drive, i lost all dash panel gauges for about 30 seconds. Car still ran and everything came back.fearful ofa wreck and having kids in the car with no safety locks.i can't manually lock hatch so i am at risk of an easy break in and i am in the medical field and travel with supplies that must be locked up.never by another gmcsomething needs to be done!!!!

Fuel gauge is moving from full to empty when the vehicle is full. Dealer is saying it is a common problem, $800 for repair is the going rate. I have found may more people with the same problem. Http://www.topix.com/forum/autos/chevrolet-trailblazer/th8ji6tepo3vrji3d .

I have had 4 battery and lights flash and hard draw on alt have replaced alt with new delconew lights still flash draws lights down. Been to dealer dealer from2008 to now and they tell me i don't drive very need to drive more care has 40"000 miles they can't find anything wrong. You can drive or be setting running still does this it pull down on engine pullsalt goes to12 volts then goes on

Purchased this vehicle in october of 2013 and now the drivers door electrical systems works intermittently. I contacted gmc because this was a recall in june of 2013. Gmc told me the work was already done so to have this problem fixed i would have to pay for it out of pocket. The problem i have is they didn't fix the problem they only masked it with a cheap piece of plastic.if a vehicle has a recall and it is not fixed correctly does the company legally have to play to fix the part again because one of their dealerships was negligent in fixing the recall correctly?

The contact owns a 2006 gmc envoy denali. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start and all the warning indicators illuminated. The contactmentioned that when the vehicle would start, it would cut off immediately. The vehicle was taken to betten baker chevrolet buick gmc (14120 northland dr, big rapids, mi 49307 (231) 629-4340) where it was diagnosed that an electrical failure was found, but the dealer did not know the exact cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to nhtsa. The failure mileage was approximately 126,000.

When braking the car feels like it will stall out @ around 20 mph.brought back to dealership.computer chip issue that does not have a solution yet.

Gm ignition switch problem with suvs!!!!!!!was driving about 45 mph with our grandkids and all power was lost.no power steering, no brakes.radio and electric windows still worked after stopping (luckily safely).service repair reported that ignition switch circuit that controls the engine shorted out turning off engine at 45 mph.this is the 5th ignition switch on this vehicle.gm has a larger ignition switch problem than they are acknowledging.luckily we just got off the highway going 70 mph or we would have crashed.please research this class of vehicle (suvs/trucks) as i believe gm has a similar problem as the cobalts!!!!!!!

Engine stalled a few seconds after starting, then would not crank, only clicked. I had the car towed in for service. Technician checked battery. It was fully charged and vehicle had full voltage. Diagnostics determined low voltage out from the ignition switch. Recommended ignition switch should be replaced. I had the ignition switch replaced twice already. I have had to replace three ignition switches in three years at a total cost of $817. I understand that gm has recalled ignition switches on several models but the envoy is not part of that recall. Obviously my vehicle has the same problem as the recalled vehicles, why is it not part of the recall? the first ignition switch failed at 65-70 mph on the freeway. This is a very dangerous problem. Since the rest of the electronics are connected to the ignition i have no safety equipment such as air bags. If i would have been in an accident, it could have been fatal.

Engine wouldn't crank at times. Starts normally when it does. After about a week of having this problem i took a the car in for service. Diagnostics determined the ignition switch was bad and should be replaced. I had the ignition switch replaced 14 months and 6070 miles prior to this incident. They replaced the ignition switch. The part was under warranty but diagnostics and labor was $220. The first ignition switch failed at 65-70 mph on the freeway. I was driving on the freeway at 65-70 mph. The engine lugged a little like it was running out of gas but the tank was half full. The engine resumed running at full speed. A few seconds later the engine shut off. I was able to coast long enough to pull off the freeway. But without power steering and brakes this was not an easy task. Once the car stopped i turned off the ignition and put the car in park. I tried to restart the car but nothing happened. I called a tow truck but the driver could not get the car to shift into neutral in order to put it on the car carrier because the shifter is tied to the electronics. Without power it does not work. He had to call for another tow truck to pull the vehicle in for service. The service technician tested and found low voltage from the ignition switch. He replaced the ignition switch. Diagnostics, part and labor $307. This is a very dangerous problem. If i was not able to move out of traffic i would have been a sitting duck in the middle if the freeway. Since the rest of the electronics are connected to the ignition i had no safety equipment such as air bags. If i would have been in an accident at freeway speeds, it could have been fatal.

I've had car one month to the day were do i start .the car cuts out while driving. Shows codes one sec. Next sec i have several looks clean but so many probs i really feel [xxx]. I purchased a lemoninformation redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Fuel gauge is not working properly on my vehicle.it stays on "e" when there is plenty of gasoline in the car.there have been several complaints about this that i have seen on websites.occasionally the gauge will move up but then go back to "e".i went to dealer and they said it is a bad fuel senor gauge which is in the gasoline tank.seems like this is a common issue and could cause other problems. The fuel gauge has been like that for over 6 months, as the cost was astronomical and i believe there should be a recall.additionally, recently my oil pressure gauge has shown the max amount and then last night it went down to the lowest amount on the instrument panel.it goes back and forth from high to low and the oil pressure low light comes on the instrument panel and then goes off.it says to stop engine.there does not appear to be anything physically wrong with my engine and i will be taking it to the dealer tomorrow to confirm that.i believe both of these issues are caused by a faulty instrument panel or electrical system included in gm's models.i have a family member with an older gmc suv with similar issues and they also had issues with a gmc truck they used to have but got rid of it, due to the malfunctions.seems like a very common issue that should be resolved by ge.

After exiting the interstate with speeds up to 65mph and beforei couldslow down to theto the current speed limit of 25mph the engine of my gmc envoy denali 2006 abruptly cut off. I steered to the curb to get out of the road of traffic with the first thought that i was out of gas; but i had a fourth of a tank. The gmc dealership first told me the ignition switch burnt out and my repair bill was $277.several days later they called me and said the vehicle stalled again while they were test driving it. Now they say the ignition switch burnt out a module which would cost another $700. Total bill with labor and tax....$1059.57.

First off my electrical panel in my steering wheel none of the lights are on and with my windshield wipers some time they will come and when it start to rain and they will stop working this is very dangerous because i never know when they going to work or not driving like this can be a death trap, this been going forabout 6 months i told them after the recall for my door panel they said it might be recall for this as well nothing yet.

Engine suddenly stopped running, placed shift lever to park position. Engine would not restart. Transmission was now locked in park, causing inability to push vehicle to safety.repair by gmc dealer involved repairing electrical short in factory wiring under dashboard at the firewall, in the area of the brake booster mount. Apparent cause is improper routing of wiring at time of vehicle mfr, causing abrasion of wiring over time.

The check engine light came on and followed shortly by the engine quitting, 1 time at idle, 2 times in while under way in traffic.

2006 envoy denali. Consumer writes states gas needle stopped functioning *tgwthe consumer stated the gas needle began to fluctuate in the beginning and since that time, the needle has been stuck on empty, and the engine light illuminated as a result. In march of 2009, when the consumer stared the vehicle, it sounded as if there was something metal tumbling around under the hood.upon inspection of the vehicle, it was determined the engine needed to be replaced. On june 10, 2010, the vehicle would not start and had to be towed to the dealer. An inspection revealed a starter was needed. Also, an alignment was done and the rear brake light was replaced. On june 12, 2010, the vehicle would not come out of park. After 25 minutes and over 50 attempts, it finally came out of park. The consumer drove to the dealer, but they were unable to find a problem. September 2010, the consumer noticed the rear of the truck was sitting very low. The rear end air suspension needed to be replaced. The air condition randomly worked. There were times where the air would just start blowing and no buttons were pushed. Also, the defroster stopped working. The consumer continued to experience problems with the vehicle not coming out of park.

My husband and i were traveling when the vehicle shut off with no warning at all and all the dash board lights came on. The vehicle would not restart but would turn. This happened saturday 9/2/17 on a countryhighway out in nowhere . We called a tow truck. Thank god for cellphones.on 11/12/2016 hub bearings replaced. 11/15/16 module and connector replaced and fuel level sensors and ring replaced. Three years ago a/c went out. Replaced.

Reduced power light came on when on the highway.almost got hit by a semi.this has happened many times.the engine has only 8k miles since engine was replaced under warranty.

Driving around a corner, wheels locked up, service stabilitrack light went on, steering wheel unresponsive to turning.went to a shopping center and was unable to get out of parking space as wheels locked up and vehicle wouldn't turn.this should be a recall.the service stabilitrack light on dash can go on at anytime while driving.this can be dangerous when trying to turn on a busy street and nothing happens.it feels like the car is not responsive to the steering wheel, brakes and wheels.

I bought a used 2006 gmc envoy denali with 69,000 miles in june 2010, by july i was replacing the air shocks on the right side of the vehicle. On about 7/28/2011 on the beltway where the speed limit is 65 i was in the far left lane approaching a left hand exit when my car stalled, i had run out of gas with no indication. I waited over an hour for someone to come put gas in my truck in about 100 degree tempature. I later ran out of gas on a back road coming to my house at night. Again no indicator light came on to let me know i was low on gas. Now the gas gauge floats between full and empty contionusly. This was a very dangerous and scary situation both times. My flashers were on the whole time and i had to change the battery. Now the air will not come out of the vents only the floor and defrost. But the most important thing is the gas gauge, i could have been involved in an accident both times.

1. Started with horn honking on its own, radio turning on and off and heating and cooling turning on and off and battery being drained.dealer replaced 2 batteries.2. Stabilitrak warning light would intermittently come on and say it needed serviced. 3. Gas gauge started malfunctioning aftera fill up. Needle would fluctuate and eventually remain on e.was told by dealer it was either the fuel level sensor or instrument panel.4.vehicle started to jerk forward when sitting at stop light. Jerks are strong enough that you feel like you were rear ended.then started noticing the jerks while driving at highway speed. 5. Oil gauge began fluctuating from high to low. Was again told it was a bad instrument panel .6. Rear air suspension began deflating when vehicle would sit for long periods of time. Low enough that tires almost touch top of wheel well. Compressor would come on and rear end would come back up to normal.now it deflates over short periods of time and takes a considerably longer amount of time to reinflate. I am now noticing that it is deflating some while driving. If you hit a bump you can feel the tire hit the top of wheel well.dealer could not explain the jerking. Was told there was probably an electrical problem causing things to come on and off. Fuel gauge is being replaced free as a defective part.was told rear suspension was most likely a dead compressor and tires could possibly rub or blow out if suspension deflates while driving.

While attempting a full stop after pulling into parking lot, vehicle would not stop, abs came on and prevented envoy from reaching full stop. Had to put vehicle in neutral and use e-brake. Occurred 4 more times before i could take for service. Mechanic diagnosed issue with abs sensors, although sensors did not report as faulty. Online research indicates this was a common gm failure from 02-08 in trucks in areas where salt/snow is prevalent. Remedy was disable traction control and abs, cant afford to replace frontbearings and rear sensors. Problem only occurs intermittently, and only when attempting stop from low initial speeds.

The contact mentioned while starting the vehicle there was intermittently roaring noise and the check engine light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer however, the technician was unable to diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 45,000 and the current mileage was 60,000.

In the morning the car run fine, but once the engine is warm and i start to run errands it stalls. If i wait about 10min or so... I must speed home or to a safe area to let the engine cool. If i come back in a few hours, the truck will start with no problem. It has been to the shop more often then i remember. Is there anyone having these same issues?

Just like all the others my 2006 gmc envoy denali has a bad #7 lifter. Where are the recalls????? gm is getting away with ripping off the public and no one cares. Just bail them out and then let them rob all of us also???????????????

In the rear compartment of my 2006 gmc envoy denali there is a compressor. There must be a leak because my car looks like a low rider in the morning until i start it and the compressor comes on and in about 3 or 4 minutes it is back to it's normal drivable height. Has there been this problem with anyone else and is there a recall to fix this problem?

Failure of the dod lifter, also known as the active fuel management system.while at speed on the freeway, the dod lifter on cylinder #7 failed causing a misfire on the cylinder which caused teh engine to shake violently.this is the 2nd failure of a dod lifter on my truck.in nov 2014, a dod lifter on cylinder #6 failed, causing a engine misfire and a violent shake.the cause of the failure was determined to be lack of oil pressurize the dod lifter. Upon deciding to rebuild the motor rather than replacing the motor, we decided to replace all internal components of the motor simply because the motor would need a full tear down anyway.the lifters, oil pressure solenoids of the dod lifters, rockers, rocker arms, springs and camshaft were all replaced thinking that we might as well rebuild the block with new components to save off any future issues.after 1 month in the gmc service center, the vehicle was back on the road in dec 2014.this repair was $5,900.00in march 2016, yes 14 months later, a 2nd failure of a dod lifter occurred on cylinder #7.the vehicle exhibited the same issues as in nov 2014.this failure occurred on the rebuilt motor on new components installed in nov 2014.this repair will cost $2500 just to replace the 1 lifter.no other components. This leads me to believe that a the dod failure is more common and is a design flaw of the active fuel management system.this issue is more than a tsb issue, it should be a recall.

After driving approximately 20 miles on cruise control i tapped the brakes to disengage the cruise control.the vehicle dramatically lost power and the check engine light came on. I was able to avoid other traffic and pull over on the freeway, i then drove off the freeway on the shoulder and into the nearest gm dealer at maximum speed of approximately 30 mph. The problem was diagnosed several times resulting in rewiring of the throttle body connector and finally replacement of the throttle body after the third incident of the same issue. Loss of power and unable to proceed at more than about 30 mph.

My gmc envoy denali 2006 uses up to 2 to 3 quarts of oil in a 30 day period. I have no leaks or exhaust problems. It finally collapsed a lifter and push rod. Says there is no notice or recall, but the is the same engine they used in the 2003 pontiac, they did recall those motors. Does any one have some help for me?

Fuel sensor failure in the gas tank. Causing the fuel tank to read empty when full, causing the suv to stall when the tank is full, causing the check engine light to come one. This is a safety issue.

My 2006 envoy denali's low beam lights are cutting out on me at night. I've read several cases on the internet that there was a recall on this. I'm concerned that this situationmay cause an accident at night unexpectany.

Headlights failed come on after auto light function activated, took approximately 5 minutes for lights to come on.

Low beam headlights and daytime running lights have began failing intermittently. Vehicle was in motion. Low beams failed on an unlighted interurban highway at night.scary! they stayed off for about 5 minutes, and then returned to operation.during this time i was driving, trying to vacate the highway, using high beams and fog lamps. Dtl failure noticed when entering garage.headlight delay also fails at these times.losing lights at 45 mph on a darkened road is very unsafe. Dealer service department says problem may be a light relay that is known to have issues.

Bulb sockets for reverse lights are corroded and rendered unusable due to placement and lack of protection from road grime. Caused lack of visibility at night while operating vehicle in reverse. ## vin failed ##

While driving at dusk, and night, my headlights just go off for no apparent reason. The lights sometimes will not work for many days in a row, making it not safe to drive at night. Then they start working again. This has caused safety concerns and difficulty in having safe night transportation. This problem usually starts after rain or snow.

While driving at night, my headlights and instrument panel went out for no apparent reason. The high beams did not work either. The only way i could get lights on was to hold the flash-to-pass lights on.i stopped in a parking lot, turned off the car and then started it again and the lights came back on but went out again after i started driving.i stopped again and the lights worked fine for a couple of weeks but i experienced the same problem on 11/3/2014.

The contact owns a 2006 gmc envoy denali. The contact was driving at approximately 40 mph, when the headlights seemed to reflect off the windshield which hindered his driving abilities. Whenever it rained, snowed or was foggy outside, the high beams and fog lights would also reflect of the wimdsheild and blind him while he was driving. He took the vehicle to the dealership where the highbeams were supplied with brighter bulbs. When he called the manufacturer, he was told that what he was experiencing was a normal function of the vehicle. The contact did not feel that the windshield was a part of the problem; instead, he felt that the exterior lights were defective. The failure mileage was approximately 15,700. The failure mileage was approximately 15,800.

Gas gauge and fuel sensor stopped working, two estimates to repair of $800.00. This is an extreme safety issue not knowing how much fuel is in your tank.

Fuel gauge stays on empty after filling the gas tank. It may alternate from full to empty intermittently.

The contact owns a 2006 gmc envoy denali. The contact stated that after refueling, the fuel gauge displayed a reading of empty and the check engine light illuminated. The fuel gauge had since constantly displayed inaccurate readings. The contact replaced the fuel cap, but the failure continued. The vehicle was not taken to have the failure diagnosed, but the contact received a letter from the manufacturer acknowledging that they were aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 15,000. The vin was unavailable.

Gas gauge not operating properly.

About three months ago the fuel gauge, after filling the tank, would read empty for a period of time. Then the gauge would read full, then it would go back to empty. This would continue for a short period of time and eventually the correct (i assumed) level would be shown until the next fill up. As time has passed, it takes longer for the gauge to finally settle down and read normally. I have now received a letter from gmc stating they are aware of the problem and will pay for half the repair cost. My question is that if this is a premature failure, as the letter states, why gmc is not responsible for 100% of the cost. The letter also states that the fuel level shown may read more than the actual level. Could lead to running out of fuel on the interstate, getting in an accident trying to get off the road, and/or injector damage.

The problem is with my 2006 gmc envoy denali edition.about january 1, 2011 i received gas at a shell gas station.after receiving fuel the fuel gauge remained at e and did not g to f signaling a fuel tank.every time i refill the tank the gas needle swings back and forth between f and e.around half a tank the needle drops to e.the fuel gauge is not reading accurately and has caused the truck to stall once while driving.the check engine light is constantly on.i have not done any repairs because i've been told the fuel assembly has to be replaced which is a costly repair.to prevent the truck from running out of gas while driving i've been monitoring the trip meter and going by the gas mileage.

The contact owns a 2006 gmc envoy denali. While drivingapproximately 35 mph the contact noticed thefuel gauge displayedempty. The contact previously added fuel and confirmed that the fuel tank was not empty. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 57,000.

The fuel gage does not work properly goes from full to empty no matter how much fuel is in the tank also sets off check engine light may cause problems with e_check.

At every fillup we can smell gas like there is a fuel leak. I had a shop do a fog test and they confirmed a leak "somewhere from the top of the tank". The tank would need to be dropped to visually inspect at a cost of $400-$500 just for the dropping of the tank. Then there would be added costs to repair whatever is causing the leak and smell of gas.after hearing that i came home to start my searching for recalls & safety notices to find that gm had a notice issued as well as the nhtsa, but it seems they cut the year off at 2004 & 120,000 miles. According to the thread below, it appears this was extended to vehicle under 150,000 miles which we are well under, but we don't have a 2002-2004 model. Thread - http://forums.trailvoy.com/showthread.php?t=22530vin - [xxx]a vin search for this envoy didn't bring up the fuel leak issues, but we can smell gas & confirmed a leak exists on the top of the tank somewhere. Was this problem ever reported for newer models yet?information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

I have a 06 envoy denali it started with the check engine light being on, i was told by a mechanic that it needs to be reprogrammed which worked until i drove a few miles then came on again.. Then my fuel indicator stop working stays on e when i fuel up. Now the other day i lost power in my gas peddle(read low pressure) then the car died. It started up but didn't have enough power in the peddle. Waiting for mechanic to look at it.

While driving the vehicle the air will let out of the shocks, also happens when vehicle is parked. Ssometimes air will not even elevate shocks when vehicle is turned on. Also randomly while vehicle is started whwther the fuel tank is full or empty or inbetween it will go from accurate level to empty mark on fuel gauge.

Fuel sensor failure in the gas tank. Causing the fuel tank to read empty when full, causing the suv to stall when the tank is full, causing the check engine light to come one. This is a safety issue.

Fuel level sensor failed at just over 52,000. Miles. From my research this seems to be a recurring problem with many 2006 gmc or chevrolet vehicles from the same year range 2005 to 2006. The recommendation from the dealership was "if you don't want to pay the $500.00 plus repair estimate, just do what many other people are doing and reset your trip meter at every fill up. Look to re-fuel between 250 and 300 miles."in my research i discovered a person whose vehicle did the same exact thing. He was using the trip meter as the gauge and even with fuel in the vehicle, he was left stranded in an interstate due to an entire fuel system failure. Should this happen to a family during inclement weather there could be serious safety situations.in light of the fact that the vehicle that we own was priced at $38,000.00 plus msrp,i would expect that the fuel sending unit would perform beyond the 50,000 mile range. I'm sure, by now, that your organizationhas heard from other gm owners about this same situation.i am interestedin your response.

I've got a 2006 gmc envoy and the gas gauges never reads full.it's always readying either empty or full.i've been dealing with this for about 4 months now.hoping that something would come of this before i just go out and have someone fix it.my check engine light is on due to this problem.thanks!

Takata recall, gas gauge will only show empty.

The contact owns a 2006 gmc envoy denali. While refueling the contact noticed that the fuel gauge reading was inaccurate and had become erratic. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 81,000.

Initially, when the car was filled with fuel, the fuel gauge would automatically go to empty and the engine light would come on.after driving several miles, the gauge would correct itself and the engine light would go off.after months of this, the system does not correct itself and i never know how much gas i have- it constantly goes from full to empty.

The contact owns a 2006 gmc envoy denali. The contact stated that after refueling, the fuel gauge went to empty and the check engine light illuminated. The contact was told at a parts store that the fuel sending sensor failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 66,000 and the current mileage was 67,000.

Replaced.

Initially, when the car was filled with fuel, it immediately indicated that the car was empty and the engine light came on.once you used a couple of gallons the fuel gauge began working and the engine light went off.just recently the system is not correcting itself and the fuel gauge will constantly go between full and empty so i never know how much fuel i have in it.also the engine light is remaining on.

The contact owns a 2006 gmc envoy denali. The contact stated that while parked, the doors locked independently and windows failed to open. The failure recurred on two occasions. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact received an unknown manufacturer recall notification. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 72,000.

When starting my vehicle and start to drive i notice 2 check engine lights pop on. One engine light has a arrow pointing down and the other just have the engine light symbol and the my speed starts to reduce a lot. I will pullover to the side of the road shut the car off wait for 5-10 minutes and crank it up and after maybe 15-20 minutes of driving it pops back on. I've had the mechanic to diagnostic machine and he has said the throttle body needs changing, had that done and the same problem came back. So i had my old one put back on and then the mechanic say maybe it's the gas pedal sensor. Had that changed and the problem is still their. I love my truck but i don't have the money to kep trying to fix this problem. I need help, from someone, please

2006 gmc envoy denali purchased. Beginning at about 10,000 miles the transmission would shift abruptly into 1st gear after the car had stopped moving. This does not happen every time but does happen often and when it does it feels as if the car has been hit from behind. Dealer has not been able to duplicate the problem but states that other owners have reported the same problem.

I have had my gmc envoy into the dealership on multiple occasions for a noise coming from the rear.i've been told that it is just a flaw in the design but it is a very annoying flaw.the noise is a constant squeal that only goes away if i take the vehicle out of overdrive.the dealership said from me not to drive the vehicle in overdrive because there wasn't anything they could do to fix it.as time goes on, the noise seems to be getting louder.

- the contact owns a 2006 gmc envoy denali.there was a vibration in the vehicle when the gas pedal was applied while traveling between 30 and 40 mph.the vehicle would also vibrate at any speed.it felt and sounded as if it needed to shift gears, as in a manual vehicle, but was in the wrong gear.it was involved in a crash in november 2006.two dealers stated that there was a technical service bulletin that referenced the failure, but there was nothing they could do to correct it.when engaging the brake the vehicle would move forward and a noise could be heard.the noise frequently occurred after a quick stop.this failure had occurred during the same period of time.the dealer diagnosed the failure, and stated they have repaired the noise, but it continued to occur.the current mileage was 14,000, and the failure mileage was 13,118.

I have looked into this issue and there are 1,000's of people with the same issue i have. My airbags go low over night and under 32 degrees don't pump up at all. I work 26 miles away and travel to work riding on my frame. My body is jarred and my truck is getting beaten because the air ride system is not working properly. You can hear the pump working and i've been told that it's a valve needed to be replaced. This issue is not from age. Others have had this problem as early as 40k.

The rear end began deflating after sitting overnight.at first it would air back up when started immediately.then it began to take a long time to air back up.it recently began deflating all of the time, even when driving.now it will not air up at all.the motor runs but nothing happens.the vehicle has been serviced by the dealership to no avail.each time, there is some new replacement part that must be purchased.this is a safety hazard and the manufacturer should recall this vehicle.

Takata recall ? air ride suspension failure, over inflation resulting in a excessive bouncing ride and loss of tractionon other sites i see that this was a 92% complain rate

Rear air shocks that bled down after sitting for extended periods of time.took to dealer for evaluation and was informed that the air shocks needed replacement.was also informed that normally the air compressor is replaced also because it is the cause of the leaking.i decided cost was too great so i chose to add springs in place of rear air shocks and was informed that the air compressor would continue to function.now the air compressor does not work, took back to dealer to find out what the problem is and was informed that once the rear air shocks are removed the air compressor is disabled.

I purchased my 2006 envoy brand new in 2006 from wyatt johnson inclarksville tn. The rear air suspension bags gave out in 2010, the vehicle was still under warranty so i took my suv to get repaired at wyatt johnson,i only paid the deductible of$150. In jan of 2012 i noticed that the rear end of the vehicle was taking a long time to air up and i assumed the same problem that occurred in 2010 was occurring again. On oct 2012 i took my suv to greiner buick gmc dealership in victorville, ca and was told the rear air shock had went out again and the repairs would cost about 1600,the dealership is willing to paythe cost and i will have to come out of pocket $785. I called gm motors because the mechanic told me that even after i get it repair this is an item that i will have to keep an eye on as long as i have the suv. When i was sold the vehicle the sales man spoke very highly of the air lift and i was never aware of the problems and head ache that could occur from having a vehicle with this feature. I feel it's a safety hazard and i feel as though paying for it to get repaired is not the answer i need to be able to exchange this vehicle for one that will not have the same recurring problem again.

Took vehicle in for battery change, after receiving vehicle back, noticed that dash vents would not operate, defrosters and floor vents still work, contacted gm- they acknowledged there might be a problem with blend door actuator, but needed to see vehicle for repairs, estimated cost- $1000.00.did online checking, this is a recurring problem with gm damper motors failing, often after battery change. Only solution is change damper motor.

Heat not blowing hot like passender side

2 problems with my 06 envoy denali. My battery died and after jumping the vehicle, all front vents will no longer blow air from them. Only top and floor work!. Also mysteriously disappearing oil. Apparently faulty pvc valve cover now caused engines damaged. Needs replacing at $6700!!! this should have been a recall! now i'm stuck with a vehicle i cant drive or fix and still owe 11,900 on it. Owned it 9mos!warranty doesn't want to cover this issue
