The guages have gone crazy, eng light pops on and off, abs light?, i am afraid that the computer may shut down while driving?have been told mechanic that the entire instrument cluster will need to be replaced and reprogrammed
My window controls on driver side will not roll down any window; however, you can roll down any window from specific door control. When i put down the passenger side window, while parked, the indoor lights started flashing, there were clicking noises and the passenger window went up all by itself. Totally freaked me out! it only stopped when i opened the driver side door. A couple hours later i was able to drive to another destination. When i took the keyof out, the lights flashed and again the clicking noises. It stopped when i opened the door.of course, right before christmas and i am unable to contact dealer. I did leave a message and hopefully get fixed soon.
My keyless fob would not unlock door on driver side, but unlocks all other doors. My window control on driver side will not roll down any window; however, you can roll down any window from specific door control. I am not sure what is going on but definitely will have to get this fixed.
Upon filling gas tank to full, fuel gauge indicated empty and low fuel light illuminated. This indication now comes and goes and is erratic and unreliable. Note: i received a letter ( not a recall ) from gm last year sayingif my vehicle experienced this problem to notify my dealer for service. Appears to me, gm knew it was just a matter of time before i experienced this problem. I have read numerous complaints by gm envoy owners since then with the same problem. My local gm dealer says that gm will fix the problem and pay only half the cost. This well known problem is of epidemic proportion. Why has this not been upgraded to a recall.
While driving, i could not tell what the car's speed was. The needle would go up and then fall back down, and then wouldn't do anything for a few minutes. This would go on every time i drove. I looked to see if there was a recall, but there wasn't. There had been some complaints and i even called gm and placed a complaint.i couldn't continue to drive this way, it was to dangerous, so i went to my mechanic and had it repaired.it cost me $540.79 to have it repaired! i waited and waited for a recall because i knew there had been others in the same situation as me. It is ridiculous that gm won't take responsibility for faulty parts that they place on their vehicles. I also had a problem with my fuel tank sensor and i had it repaired three years before gm would ever acknowledge there was a problem. I was reimbursed by gm, but only if the repairs were done by a gm dealer. I guess i'll be stuck with the cluster repair since it wasn't repaired by a dealer. I can't imagine what that cost would have been at the dealer! gm needs to suck it up and reimburse individuals that have had repairs completed even if it's not by the dealer. The replacement part is still from gm, and as long as you have a receipt!

Service engine light illuminates and fuel levels are not properly indicated.the car shakes and cuts off when idling. Service engine light and low fuel illuminate continuously. Took car in twice to [xxx] black kennesaw but they could not find anything wrong.i informed them on both service visits that i received a letter from gmc but they said my car was out of warranty. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Gas gauge does not register correctly. First started when filled up with gas and would never show full tank, only 3 quarters at most. Now it does not register at all. Always on e and low fuel light always on. Very annoying. Noticed this is a very common problem with gmc envoy, trailblazer, etc. How many signatures does it take for a recall?

I have now experienced my 2005 gmc envoy stalling while driving slowly. All of a sudden, it will just stop going and the lights on the dash flash on. Luckily, when i turn the key, it starts right back up. Going to call mechanic and see if he can figure it out.
