Rear defroster started emitting smoke, overheated and cracked rear windshield. Please see existing recall n192220470. Although vehicle not located in canada, can assure you this is happening in united states as well.
Both led brake lights have failed. If you tap them they wok for a minute but when driving they go out again. The seat vibrates to alert you of obstacles but the motor in the seat only work periodically. The rear window wiper has failed. The yukon has been driven 3 years and 50k mi and now needs thousands of dollars in repairs because of the defective parts used.
While thankfullydriving in the slow lane on the interstate in st. Louis my stability light came on the truck then slowed down on its own then went into four-wheel-drive then revved up to 6000 rpms then every service light came on on the dash when pulling to the side of the road the car then would not drive forward it stayed in neutral regardless of gearshifting it then began to cycle through all of the service request for the vehicle. After having to have the vehicle towed to the nearest dealership which was three hours away from my house they informed me the following morning the power steering control gearbox had went out and fried all the electrical's inside the vehicle. The vehicle has less than 39,000 miles after contacting gmc they told me there was nothing they could do that there was nothing on a recall list for my vehicles vin number. After doing some research i saw that there was a recall for a very similar situation in 2018 in september. I have videos of the vehicle computer system malfunctioning if requested. I just wanted to document and file a complaint so this didn't happen to someone else and cause a serious wreck , since gmc has failed to recognize this serious of an issue.
Letter from senator feinstein inquiry on behalf of constituent in regards to having problems with gmc sierra denali pickup 2015. *ldthe consumer stated the vehicle has had multiple issues with the suspension, transmission, and electronics. The vehicle would ride rough and the stability light would illuminate. The transmission needed to be replaced. The electronic dash blacked out and would not function, the settigns switched on their own. The vehicle died and shifted dangerously. The manufaturer was notified. The consumer a fix was unavailable. This has happened several time in the city crossing an intersection usually at slow speed braking and turning and all the sudden i lose everything. No steering electrical and braking. The park assist will sometimes start going off like crazy just before it happens, but not all the time. Put in park and open the door it comes back on. Then says roll down drivers side window and then back up. At on time i did have it happen on the highway. I was getting ready to pass and giving it gas and everything shut down for a split second and then took off again. This problem is going to get someone killed.
Rear taillights have moisture in them. The moisture is constant in one and intermittent in the other. Both have been replaced once by dealer 3 months ago. Problem still exists

Both back brake light work inconsistantly. While moving and at a complete stop. Local dealership charges at min 1200 per light to fix. Seems to be a common problem with the denali's.

We bought our 2015 denali 1 year ago and have approx 50,000 miles and the passengers side tail light is out.after researching taillight problems for my make and model this seems to be a very common issue. This should be considered as a recall but when looked into, i see it is not. Its a shame to spend so much money on a vehicle to have the tail light out at 3 years(after factory warranty is already out) and you have to replace the whole tail light instead of one piece.
Under normal driving conditions, my cp4 fuel injection system blew up.i had to have it towed to the nearest diesel repair shop, $14.000 later , i was back up and running
Vehicle seems to be stuck in 4wd, unable to switch out of it.cannot turn vehicle.

My truck has 30,000 miles and has the 'chevy shudder'. Why is this not a recall?gmc wants me to pay out of pocket for the transmission flush.when i am driving the truck it begins shuddering and shaking through certain shift points.
The vehicle will often shift unpredictably.moving from a dead-stop, the vehicle will sometimes demonstrate significant hesitation (to shift) followed by a loud and violent engagement.in some instances the vehicle feels like it has been hit by another vehicle.the automobile will shudder and slip and jerk when it shifts between gears.the vehicle is unsafe to operate.the dealer can not fix the issue, but understands the vehicle problems.
The contact owns a 2015 gmc denali. The contact stated while driving 35 mph, the vehicle downshifted and was unable to upshift into the higher gears. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact called the local dealer sterling buick gmc (5853 frontage rd. I 49 south, opelousas, la 70570, (337) 942-3516) and made the dealer aware of the failure. The vehicle had not been diagnosed nor repaired as of yet. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 148,000.

The driver had to depress the braking pedal excessively, however, the brakes did not stop and the brakes were floored. The vehicle ended up rear ending the vehicle in front. The air bags did deploy. The vehicle was towed and totaled. A police report was filed. The passenger received injuries to the chest and lower abdomen area. The only medical attention received was by emt at time of the crash. The dealer (cardinale gmc 2 heitzinger plaza, seaside, ca 93955,(831) 322-4112) was made aware. The contact stated they received a notice regarding their vehicle having anti-lock braking issues after the crash had occurred. Themanufacturer was not made aware of the failure. Have had my vehicle at the shop for transmission issues several times. Two of the times, issues were duplicated and parts replaced, but same issues continue as soon as i get it back. My complaint when i take it in is always the same. Normally when i accelerate from a dead stop forward or reverse, the transmission makes a thumping noise. It has steadily gotten worse. A lot of times now if i take my foot off gas for a second, at faster speeds, and then put foot right back on gas, it makes the same thumping noise and sometimes a grinding noise like it's stuck between gears. This last time i took it to the dealer, was told there was nothing they could do and would most likely get worse as vehicle gets older.
