Vehicle was recalled for anti-lock brake defect and repaired at local dealer on 1/19/06. Staring about 1/1/09 the same problem started happening again.anti-lock would activate during normal stop on dry pavement.this happens on every stop and activates around 5 mph.i called the dealer and they advised me that they fixed it once and are not required to fix it again.i took it to an independent shop and they made the same repair that was made with the recall.

Turned to look at car i though was going to pull out. Brakes did not stop the truck for the cars about 20 feet in front of me when i put them on it kept on going. This is the third time it happen. Was recalled on 12/29/05 for abs sensors. Cleaned/lubed. Took to dealer , they said there was nothing wrong with the brakes . This was the first time i took it to them before the recall . My brother in law had the problemwith brakes in his 1999 chevy truck.

Upon starting to leave work parking lot lost pedal.had fellow coworker observe and brake fluid was steady stream leaking on to ground.second occurrence december 2011.failed inspection for corroded front brake lines.

We own three 1999 gmc 1500 c pickups.each of these vehicles has experienced the failure of the under dash abs electronic modules when the vehicles reached approximately 85,000 miles or so.we contacted gmc to place a compliant.the repair charges for this problem have ranged from $800 to $1050 each. Gmcrefuses to acknowledge the problem or to reimburse for any repair costs for their obvious defective parts. Failure of the abs module still allows for use of the brakes but failure of the abs system which could result in accidents.

1999 gmc 1500 p/uabs brakes engage at slow stops, causing longer stopping lengths. Abs front wheel sensors were replaced at delehanty pontiac- flushing, 80,000 miles on truck. Expensive repair $540.00.i understand this abs problem has been an ongoing with gm vehicles since 1991. Requesting recall.

Simultaneously broken tailgate cables, resulting in severe pinching of hand, causiong swelling and pain.

I called michael gmc, 3700 s carson, carson city nv to have a sticky accelerator pedal on my 1999 gmc sierra pu repaired. I stated i knew of a tsb issued for this defect. I was told there was no tsb.i checked via the internet and found tsb #00-06-04-007a had been issued in jun 00.i have found a gm dealer who will repair this for me. But i think that hohl should not have refused to correct this problem under the tsb.do i have any recours to hohl for misleading me?
