Takata recall, over 1 year and still is not fixed
Engine died out 3 times with loss of power steering and brakes.engine was repaired after the second failure of engine. No repairs were made after the third failure.*la*mr
When starting vehicle up the engine knocks, which lasts about 30 seconds to one minute. This will then go away. Got a letter from gmc stating gmc was aware of problem. Contacted chevrolet, and chevrolet stated its nothing they could do.
Dash cracked in front of the instrument panel.know issue on gm trucks and suv.creates potential for jagged edges and shift affecting airbag deployment.
The dash is cracking on my 08 sierra that has 62k miles in several places creating very sharp edges and raised plastic parts that can lead to cut hands when cleaning or pieces of the dash to be dislodged during airbag deployment. Dealer has acknowledged several other gm vehicles with same issues. Gm will not assist in repairs.
