Daimler has no authorized repair facility within my state.the closest repair location is in austin, tx, 900 miles away, one way!!there are two authorized sprinter repair locations within 10 miles of my location that have performed mechanical/engine repairs in the past.can they be authorized to perform the repairs to the airbags?
We have tried to get this resolved for 2 yearsthey have local dealers but they will not do the recall, sprinter wants me to go out of atate 150miles away to get this done it simply is unreasonabl to do this i need someone to make this happen

The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure. The manufacturer was notified. Parts distribution disconnect.

The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer wasnotified of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Update 01/13/16 ma updated 01/25/16.
Rear leaf springs retaining pin sheared off and springs shifted forward and axle rotated causing dangerous situation. Freightliner dealer considered it unsafe to drive. Esp warning light came on and dealer replaced steering angle sensor which did not solve problem. They then found sheared pin and springs shifted three inches. Said unsafe to drive. I have now found other similar reports. This problem warrants an official recall.
