The head lights on our 2019 berkshire bea45a-450 are not adequate to drive the motor home at night. The dealer has replaced the bulbs with led bulbs, however the lighting does not provide enough light to safely drive at night. This issue is well documented on google going back to models beginning in 2014. Forest river is not providing any solution to the issue. This is a major safety issue that needs to be addressed immediately for the safety of those operating berkshire motor homes and others on the highway. Pictures attached of both the high beam and low beam. Adjustments make very little difference when attempting to correct the issue. Our dealer is great, however the support from forest river with correcting the issue is unacceptable, *dt *dt
The contact owns a 2021 fleetwood discovery motorhome. The contact stated that on several occasions while filling the fuel tank, the fuel poured out of the fuel tank onto the road. The contact stated that the fuel tank needed to remainfull to prevent the fuel from leaking from the filler neck. The rv was taken to la mesa recreational vehicle center (1101 w mckinley ave, pomona, ca 91768, (858) 874-8064) where the technician informed the contact that the remedy to do the repair was not available. The rv was not repaired. The failure recurred when the fuel tank was full. The manufacturer was notified of the failure however, informed the contact that a remedy was being prepared. The failure mileage approximately 11,000.*dt*dt
On our 2020 newmar dutchstar class-a rv, we have many lower storage bins.these doors have a latch which locks.however, if the latch breaks or is misaligned (which is plastic), the door swings open (in this case 3-4 feet) into traffic.the door is on an assisted opening arm so it is extended even at high speed.this happened while on a freeway.fortunately, no cars were coming along side.in this case, the door did have a broken latch, but it also happened on another door which was perfectly fine.need to redesign the latch mechanism to prevent doors from opening while in motion.the black plastic glide should also be investigated as this was the source of our issue.*dt
While parked on a level, paved surface, the upper bunk window glass fell off the motorhome and shattered on the road. I appears that the windows are attached using double sided tape only. If the motorhome was driven at the time, the falling glass might have caused property or bodily injury. Also, if someone was standing beneath the window when it fell off, injury was likely. *dt
