Rec"d recall,dealer has no parts to repair. Driving on freeway car suddenlylost all power. Recall number:03v455000consumer stated that engine light came on.summary: on certain passenger vehicles, the circuit board for the crank position sensor may have an improper solder joint due to solder deformation caused by heat stress accelerated by the existence of flux residue during the soldering process.consequence: this could cause the "service engine soon" warning light to come on, create a no start condition, cause reduced engine power, or cause the engine to stop running without warning during vehicle operation, which could result in a crash.*tc
Consumer stated that whiletraveling on the roadpink oil sprayed all over the windshield.they had to be towed to a dealer in pa.atdealer motor home was checked, and mechanic determinedthat there was oil intransmission fuel.consumer stated that oil and water was coming out of the oil dip stick holder. Manufacturer was called, and the problem was solved, but it costconsumer $1100.00 to be towed from one state to another state. Manufacturer authorized the dealer to replacetransmission. Consumer obtained a new motor home with a rebuild transmission. Consumer also had difficulty in steering, and dealer replaced pitman arm to stabilize steering.also, clothing bar collapsed while driving as well as the rear-view camera screen on the dash.stove cover was misaligned and the dinette bench fell.upon inspection, it was discovered that copper tubing was broken, which lost 3/4 of propane.*la

Four winds had determined that a defect may be present on certain 2002 model wind sport and infinity motor homes manufactured between july, 2001 and may, 2002. All motor homes that may be affected by this defect are identified by the last five digits of the serial number within the range from 10200 through 11232. However, not all of the motor homes included within this range are covered by this recall because other four wind models that do not contain the defect also had the last five digits of their serial numbers within this range. The total number of motor homes subject to this recall is 356. The manufacturer stated that the independent movement between the chassis frame and the motor home body may cause the copper tubing or the manifold pipe to split or crack. (02v-157).
