While inspecting the underside of my rv i discovered where the manufacturer had routed the electrical wiring around the frame instead of the opening in the frame that had been provided, (with a grommet). My concern is that over time the frame could wear the insulation off the wires and short out causing a fire. I returned the rv to the dealership and expressed my concerns. I was told that there was nothing that could be done until there was a problem. I took pictures of the wiring but don't know how i could insert them here.

We were pulling a new 2015 travel trailer that had about 250 miles on it.a tire blew and caused the trailer to fishtail, ultimately causing the truck to flip and the trailer to turn on its side.both vehicles were totaled.the weather was clear, the road was not wet and there was no debris.speed was not a factor, nor overload.seat belts and god's protection saved our lives.the tires on the trailer were west lake st/205/75/r14. We have since learned that the tires were made in china.we believe they were defective.

Bought 5th wheel trailer in april 2015 and in 2 yrs have had 3 tires blow out while towing , even though before each trip tires were properly inflated to tire specs, after 3rd tire blow out asked tire replacement center what could be the problem, and was informed that it had c rated tires on it that were maxed out and that it should of had at least d rated tires and even e rated tires would be better for the weight they were carrying, replaced all tires and no more blow outs
The roof around the edges are literally peeling back. The trailer has been parked at an rv park for a year.dry dissap

Cargo capacity sticker on door states an incorrect weight for full water tank.sticker says full water weighs 250lbs.trailer has 36 gallon fresh water capacity plus 6 gallon hot water tank.if both are full, total weight of water will be 42 gallons times 8.34lbs or 350lbs.
Bought a 2015 rockwood in nov.2014. Prepared it for my 1st outing april 2015. Hooked water hose for fresh water. Was not connected inside unit. Flooded my r.v. Camping world of north little, ar.(don't purchase anything from camping world) said it was forest rivers problem. Had other issues, wood flooring damaged, water in floor vents have mold. Cannot find an attorney to help with issue. Kept my r.v. For a year for repairs. Only able to use it twice during that year
While replacing prematurely rusting screws under my trailer, i discovered that the propane gas line that runs from the tanks at the front of the trailer to the galley area was no longer properly supported.at one location, a strap that secures the gas line had no screw.at a second location, the screw had pulled through the hole in the strap because the hole is too large.this failure allows the iron gas line to move and could result in a fracture and gas leak.since there is frequently open flame in the vicinity of the trailer (campfires, grills, refrigerator flame, furnace flame), this would create a severe risk of fire or explosion.also, while not advised, it is common practice to tow with the gas turned on so that the refrigerator continues to work.a fire could therefore occur while underway.

Tire with less than 1000 miles on it disintegrated without obvious cause while driving at normal speed despite check of air pressure in morning and routine checks of tire condition at stops while en route.tire was installed by vehicle manufacturer: constancy ly188 st205/75r14.tire load ratings of 1760 lbs single and 1570 lbs dual seem low for the trailer gvwr of 7655 lbs.trailer has dual axles...it's not immediately clear to me whether the single or dual load rating applies.
