The contact owns a 2016 forest river georgetown rv. The contact stated that while attempting to exit it was discovered that the door latch was inoperable and the door would not open from the inside or outside of the rv, trapping the occupants inside. The contact used a screw driver to manually open the door. The contact later discovered that the door latch assembly was faulty. The rv was taken to the local dealer reliable rv located at 445 s ingram mill ave rd, springfield, mo 65802 who replaced the door and door latch. The cause of the failed latch assembly was not determined. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 100. The vin was not available.
The roof is cracking on the corner radius
The exterior door lock made by tri-mark broke trapping me and my family inside. The rv was parked at the time. The door lock had to be disassembled for us to be able to open the door.had their been a fire or some other emergency this would have caused loss of life.this is a well known issue for many of their locks.
