Started to drive my 2008 motorhome, which has the r26 workhorse ufo chassis, when the dash lit up with abs light, auto park light, hydraulic brake failure, etc.. I applied the brakes to stop and the motorhome locked up instantly and will not move. I called a service center and they stated it was caused by the meritor / wabco hydraulic control unit, which is a major component of the braking system, once it fails it applies the parking brakes instantly, glad i wasn't going at highway speeds when this happened.

This is a ongoing problem of the walls separating from the floor causing the steering and suspension to become unstable this has been reported to forest river and mine has been repaired twice with the problem resurfacing again and again . It happened on a smooth and normal away surface not from going off road or anything like that and eventually this will lead to a fatal crashcheck the forest river message board this is a serious problem and happens to most forest riverclass a motor homes that were made after 2007 ayhelp with this problem will be greatly appreciated thank you

The screws that hold the exterior wall to the structure have sheered and the front end of the coach has started to fall.also there is a 1/2" gap between the firewall and the floor line inside the coach, due to this same issue.

The side walls on both sides of my motorhome have come loose from the frame causing a unsafe condition if body flex that causes the floor to move with the steering wheel it has been repaired twice and keeps failing this is a on going problem with the forest river motorhomes and almost everyone acording to the forest river fan site has failed in the same way this need to be recalled as it makes the vehicle unsafe to drive as the loose walls cause the vehicle to sway it starts with the wall making a cracking sound then the 6 sheetmetal screws that hold the wall either elongate the holes they are screwed into or they shear off unknow to the driver untill the wall drops taking the steering column with it and causeing the dash to breakaway from the side way so the steering is just hangif in air as verything is loosethis happens while just drivig down the hiway

While exiting i10 in casa grande az, i heard a noise like something had hit my motorhome. When i investigated the source of the noise. Upon removal of the side molding, i found that 6 of the 7 screws that attach the side wall of the motorhome to the floor had either broken, stripped, rusted and just were not installed correctly. Two of the screws that were supposed to be screwed into the box frame, weren't even screwed into it.i belong to the forest river forum, and i've seen numerous complaints about this issue.
