My vehicle started smoking from the exhaust profusely without warning and not due to lake of vehicle maintenance. Long story short my taurus only had 112k miles on it and i had to replace the engine. Upon removal of the engine by firestone they discovered that the turbocharger impeller nut was missing, as well as a few valve cover gasket studs. Ford has not offered to reimburse even a portion of the expense.

The entire engine failed.*dt

Forth time my transmission is being worked on.unsafe slipping and confirmed transmission problems.opened a customer service complaint with ford, they are now replacing the entire transmission after 3 previous failed attempts.car will slip upon acceleration causing the car to get stuck in the middle of intersections.other drivers have almost hit my car after it refused to change gears.

Front passenger seat belt retractor quit working

The vehicles brake engage(where you step to stop the car) will not deactivate the light when in use and causes the vehicle to be started with out pressing the brake through the touch to start. This causes accidentally starting of the vehicle while in a closed garage by accidentand risks killing human life. This also causes issues where the light remains on while driving and could cause accidents with drivers around you. Cruise control and other speed functions are also disabled when the brakes are thought to be applied. When i contacted the dealer they told me it is expensive uncovered repair and didn't have any concern for the threat to human life.

When our taurus heats up, the power steering fails and the car is almost impossible to drive and steer. The steering is extremely hard to turn. It has happened 5 times in one month.

I was driving home and the power steering light went on and 2 minutes later while in motion my steering wheel locked and i couldn't steer the car. Almost killed my self.my car only has 42,400 miles on it.

Vehicle is a 2011 taurus sho 3.5l ecoboost i left the grocery store and all was fine. Stopped for a red light. When the light turned green i started to accelerate. At about 10 mph the car suddenly lost power, a wrench lit up on the dash, and the check engine light came on. The car had no throttle response, the brake pedal was stiff, and it was hard to steer. It was still running but very roughly. Car was towed from the roadside to local ford dealer.dealer advised the electric throttle body had failed and would require replacement.
