Consumer was involved in an accident in which neither the driver or passenger airbag deployed, 2 people sustained major injuries in the accident, vehicle was considered a total loss.
The consumer requested an investigation regarding the results of the deployment of the air bags after hitting a deer.the consumer stated that driver's side airbag indeed deployed and was convinced that this caused his son to become disoriented and unable to see in order to brake and steer the truck away from trees and other objects by the roadside.at the site of the accident, the consumer noticed no evidence that his son was trying to brake or steer the vehicle, but seemed more like a runaway vehicle with no skid marks visible on the roadway or in the grass.the consumers son was killed.*scthe police concluded that the consuemrs son was speeding.
Consumer needs to keep one-year old and four-year old children in child seat/booster. However, jump seats in rear of cab are side facing.is concerned about safety of coming children in jump seats.

While driving the tire experienced a blowout, other tire appeared to be splitting, the consumer is requesting reimbursement from the rental agency for the replaced tire (firestone wilderness).nlm
Consumer states while in the process of rotating tires, he noticed cracks and splits in the sidewalls of two tires, consumer visited the nearest firestone dealer and after inspection consumer was told all four wilderness at tires (p245/75r16) would be replaced, but at the time tires were not in stock and an appointment was made to come back in, consumer did return but the original technician was not available therefore consumer was told that tires would be $576.37 consumer advised technician that he was told tires would be replaced free of charge, technician advised consumer that he would not be able to give him the tires free of charge.
Consumer took vehicle to dealer after receiving recall 00t005, dealer stated that the firestone atx tires, size p235/75r15 installed on vehicle were not part of the recall, consumer continues to receive recall notices and continues to get the same run around from other dealerships, consumer is requesting that these tires be replaced.
Rubber on firestone tires began to come off in big chunks on front tires.nlm
The left rear tire treads became totally separated from the tire causing the vehicle to be disabled (f225/70r14).nlm

Consumer is not satisfied with the firestone (00t-005) recall, consumer has to have money prior to replacement, consumer feels that they should be replaced without the exchange of money. *mjs
