We bought this tires in november at robertson tires in tulsa, ok.i was driving down the road and the tire just separated from the rim.i took pictures of the tire and went to see if they would fix it and they said that they would have to charge me $40 to replace that tire.they couldn't change all the tires because they didn't come with the truck. My mom had the same problem with wild country tires and firestone ended up replacing all 4.this is the second time in my life that i have seen a tire separate like that and was wondering if there was anything i can do to get all 4 replaced or do i have to go ahead and pay to get that one fixed and pray that the others don't seperate like that one?the tire is a firehawk ss20 rwl p215/70r14.i am scared to drive on these tires.i have 2 kids that ride around in the vehicle with me and what happens if anymore blow and is fatal? i have the receipt for the tires and pictures of it and need to know what to do.i will wait to do anything more until i hear from you.i will be calling the corporate office of robertson tire and firestone.any information that you can give me or help me with would be greatly appreciated. While driving vehicle 70mph, felt the front starting to vibrate. Had pulled over and checked tires. The right front tire had a large bubble. The tread was starting to separate. Went to an independent tire dealer and the spare tire replaced the blown tire.not original tires. Firestone fr 480 p215/70r14 ts

The tire failed as my wife approached the off ramp to our house off the freeway. The tire was quite destroyed and the one on the other side was also unsafe(although the tread looked good), both were replaced and i no longer have the good tire i do have the destroyed tire. I entered the tire size by the size of the replacments my garage installed, assuming they were the same size. ( dot number: destroyed tire size: p215 75r15 )

Tire seperating from steel belt. Still have one tire and i will ship it on request. Firestone needs to broden tis recall. They have made bad tires that i know of for 20 years!( dot number: w2hyfr5 tire size: 215/70/r15 )

Tires were purchase at costco wholesale. These tires seem to have a weaker sidewall than the others tires they sale. Possibly a safety hazard. These tires were warranted to 80,000 miles.s.

No psngrs, no injuries. Ni advised tire which shredded was a firestone tire but not the kind which the company has recently recalled. (claim# 14-1301-939) *mw

During routine washing of vehicle paint peeled off cab. Small amountsat first, they became larger over time.soon, about 1/2 half of paint on roof of cab had peeled off.decided to seek remedy at dealer who said not covered, insurance company said it is manufacturer problem and not covered. I've been pesimmistic ever since and recently the primer coating has failed and the roof is now beginning to rust.

This vehicle has delamination of the clearcoat on the hood and the bed rails. This is now starting to occur on the passenger side door. This is not an isolated incident as i have seen many ford vehicles with the same problem. I believe that this is a manufactures defect.

Cruise control failure, difficulty disengaging the cruise control.tt

At highway speedthrotle stuck at full.scared the sh__! out of me . Was going over 90 mph before getting it pulled over. Help !

When climbing uphill using cruise control, truck accelerates and sticks. When applyingbrakes or using the off button, the system does not disengage. Problem has been reported to the dealer.problem has not been corrected. Please provide any further details.

I noticed i did not have passing gear so i depressed the accelerator and could not stop the vehicle. Considering that you have had reports on this problem since 1990 (re:odi id:402614) and considering that i could have lost control of my vehicle and killed someone and myself, i think ford should issue a recall and compenste me for the new throttle box i had installed(295.56). By the way, the mechanic who tested my truck said he thought he was going to die because he had a hard time stopping the truck even after being briefed about the problem.

Rq97015, while in park position and in a slight incline the vehicle had a noise and suddenly accelerated unexpectedly, caused an accident.please provide further information and vin#.

Both side-view mirrors are useless, they flop against the vehicle at speeds of 55mph and sometimes even less, they will not stay adjusted and they are very expensive to replace from the dealer.

Rear view mirror on the outside continues to fall off.tt

Both mirrors folded up against the vehicle when driving.driver's side was replaced three times, and the passenger's side twice.however, driver's side mirror malfunctioned again.truck is in garage from 11-1 tomay 1. And i stikk only get1 year to 18 months per mirror.i realizethe vehicle is 13 years old and redesigning the mirror is not anoption. However, fordmotor corp surely could do something about the price! retail is closre to $7500 per piece. I know redesigning is out of question, but for thoseof us thatintend on keeping our vehicles, the company could reduce the price.

The side mirrors on the truck will fold in at highway speeds. The problem started after i had the truck a year or so and has gotten progressively worse. I have talked to several owners of rangers with this style of mirror, and they all report the same problem. I contacted ford for a replacement mirror and they could only offer the same type mirror. I see this as a major safety issue, as the mirrors will not stay in adjustment. I think the mirror style changed in 1992, but was used for several years prior.

Both outside mirrors failed for3rd time. They fold in while driving, and consumer is unable to see traffic.

When driving 55 mph or above the driver's side outside mirror folds in towards inside, making it unable to view trafficon driver's side or approaching from the rear.

Side view mirrors are useless, can't be adjusted.
