The contact owns a 2007 ford grand marquis. While driving various speeds, the steering wheel vibrated and shook when turning in either direction. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer (beach ford, 851 jason blvd, myrtle beach, sc) where it was diagnosed that the steering column was faulty and needed to be replaced. The contact was informed that the seals and clips inside the steering column were corroded. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The vin was not available. The failure mileage was 140,000.
