Receive error "temporarily lost communication with the climate system". Unable to operate the climate system, windows, door locks and radio volume. This occurs frequently and is a safety concern, especially in hot weather unable to operate windows or ac.

The contact owns a 2016 ford fusion hybrid. While driving 35 mph, the vehicle stalled. The contact was able to restart the vehicle after some time. The contact was unsure of which warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that a module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 9,000. The vin was unavailable.

The car dies in drive and in park and reverse and won't let you put it in gear, we have it on video and the check engine light appears but when you turn the car off and back on the check engine light goes off and does not keep a code. We have taken this car to the ford dealership 3 times and they can't find anything wrong because it won't keep the code. The vehicle has less than , 6,000 miles on it and we bought it brand new. We feel very unsafe in this vehicle. We have contacted ford customer service and it seems like we are getting the run around.ijts happened on 3 different occasions it started in july then august and september.

This car is the second fusion hybrid i have. The 2015 and 2016 hybrid titanium had the same issues. I changed one for the other in hope the problem would be gone.almost everytime i drive in low speeds, circa 15mph up to 30mph on unleveled pavement with setts the following lights turn on: advance trac, abs, hill assistant control. Whilst those lights are on, none of those functions works. As it happened in 2015 and still happens in my 2016. Ive complaint to ford, but they never gave me a solution. I believe it is software problems in abs module. But no up to date calibration files have resolved this issue. It happens frequently, so i will input the first time it happened with the older car (2015).i know that nhtsa have been investigating a similar issue with 2009 to 2011 fusions. But i have no idea about the closure of those cases neither whether there is any other investigation going on.i live in brazil, but here, the government and ford do not care about customers as usa cares. So i hope that an investigation in usa could oblige ford of brazil make the repairs to fusions sold here as well. I will input an address of relatives who live in san francisco. After "service advanced trac" warning light on dashboard, speed of the vehicle drops on highway. Even though accelerator is floored, speed keeps dropping. Experienced twice this morning and yesterday on freeway.

The car is less than a month old, mileage is 1700. On two occasions, the car had died. All of the instrument panels light up and the check engine light comes on. After a few minutes the car can be restarted. This is a safety issue especially when it dies in heavy traffic on the freeway. I had just exited the freeway both times when the car just died.i know ford had problems with the throttle body on the fiesta. They denied there was a problem for a long time. I am taking it in on wednesday. I am hopeful they will be honest and fix the vehicle.

Several times, while driving (various speeds from around 35mph to 70mph) the "engine" stalled (i put 'engine' in quotes because this is a hybrid so "engine", for me, is an analogue for whatever was propelling the car, at the time).the first time this happened, i didn't notice at first (being a hybrid, the engine turning off is status-quo).it wasn't until i pressed the accelerator and felt no acceleration that i had a clue something was wrong.then i noticed the "your car is not in park" [paraphrase] message on the dash-display."well, i hope so, since i'm careening down the highway at 70mph (estimate)!"it took me a few clicks to figure out what was happening.i was tempted to follow instructions and put the car in park, but my common sense screamed, "are you nuts!you'll blow the transmission!!".fortunately, when this happened (and the the 3 other times it happened) the road was relatively clear, and i was able to coast to the roadside and restart the car.and, fyi: the car started right up (in it's quirky hybrid way) and i was able to continue down the highway.i'm a very cool-headed person that doesn't panic easily, so i was able to handle this without incident, but this could easily lead to a terrible result, especially in a high traffic situation, especially since the "not in park" message is so misleading and could easily distract one to the point of crashing (also, someone might actually put the car in park while speeding down the highway -- not sure if that would cause a problem, but it certainly won't solve it)!note: for the "when did this happen?" question i entered the date of the most recent incident.don't remember when it first happened (a few weeks ago, i believe).for the speed question, i entered my estimate of the highest speed of any of the incidents.

Two days after getting gas my engine light came on. It stayed on for about a wee and turned off. This kept happening everytime i got gas s i took it to the dealership and was told sometimes the cap sticks and it's a common thing that doesnt require any repairs and they reset it. This happened for almost a year. I took it back and this time they claim i needed a new vapor management valve. Of course my car is less than 36,000 miles but the 3 years are up as of two months ago. I called ford and they said it was covered under warranty because i had the problem before the 3 years. When i get to the dealership to pick up my car they want me to pay for the repair. I call ford back and ask them to send an authorization number to the dealership and now all of a sudden it's not under warranty.

While under normal operation at highway speed (65-70mph with cruise control on) the car alerted me to an error ("service advancetrac") and immediately deactivated: cruise control, traction control, emergency brake assist, and a couple other systems. The check engine light also came on. The car was unable to maintain speed and began losing power. I was able to safely pull the car over to the shoulder of the highway and turn the vehicle on and off twice, the alerts and check engine light persisted through the vehicle restarts. I was able to accelerate and merge back into traffic; however, the maximum speed i was able to maintain was exactly 50mph and i think that may have only been under battery power provided by the hybrid battery system (i.e., electric drive), since no engine noise was apparent while trying to maintain speed. I was able to park at a gas station and call ford road side service. I have an automatic adapter on the car and the adaptor reported the error code of: p2112 throttle actuator "a" control system-stuck closed. The same error code was also found by the ford dealer, which repaired the error under warranty.

06/13/2017 - vehicle suddenly decelerated in high traffic situation when exiting highway 101 in los angeles."check powertrain" warning and wrench light illuminated.unable to accelerate to safe driving speed even with accelerator pedal pushed all the way to the floor.vehicle went into "limp mode".was able to get vehicle to nearby ford dealer.service technician reported that the throttle body assemply failed.ford replaced the electronic throttle body (etb) per tsb.no prior notice or warning from ford was ever provided that this is a common, and potentially dangerous, issue with the vehicle, and servicing ford dealer made no comment to that fact as well.

A big exclamation mark was in the display. The car lost power and slowed to a stop. I pulled to the side of the road and turned off the car. I tried restarting the car and all of the warning lights were still there so i ran the vehicle diagnostics report. Which stated there was a throttle problem and engine failure and airbag failure and brake failure. I had the car towed to the ford dealership.

The check engine light also came on. The car was unable to maintain speed and began losing power. I was able to safely pull the car over to the shoulder of the highway and turn the vehicle on and off twice, the alerts and check engine light persisted through the vehicle restarts. I was able to accelerate and merge back into traffic; however, the maximum speed i was able to maintain was exactly 50mph and i think that may have only been under battery power provided by the hybrid battery system (i.e., electric drive), since no engine noise was apparent while trying to maintain speed. Our brake light came on spontaneously for several seconds while car sat idle with parking brake off (my spouse was in the car and saw this happen). We turned the parking brake on and off, but the light remained on. It went off after about minute by itself. We took the car into the dealer service center to check that issue and do an oil change. They did a "vehicle check-up" (we have the paperwork) and said there was no problem found. Three days later the brakes failed. I was driving on a surface street, crossing straight through an intersection with a green light at around 10mph (i am guessing), and went to slow the car because traffic had slowed. The brake pedal went soft to the floor, yet the brakes barely had any force (i am guessing 10% stopping power). The brake light came on and a beep sounded. I was able to navigate safely to the side of the road and slow the car to a stop. We towed it to the dealer service center. They, again, said there was no problem. They indicated that it could have been the collision mitigation system warning i heard, despite the fact i have had the car for three years... I know the difference. Furthermore, my spouse saw the brake light come on earlier. Most important is the fact that the brakes failed. We also called ford headquarters and informed them of the issue. We were told they investigated this at the service center, and found no problem.
