Sync in-dash control system is severely delayed or unresponsive. Entire system shuts of randomly, gps location is inaccurate, system switches from day to night mode causing the screen to be hard to see. Issues occur at all times.

I bought the car about 2 weeks ago and the 12v battery was low and when you turn the car off it put the car in sleep mode disabling the remote function (remote lock/unlock starting and charge state) on the app. I just assumed it was from sitting on the dealer lot for a few months and brushed it off but two weeks later after charging the car twice a day it still happens if i just run on electric for my commute. It appears the car has a power drain somewhere i have made an appointment at the dealer to see if this can be resolved and how much it will cost since i am out of the bumper to bumper warranty (41000 miles).

Car was sitting in my driveway and the back lithium ion battery in trunk had a short and started on fire while car was off and not plugged in. Burnt through trunk and into back seat and both speakers are gone. Car has heavy smoke damage and all windows are bad. Found battery harness with completely melted where it plugs into battery.

The window doesn't stay closed. It automatically opens again.

The vehicle was purchased about 4 months ago with 3,000 miles.have already filed a complaint with nhtsa regarding a problem with wiring harness which caused vehicle to lose power in traffic as well as change gears.ford looked at the problem and said computer didn't record. Upon receiving car back (5th time for same electrical problem) the car began exhibiting the same problem.on 8/5/17, while in garage the alarm unexpectedly starting going on and off, doors locking and unlocking.see below for details.as of 8/17/17 ford has not been able/willing to escalate it to senior engineering to explain why the events are not recorded in the computer.please note, we have videos of the vehicle in motion and being loaded on tow truck while alarms etc are acting up.we believe this to be a very serious safety flaw.see below for details sent to ford on 8/8/2017.1.called ford roadside - 8/8/17 10:00pm (approx)2.the car kept turning on and off.3.moved car to front so tow truck could get it4. While i was driving from back of house to front, it put itself into park.and then back into drive.you could feel the electronic dial shifter move mechanically5. Got to front of house.alarm continued to trip.left car on in accessory mode to keep alarm from going off and left in park.after 10 steps away from car (9:55pm) it put itself into drive and drove into the back of my truck. No damage that i can see.but have photos.6. Decided to move back to garage as to not be a risk to neighbors.the car kept locking and unlocking doors.7. It's now in garage.it keeps locking, unlocking and power cycling...and short alarm sounds8.when tow truck arrived, alarm and other electrical issues persisted while being loaded and while the tow truck drove awayagain, we have a couple of videos, as well as 3 eye witnesses to confirm this behavior.

While driving my car on the freeway the computer screen shuts off and turns back on, this has happened several times, took the dealership and the now service manager said maybe it needs a update, which according to ford it does not. While parked turned off, you can hear electrical componets making noises. I only have a video of it happening while driving that i cant upload. Also, the computer tried to eject a cd but i have never used the cd player. Also there is the transmission what when putting in drive or reverse kicks really hard. There was a couple times the car couldnt changer geers like the rpm were reving up but not changing geers

We have brought ford in for the 5th time due to the car not powering up.most recently, the car appeared to have power issues and it put itself into reverse while we were driving.we then lost all power.this created a very hazardous situation.ford is aware of the issue.

I lost power while on the freeway to about 40 mph from 65 mph, many indicators flashed: "see manual", "pre-collision assist not available", "service advance track", "downhill assist not available", the check engine light was on as well as the airbag light, i got off the freeway, turned the car off then on again, looked to see if for some reason it was in "l".i ended up getting to my destination, it sat for 2 hours then i started the car again, (because the tow truck was taking too long) and it seemed fine.i drove it short distances the next day, it was still fine (ck engine light still on btw) but after going 20 miles it did it again!low power, lots of different indications of errors.i also noticed the engine seem to stay at a high rpm at a stop light, prior to this it seemed like it wasn't shifting like it should. (it was taking too long to downshift, not sure if it is because i was driving my other powerful and loud car recently). At the dealer they said it was the abs relay and needed to be replaced.i have had the car for almost 3 months, it is a 2017 and it was certified used at the ford dealership.they are re-calibrating the other relays/switches and the abs is still creating a problem.they are replacing it which is good because i wouldn't feel safe if it wasn't going to be replaced.

This has happened several times at freeway speeds on freeways. This issue occurs when using adaptive cruise control if the vehicle encounters a panic stop situation and determines it is unable to autonomously stop in time. When the collision warning activates and the driver uses the brakes, the adaptive cruise control disengages the autonomous braking and braking is reduced until the brake pedal travels a significant amount. This increases the stopping distance and may cause an accident. The behavior of the adaptive cruise control should be changed so that a driver applying the brakes disengages adaptive cruise control acceleration (if active) but does not disengage adaptive cruise control braking (if active). I had a 2005 jaguar with adaptive cruise control and it did not exhibit this behavior.

My vehicle odo 24000km the error comes on the screen ' steering fault service now'i bought it from texas and transferred to jordan i was checking on ford website for recalls but it not appears .it's very important to solve this issue since the vehicle steering locked during driving.

Sometimes my car will not start correctly.i then have to turn it off , let it sit for a couple of minutes and then start it up again.it generally happens again but the third time i start the car, it generally goes into the mode it has to be in to start driving.also, when i put the charger into the opening, it never gives me the full 22 miles using only electricity.i usually only get about 10 or 12.why does that happen?

Battery capacity issue. Ev battery not charging to capacity. Battery drains on ev later mode.
