The contact owns a 2002 ford freestyle. The contact stated that the rear passenger door was closed with his thumb inside the door and locked independently. The contact was unable to open the door by using the keyless entry fob or by using the key to manually open the door. The door would not open from the inside of the rear passenger door. The door was finally opened by engaging the power locks from the driver side interior door. The vehicle was not inspected for the failure. The vin was unavailable. The failure and current mileage was 55,000.
