Notice rec'd via certified mail re ford super duty chassis with 6.8l gas engine and muncie fr67 series pto submitting a letter which indicates a possible defect in the pto assembly installed on the vehicle.
Possible engine failure resulted in fire in the engine compartment of the vehile while it was parked under a carport, the vehcile sustained substancial damage but the actual cause was undetermined.
Vehicle experiences continued stalling due to failure of the tfi module.

Driving lights (day time light) are very bright on gm trucks and cars
The newer ford trucks with 4 headlights should be reviewed and possibly changed. When one of these trucks is approaching from the opposite direction and you are in a lower vehicle these headlights can be blinding. It is bad enough with 2 headlights but these trucks have 4.

However, it would be very costly to tow the trucks both ways to the dealer to replace the fuel tank straps. The consumer requested to have parts provided to him, so he could install them at his repair facility.ford motor company informed him, there was no other alternative, but to take the trucks to the dealer.

(1999 georgetown- lpg container) tank assembly located underneath the chassis,had two small welds that broke off while driving which may have caused a crash.consumer went to a welder, and had it welded back on.please provide further information and vin#.
Ford f-350 transmission not shifting properly. The consumer also stated there was an abnormal noise and the vehicle jerked.

Brakes were pulling to the right, consumer was told by the dealer that a brake proportioning valve and both rear wheel cylinders were needed for vehicle, however dealer ordered wrong parts and never got to fix the vehicle because consumer picked it up due to needing it for a conference, when consumer applied brakes there were none because the mechanic forgot to bleed the brakes, and there was almost no fluid in the brakes, vehicle was repaired after the holidays.
The right wheel had lock up due to a poorly designed caliper, the consumer points out that numerous drivers, have died as the result of brake related problems.

Consumer noticed that on the late model ford f150 to f350 pick up trucks, the steering box sector shafts snapped even on a light hit to the tire or wheel. *ph

Over the past 9 months the company purchased 22 new ford trucks equipped with firestone tires p265/75/r16, to date, three of the trucks have experienced tread separation and a fourth has separated at the sidewall, due to these failures the company has pulled all the tires off the vehicle's and had them palletized by truck id and have made notes as to the mileage at time of removal,the company feels the cost of replacement tires should be the responsibility of bridgestone/firestone.nlm
Within a few months after the purchase of used vehicle, consumer had to replace 2 dayton 700/15 tires, dot t00376rw, due to tread separation, a few months after replacing these, the other 2 tires experienced the same exact problem, consumer feels firestone should reimburse him for the cost of the replacement tires.
