The oil pan started dripping oil on my driveway.went to garage and asked if it was possible for oil pan to become porous and the garage mechanic stated that most fords and mercurys of year 1994 have developed this problem and that the ford company hasn't issued any recall but has drppped the price of an oil pan.the cost of replacement with labor was $527.05.now i find that my gas tanks are leaking and again went back to the garage and they stated that year 1994 again, had problems with fuel tanks leaking and becoming porous.i have ordered new tanks as the rear tank is leaking over the exhaust system, and the saddle tank in front is near the exhaust system and both are a danger for explosion.why isn't ford standing behind its product as the cost of replacement is excesive.
The flywheel has been replaced four times.

Ford has a recall(93s68) to repair this on my 1990 truck. My 1994 truck isn't on the recall list, but has the same safety problem. The 1990 truck never had the problem. Ford won't fix it because there's no safety notice from the govt for the '94 model year. How do i get ford to acknowledge this problem?

Front gas tank leaking, and rear gas tank leaking.
Both gas tanks have rusted out , the rear tank i cound not fix becauseit is so hard to get to the front tank i was able to use a tank repair kit . I am one of manythat have a problem with this. This truck is in perfect shape inside and out .it is usedon the road .a total of 74 miles per day. All being low salt areas.there is a problem with these tanks. I lived in northern maine for most of my life and never did i see a gas tank rust out . If you would like to inspect the trucki would be a happy camper.8jb
Transmission rebuilt multiple times. Trouble causing problem due to faulty design in driveshaft. Too long and too heavy,goes out of balance causing improper wear on transmission.

The left rear tire tread separated from the tire causing the driver to loose control and went into a counter clockwise spin, both right side tire rims dug into the asphalt causing the vehicle to rollover 3 times before coming to a stop, during the rollover the left rear passenger was ejected, all three occupants sustained incapacitating injuries (florida traffic crash report, bridgestone/firestone, p235/75r15, radial atx m/s, vnhl1m0, left rear).nlm
