2 weeks after purchase (incident occurred aug 2018 and the rv has not been used since the incident) of the above forest river georgetown rv.while driving on a highway under normal conditions, the automatic exit door steps engaged and deployed. I was notified by another driver and i had to pull over on the shoulder to see what happened.i had to shut the engine off (pulled key from ignition) and the automatic stairs then retracted. If i turned on the ignition, the stairs then deployed (completely backwards from the way it should work). This happened continuously until it was able to disconnect the stair deployment motor while the stairs were retracted.once i reached my destination, i then re-connected the stair motor and was able to get the stairs deployed.the unit is scheduled to be seen by forest river service dealer (keystone rv center, greencastle, pa) on jan 19th 2019 for this and other electrical (related or unrelated?) issues under warranty. *dt *dt *dt
