Page 84 of the owners manual states to open locked rear doors to pull the handle twice. The first pull unlocks the door the second pull opens the door. This function does not work. The dealer even tested at least 2 other 2022 f-350's and this did not work on those either. In the event of a crash, car jacking, fire or being just left in the vehicle and the doors are not unlocked the rear passengers doors will not unlock and passengers can not exit the vehicle via the doors using just the handle. The only way to unlock the rear doors if front seats are not accessable/danger to life exists is to pull up on the lock indicator stalk on the rear of the rear doors. The dealer i bought this vehicle from looked over all of this information and confirmed it to not work as described in the manual and even contacted ford engineering. Ford's response is that this feature my no longer be available and that the owners manual is either not correct or is not available yet for the vehicle. This information was directly to the dealer that inspected the vehicle and confirmed that none of the f-350 crew cabs they have are able to perform this function.
