While driving on the highway the instrument warning cluster begins to alert of engine temp, low oil pressure, traction control the air condition system fails so the vehicle is driven to the side of the road and restarted. The restart can occur immediately on occasion but typically will take at least 30 minutes sometimes several hours. The issue is reoccurring and placed in ford shops to have it returned with no trouble found or could not replicate issue.

Traveling on a paved road. Speed limit 45 mph. It was raining. No puddling was encountered.i entered a slight left turn and encountered a washboard type bump. Immediately, the front of the vehicle vibrated excessively. I released the gas pedal and pushed slightly on the brakes. The rear of the vehicle started to vibrate and the rear axle lost traction allowing the rear of the vehicle to swing violently to the right.i immediately went to the ford dealership where i purchased the vehicle less than 10 days ago. Service brought it in and i explained the issue of loss of control and an unsafe condition.the service advisor immediately told me to "put weight in the back of the truck. That's normal."i involved the service manager who went with me over the same route that caused the safety issue. He said, "i see what you were talking about." the dealership took the truck in for inspection. Nothing was found mechanically. During the inspection, the rear tire pressure was lowered to 65 psi instead of the recomended 80 psi that was set prior from the manufacturer. The tire pressure monitor system was re-calibrated to show the lowered tire pressure. Front pressures were left at the recommended 65 psi.i am now concerned with excessive tire wear running the tires under-inflated.the dealership called ford and was advised it is a "normal condition" to almost roll over a pickup with such a stiff suspension without a load in the back constantly. Ford is unaware of issue.lowered tire pressures slightly improved the safety issue on pavement, however:yesterday i was traveling on a road that had the pavement removed down to dirt for repaving. I again hit a washboard, this time going straight and 25 miles per hour. The same vibrate/shaking occurred and the back end again swung to the right without any braking whatsoever. I was close to losing control.

Bought truck brand new in december 2014.at approx. 5,000 (still during the diesel engine break in period) while driving thru an intersection in traffic the truck and motor started violently shaking/bucking with the motor making a loud knocking noise- the truck then had a total loss of power in which i was unable to safely accelerate.the truck then went to the dealer in which i was told they could find nothing wrong.the truck now been in an out of the shop numerous times because the problem keeps occurring.ford released a tsb stating that its normal for their trucks to experience "rough running" during the exhaust regen cycle.the experiences that have occurred with my truck have no correlation to the regen cycle and seem to happen at random times.the truck has become dangerous to drive and pull my horses with as the shaking/bucking is so violent and with a loss of power and unable to accelerate its scary to even attempt to drive in traffic.

The vehicle is a 6.7 ford power stroke. During a process called regen, where is cleans the diesel particulate filter, the engine would shake violently. It got worse overtime, to the point it started doing it wile i was mergingonto interstate, pulling a piece of equipment (9000lb) on a trailer. It was dangerous with the loss of power. I have since traded it back to dealer as ford has said it is normal operation.

At times while driving at 50-55 miles per hour when "cleaning exhaust filter" message comes on, the engine will shake and knock violently. This happens intermittently and am unable to recreate the problem at the dealership. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does it feels like you have four flat tires and it is very violent. Ford said this is normal, i know it's not. We live on very narrow and winding roads in the mountains. I'm afraid that if this happens on snowy or icy roads conditions the vehicle will be very had to control. This has happened 4 times. The date below is the last time it happened, mileage was 6,865. This first happened at about 4500 miles. Seems to happen at about 400-600 miles.

At times while driving at 45-60 miles per hour and while in 6th gear (automatic) after the "cleaning exhaust filter" message comes on when it cleans the exhaust twice within a 100 miles, the engine will shake and knocking/spiking noise after the second cleaning. This happens intermittently and i am unable to recreate the problem at the dealership. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does it feels like you have a loose wheel and it will jerking backwards and forth. Ford seems unaware of this problem and has no remediation on how to fix the problem. This started around 8000 miles the truck has 32,000 miles now.

The vehicle is a diesel, and when it enters regen mode to clean the exhaust filter app. One minutes afterward the engine roughs very rough and will not accelerate at all.this continues for 2-3 minutes.the truck remains running, but will pressing the gas pedal at all results in bucking and shaking until i take my foot off the pedal.the issue began at around 2500-3000 miles, and there are currently 8400 on the truck.it happens every time the exhaust filter is cleaned.

The contact owns a 2015 ford f-350 superduty. While driving various high speeds, the front end of the vehicle shook uncontrollably without warning. The contact slowed the vehicle down until the shaking ceased and resumed normal operation. The contact drove to larry h. Miller ford lincoln draper (11442 lone peak pkwy, draper, ut 84020, 801-590-0561) where a few unknown parts were replaced; however, the failure persisted. Since the initial repair, the contact had taken the vehicle to several independent mechanics and was repaired, but the failure continued. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 85,000.

Runs rough, shakes, vibration, the exhaust cleaning system will not finish, and the truck has had multiple occurences but it was worse today, when pushing on the gas pedal it would just keep declining in speed and it was like it could not get any power so i parked the truck called ford had it towed, and while waiting i thought i would start it and back up and take to see if it was still bad and it would not even go in reverse so i put truck back in park and shut it off, ford says there is an issue with the system but they have not figured it out yet nor do they no how to even fix it at this point and they sent me home in the truck.

I have a 2015 6.7 diesel. It goes through the exhaust filter cleaning about every 200 miles while the vehicle is moving. After this process starts the engine runs extremely rough, like it's ready to drop out, losses power & the entire vehicle shakes. There is also a very loud clatter if i step on the gas. There are no engine warning lights while this is happening.
