The restraint control module (rcm) is bad and needs to be replaced.there are recalls for this same part on other ford vehicles but not on mine.maybe there should be if there are numerous other issues with the same type of vehicles.

The contact owns a 2014 ford f-250. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was able to restart. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The vin was not available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 30,000.

The contact owns a 2014 ford f-250. While driving approximately 50 mph, the engine shut off, the instrument panel illuminated, and several unknown warning indicators illuminated. The ignition was turned off and back on to restart the vehicle, but the failures recurred several times. The contact called jim click ford of sahuarita & green valley at 877-785-8628 (located at 1030 w duval rd, green valley, az), but the technician was unable to diagnose the failure. The contact was informed that there was no failure with the vehicle. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 76,000.

I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle on november 13, 2016 and have had to return the truck for service more than 4 times for the same issue and the issue is still not fixed. It is my understanding that there is a malfunction with some 2014-2015 f-super duty 6.7l diesel vehicles which may exhibit a mil illuminated with dtc p207f. And that this condition may be associated with the powertrain control module (pcm). In each occasion i was driving the truck and first the engine light would turn on, second, my speed would be limited to less than 50mph, and finally, the engine would go into idle mode with no immediate restart. I have had to tow my truck four times due to this problem. The work order reports indicate that the manufacturer has performed the repairs but the issue continues and they are not able to determine the cause. This defect substantially impairs the use of my truck and has created a safety concern in which i no longer feel safe driving under no circumstance. I demand a replacement or refund that includes all the out of pocket expense occurred for rentals and alternate transportation each time my truck was in for repair with the manufacturer.

The bcm module on 2014 f-250 superduty is attached to the parking brake release plate under the driver's side dashboard. Normal use of the parking brake release causes the bcm connector to become loose. After multiple normal uses the bcm connector faults and shuts down the ability to start the vehicle. My issue occurred while driving and i lost ability to monitor speed, rpm, fuel, temp, and other functions. I stopped on the side of the road and turned off my vehicle. It would no longer start. I searched for this problem and found out it was a common problem and 'roadside' steps to fix it (shaking the bcm connector). Doing this temporarily fixed the problem. Ford stated there is no recall on the issue and would not fix it free of charge. There are multiple videos on youtube for 2013, 2014, 2015 year vehicles with the same problem. Even after contacting ford corporate with videos and forum threads they deny an issue exists. The local dealership wanted about $3,500 to 'explore and diagnose the problem'.my issue started when the air bag light flashed when i disengaged the parking brake: https://youtu.be/9svuca9gikuthen the entire bcm connector failed: https://youtu.be/8i9v6xymxwm

2014 ford f-250.consumer writes in regards to notice of safety defect and demands for replacement vehicle.the consumer stated the vehicle would fail to start. Also, all the gauges, except the fuel gauge, on the instrument cluster would become inoperable while driving. The cluster was replaced, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was unable to determine the cause of the failure.updated 03/28/2017

The contact owns a 2014 ford f-250. The contact stated that the battery warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the battery failed. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vin was not available. The failure mileage was 6,000.

Reductant (diesel exhaust fluid) heater has failed on my 2014 f-250 with a 6.7l diesel.diagnostic code p20ba. Ford fsa 18m01 covers this failure on 2011-2012 f-250/350 and 2011-2015 f-450/550.from parts.ford.com " part # 5j225 (reductant heater and sender assembly),usages: 10/04/2011 - 07/05/2016, f250/350/450/550 super duty, 6.7l 4v v8 t/c diesel, wide frame (pickup), with low sulfur diesel fuel content"stating that the same "reductant heater and sender" was used from 2011-2016.however the fsa does not include 2013-2015 f-250/350 models.i believe this is due to the large numbers of these specific models on the road and the fact that ford does not want to be responsible for this emissions equipment related failures.this failure will keep my vehicle from passing inspection.my vehicle, which i am the original owner, has less than 65,000 miles as of 10/22/2020.

The contact owns a 2014 ford f-250.the contact stated while starting the vehicle, the check engine warning light illuminated. The contact called the local dealer montrose ford (3960 medina rd, fairlawn, oh 44333, (330) 666-0711) and the dealer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 85,151.

2014 ford f250 high pressure fuel pump exploded and sent metal throughout my field system. Was driving to houston going 80 mph on ih 10 and my truck came to a stop and power steering turned off so i could barely get it off the highway. 18 wheelers were going by me going over 80 mph. We were almost killed. Was left in 106 degree heat for over 2 hrs waiting for a tow truck. Ford dealer in houston where it was towed (100 miles) wants $14,000.00 to fix the truck.

When towing a travel trailer something seems to be bending hitch pins slightly.this is unnerving to say the least. It appears this could be a safety issue if the pinfails.

About two months ago, i was travelling in stop and go traffic on the highway. A ford f-250 was in the lane to my right. As my lane was picking up speed, his lane was slowing down. Suddenly, he changed lanes right in front of me, causing me to slam on the brakes, narrowly avoiding an accident. Although he did have his turn signal on, i did not see it, due to it being the same color as his on/off brake lights. To add on to that, he had his taillights on, making his turn signal indistinguishable from his running lights in broad daylight. After researching, i concluded i would have been at fault if i had hit his truck, even though he dangerously switched lanes with a barely visible turn signal. I assume the reason i did not anticipate his maneuver is because my brain recognized the dim turn signal as the driver tapping on his brakes (as one often does in stop/go traffic). It should not be legal for car manufactures to piggy back turn signals onto brake lights. Additionally, when a car (this f-250 for example) uses a single bulb for three purposes (brake/turn/tail lamp), it creates confusion that could result in an accident or even death. Orange/yellow/amber turn signals reduce the time for the brain to realize this car is intending to turn. At highway speeds, even a fraction of a second could mean avoiding a deadly accident. After looking into this, i realized my own car has the same setup! (2013 volkswagen tiguan). This is unacceptable! i have had many instances of confusion over this, but this close call brought me to say something over this lack of effort to protect american drivers. This needs to be addressed properly, as it is a simple regulation that could help save lives. I found out that american/canada are the only countries that do not mandate amber turn signals. Please take the time to protect american drivers and future generations.

Def heater went out.there is a csb 18m01 but does not cover all years of this vehicle. No reason why this should not cover all superduty models from 2011-2015 f250-f550.

The service mgr said he knew exactly what the problem was and that these pumps fail with no warnigng

2014 ford f250. Consumer writes in regards to issue with transmission. *ldthe consumer stated the manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but declined assistance due to the vehicle being out of warranty.

I we were on the highway going 65 mph truck started violently shaking this is not the first time this has happened to us while driving this truck.it has also happened while going 30mph. It is very scary and feels like the truck is going to fall apart. We just bought this truck less that 60 days ago and this has happened 5-10 times. We have also made a complaint through fordmotor as to what will be done with this issue.we had our little girl in the truck and she became very afraid of driving in the truck.

While driving at approximately 45 mph wheni heard a loud pop and something fly up and hit the undercarriage of my vehicle. I applied the brakes and the brake pedal went to the floor and i had no brakes whatsoever. This caused me to then roll uncontrollably through a red light barely missing an oncoming vehicle. I was then able to change lanes and roll to a stop in a nearby parking lot. When i came to a slow enough speed i shifted the vehicle to neutral and then park to come to a complete stop. Upon inspecting the vehicle, i noticed the passenger from wheel had fluid pouring out inside the brake and inner wheel areas. I returned to vehicle and only then did any warning lights come on include the check brake and hill control warnings. Never before had any warnings been given. After calling the local ford dealer who told me there was nothing that the factory would do since my vehicle was no longer under warranty. I then had the vehicle towed to a repair shop who informed me that the calipers/piston had failed. The front calipers, rotors, pads must all be replaced as the calipers themselves failed, the pistons ground deep gouges into the rotor damaging it and the pads were destroyed as well.ford is aware of this problem and issued a service bulletin to replace front and rear calipers on all 2013 and 2014 f250/350 vehicles with 6.7l diesel. Nhtsa# 10054344. Due to this being a known safety issue by the manufacturer i am asking for a recall on all of these vehicles to include mine and reimbursement for these expenses. No vehicle that tow 12k-15k pounds should experience immediate catastrophic brake failure, without warning on this new of a vehicle.

Brakes get stuck and one side of brakes are not braking as srongly as other side. Brakes have gotten stuck while driving on the street and on highway.

I have experienced the ford death wobble on my 1997 f350 and my 2014 f250. At 45 mph plus, hitting sometimes imperceptible bumps can cause the suspension and steering to develop a very violent vibration. I almost lose control and have to brake very hard to get it to stop. I am afraid i am going to crash or be hit from behind when braking. Ford made some suspension repairs under my extended warranty, but these repairs made the problem much worse. I took the truck back and they blamed my tires, saying they are almost worn out. I complained that i should have several thousand more miles on these tires and there was either a design problem or something broken. They refuse to accept responsibility and told me there is no other choice but to change my tires. I put new tires on for $1,300 and i still have the problem. It is less severe and happens less frequently, but it is still definitely there. I am afraid to drive my truck but have no choice.

When driving approximately 58mph on city roads or interstate a slight vibration starts and turns into an uncontrollable wobble in front tires and steering wheel. No way to power thru the vibration you have to come to almost a complete stop at times for wobble to stop.

Driving at 70 miles per hour on a state hwy my front end started shaking violently. It almost caused me to crash ,i applied the brakes but made it worse.finally was able to regain control and stopped.

At speeds over 50 mph severe shaking occurs and the truck becomes uncontrollable until speed is reduced to below 45 mph. The truck's steering does not respond and cannot control the truck. At this point i can only drive the truck at speeds at or below 45 mph.the issue occurred on a highway during the day. Ambient temperature was 52 degrees and there was no rain. The road area i was traveling through was known for uneven road surface and could cause some shaking in this truck and in other vehicles i've driven but never to this extreme.the severe shaking started while the truck was at 65 mph (70 mph zone) and braking also became difficult. I had to keep off the gas and let the truck slow itself to a stable speed then i exited the highway. The truck is a 2014 ford f-250 with approximately 109400 miles on it. The auto shop i will take it to tomorrow said that this is a common problem with these trucks and that i should report it.

Hitting a bump at highway speed (55+ mph) causes the front end to shake violently as if the front tire has blown. Steering becomes difficult as the front end shutters. Slowing well below highway speed brings it back to a controllable state (had to pull over and completely stop once). Effect is worse as speed increases, above 70 mph is nearly unrecoverable.

This problem start in 12/2018.when driving on the highway, the vehicle will all of a sudden start shaking uncontrollable.the only way to rectify the problem is to slow down and pullover in the breakdown lane and stop.this option is sometimes not available and the situation is extremely dangerous. After spending a great deal of money this problem has not been fixed. Over the last several months, this situation has happened many, many times.i have read online about this problem, and it seems to be a issue that ford is well aware of.mulitple people have referred to it as the "death wobble".as recently as the past week i was experiencing this issue.i brought the truck in on monday, aug 26th picked up tuesday, aug 27th, drove off the lot, got on the highway and the "death wobble" happened again.this issue is very dangerous and i feel someone could get seriously hurt or even killed.i have spent $5,758.87 in repairs since december and problem still not fixed.tried downloading receipts, do not think i was able to download off of them

When i hit a smal bump in road travel 60 mph front end of vehicle vibrated violently as well as steering wheel out of control.could barely keep control of steering wheel.was on interstate highway had to come to complete stop

2014 f 250 superduty.on highway 75 mph came off over overpass at expansion joint to asphalt and truck stated shaking violently.let off of gas pedal and managed to get over to slow lane, problem straightened itself out on its own when i slow to about 25-30 mph.had tires checked and rebalanced.has happened a few more times, again same circumstances. From what i have seen online it's called the ford death wobble.taking to shop hopefully can make it safe again.

Front end death wobble. New tie rods- stabilizer-shocks tires and still does it when hitting bridge end dam- chug hole-bump in road or just rough road. What is the cure? chevy. Or gmc does not have this problem.

My 2014 ford f250 platinum diesel has exhibited death wobble on multiple occasions. I have experienced the issue at different speeds on the highway anywhere from 50 to 70 mph after hitting small bumps in the road. I have taken the truck to blaise alexander ford on multiple occasions to address the issue.the first time they replaced steering stabilizer and it was worse after i got the truck back, the second time they replaced the tie rods and gave it a front brake job, got the truck back and it was even worse, the third time they replaced the steering gear box.still no effect on the death wobble issue.i then drove the truck with their mechanic who told me it could be the shocks or the tires or maybe a spring or coil is broken.the truck is unsafe and ford needs to figure out how to fix it.the truck only has 70,000 miles on it.

Death wobble, safety issues, lost braking and limited steering at 65 mph..so far ford dealer in freeport il. Told me the only thing i can do is trade it in. Ford would not offer any fix for the problem. Truck has had no modification or any changes in configuration.so far i have changed two sets of brakes, twosets of tires and over 2k in steering links and rod along with steering stabilizer.

The contact owns a 2014 ford f-250. The contact stated that while driving approximately 50 mph and after driving over a bump in the road the front end began to shake, vibrate and wobble causing the driver to lose control of the steering and crash into a ditch. During the incident no injuries were reported. The contact was able to continue driving the vehicle. The failure had also occurred on several other occasions. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The local dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 140,000. The vin was unavailable.

My 2014 f250 has since around 80k miles had an uncontrollable wobble when at low highway speeds hitting even the smallest bump in the road. After multiple alignments and tire changes my dealer admitted that its known as "death wobble" and i need to do thousands of dollars in repairs that are very common. I am at 140k now and they finally admited that its a systemic problem

Death wobble started at higher speed. Has progressively gotten worse. Everything is tight in the front end. Changed ball joints both wheel bearings track bar and bushing and steering dampener and nothing has helped. Happened on 2 sets of tires.

2014 ford f250 vin # [xxx].the death wobble occurred 1st time on 11/3/19 with my son driving around 10:00 a.m.on 11/09/19 approximately 11:00 p.m with myself driving home.went over a bridge that was just replaced this summer about 3 miles from home on st, rt. 729, sabina, ohio 45169.about 1/2 from burristown rd. Which i turned to the right.i was slowing down for my turnoff and complete shaking of the truck.it has had a shake over bumps and bridges but nothing like the whole truck violently shaking. I have an appointment with bedford ford in washington c.h., 43160 on wednesday 11/13/19 to replace all 4 tires and to look at the front end.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

When in motion at highway speeds (60mph +) my truck will violently shake and wobble if a small bump is hit.it looses steering control and is not even close to safe.you have to come to a stop to get the shaking and out of control wobble to stop.

While driving at highway speeds, my truck experiences the "death wobble."if i hit a bump when traveling above 60 mph the front wheels wobble like a shopping cart and the front end shakes violently. The steering wheel shakes in my hands. These conditions continue until the vehicle is slowed down to 35-40 mph.

While accelerating on the entrance ramp to get on the highway, my 2014 ford f-250 superduty with 142,000 miles began to violently shake uncontrollably. I had barely reached 45-50 miles per hour when it happened. The shake was strong enough to throw my hands off the steering wheel. I was able to safely slowdown and pull the truck off the road thereafter. I am concerned about the drivability of this truck and have raised a concern with ford and the dealer that sold me the truck.

My ford truck typically experiences the death wobble when traveling more than 50 mph and at least one of the tires hits a groove or bump in the road. The only way i know to control the violent shaking is by quickly reducing speed, which is very dangerous in traffic

At high speeds hitting pot holes or bridge decks, front end wobbles uncontrollably. It's referred to as (death wobble) need to hit the brakes hard to stop it. Very dangerous. Ford knows about the problem and is turning a blind eye.crashing on the freeway at those speeds could be catastrophic. Some vehicles have as little as 20000 miles on them, mine has 51000. Just put new tires, front shots and steering stabilizer on it. Still have the problem. Please google (2014 ford f250 super duty front end issues). Us consumers are paying big, big money for these vehicles. $700000 in some cases. I paid 40000 and i'm afraid to drive it. All i want is for ford to face the fact's and fix it. Before some gets killed! i wrote to william ford at ford motor company a week ago but have not heard back. I can't stress to you enough what a dangerous issue this is. I would love to take my truck to the ford motor company and have jim hackett drive it, then i would be fixed. Just a side note, there was a consumer in silsbe texas that noted the service writer at silsbe ford said that she doesn't know why ford doesn't fix this because it is such a big problem. In closingplease, please, please look into this issue and hold fords feet to the fire. Thank you.

Driving at highway speed 65-70 mph on ca-99 on 11-30-2019 between bakersfield and fresno i experienced several "death wobbles." this vehicle was repaired for this problem at future ford in sacramento, ca. On 03oct19 by replacing steering damper and track bar. Also an alignment was done. Evidently the problem still persists on certain occasions.

At approximately 181,000 this vehicle exhibited "sustained steering wheel oscillation" (aka death wobble).the vehicle was taken to a non-ford ase certified mechanic and repaired per ford tsb 18-2268, but did not correct the problem.ford has claimed this vehicle is not on their list of vehicles subject to correction or mitigation.the only suspension modifications were aftermarket brakes and shocks (i.e. High quality components).the vehicle now has approximately 184,000 miles and still exhibits severe oscillations when traveling over a bump or rough surface, causing hazardous driving conditions and danger to other vehicles when a sudden slow-down or stop is needed to regain control of the vehicle.

My truck suffers from the death wobble that is usually triggered by hitting a bump, pothole or dip in the road.usually occurs when going full speed (50-75 mph).the only way to stop it is to slow down and pull off the road, nearly to a stop.this has happened about a dozen times.i note it happens more often when tires have more wear on them.rarely happens with new tires.

2014 f250 diesel experiences multiple 'death wobbles' while driving on highway at speeds over 60mph and passing over expansion joint on bridge or other like crevices. Felt like the front end was falling apart with violent front end shaking, had to slow down to 35 mph to regain control of the vehicle. Took truck to dealer and had to pay $150.00 for diagnosis. Ford claims all front end suspension parts need replacing as well as a front end alignment. The truck has just over 100k miles on it and is mostly highway miles. It's just out of an extended warranty and ford estimates the repairs at over $1,300.00 with no guarantees that this will solve the problem. This is a design flaw by ford. I've owned ford trucks for many many years and have never experienced this in any of the past super duty's that i owned.

Violent front end shake wobble. Any bump in the road causes the front end to shake violently. Have tried everything to fix with no change.

4wd front end shakes violently without warning around 50 mph.front wheels wobble on stock vehicle 37000 miles.have to come to a complete stop to make it go away.unable to turn left or right as its happening.almost killed my family.seems to be known as "death wobble" to the online community also seems to common to not be a issue.ford claims its a worn track bar bushing and would not fix this under my drivetrain warranty.experts claim it is design issue in the 4wd front end caster angle.has happend multiple occasions

When driving at 40mph and above, the pickup sometimes goes into a violent steering shake or "death wobble" as i've seen it refered to. A quick internet search reveals that this is a common problem among ford superduty pickups, and ford apparently has no remedy for the problem.

I was driving down the highway at approximately 65 mph and my left front wheel began to shake violently, wobble, and bounce out of control.i tried to apply my brakes and the condition got worse.i ended up in the oncoming lane's ditch by the time i was able to stop.fortunately there was no oncoming traffic because during this event i was unable to steer until the vehicle came to a complete stop.i've heard from other people that ford super duty's frequently have what is a called a "death wobble" and i would certainly consider this event to be the same.

Death wobble while driving on highway front end shakes uncontrollable.

Truck when it gets up to about 63mph or hits a pot hole ..small bump in road it does the death wobble, in other words the steering wheel shakes violently, the problem stated in june of 2018 as continues to this day

Death wobble

Vehicle will have violent shaking at highway speeds know as a "death wobble". Death wobble happened at different speeds and on different road terrains. This issues also happened when at highway speeds and braking around curves.

Multiple times before the occurrence yesterday , i would hit a bump and it would seem like the front of the truck would skip a little, replaced shocked and steering damper , 6 months later i hit a little bump going about 70 mph and the steering wheel started to shake vigorously and i almost lost control of the vehicle . This is very dangerous and needs to be addressed by ford especially since the infamous death roll has been affecting these vehicles for over a decade .

On interstate highway, hit a bump in the road and vehicle vibrated, shook violently and was difficult to steer. The vehicle had to slowed down to 50 mph from 70 mph to regain control by hard braking. This action put my life at risk in rush hour traffic. I will not drive this vehicle until this issue is resolved. This happened at 7 am in the morning.

While driving, i experience a severe and horrifying 'death wobble' in my steering wheel, at which time the entire front end of my truck violently shakes. It becomes difficult to control it and forces me to apply my brakes in order to regain control. This has been happening for about 8 months and happens often. It happens at various speeds. Nobody appears to know how to fix it.

I was accelerating up the on-ramp onto a freeway when i encountered some rough pavement on the overpass. The front of the truck began to shake violently. I had difficulty holding onto the steering wheel and the truck began heading toward the right side grassy median. I was able to slow by letting off the accelerator. I was afraid that braking might cause me to lose control altogether. At reduced speed the shaking stopped. Looking in my mirror i could tell that the driver behind me saw what was happening and had backed off some distance from me. I have felt the shaking several times since the original occurrence but it has not been as violent as the first time.

The contact owns a 2014 ford f-250. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 75 mph, the vehicle started shaking violently. The contact stated that the vehicle needed to come to a complete stop for the shaking to stop. The vehicle was taken to klement ford of muenster (1005 e division st, muenster, tx 76252) where the contact was unaware of the part needed for the repair. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred twice. The vehicle was taken back to klement ford of muenster 1005 e division st, muenster, tx 76252 where it was diagnosed that the steering stabilizer shock needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.

Door ajar warning light.light came on and would not go off, interior lights as well as headlights came on sporadically when motor was not running. Headlights came on when the truck was not running or occupied and this caused all power to drain from the battery. Dealer charged over $300. To repair door latch / switch assembly on driver side. This occurred october 1, 2016. Our local paper had an article october 4 indicating a coming recall on ford edge suv's 2011 to 2013 and the ford fusion from 2010. I feel these problems are related.

Truck when it gets up to about 63mph or hits a pot hole ..small bump in road it does the death wobble, in other words the steering wheel shakes violently, the problem stated in june of 2018 as continues to this day

When the truck hits a bridge expansion joint or a pot hole it's shakes violently losing control and pulls the steering wheel out of your hands. The dealership claims there is no problem and has never heard of such a thing.

Death wobble, became uncontrollable, shaking violently after going over spacers on a bridge under normal operating conditions

When driving at highway speeds and hit a bump in road or going over a bridge and driving over the bridge joints the front wheels/suspension go into an almost uncontrollable bounce/wobble.best way i can describe the issues is as if your tires were over inflated and the shock absorbers were missing. Vehicle has 48,000 miles and has been doing this occasionallyfor approximately the last 20,000 miles. This is a 2nd vehicle and gets driven mostly on highway.when googling whether ford f-250's have shock absorber issues, i ran into many reports of this wobble issue.

When i hit a smal bump in road travel 60 mph front end of vehicle vibrated violently as well as steering wheel out of control.could barely keep control of steering wheel.was on interstate highway had to come to complete stop

Death wobble

Thank you.

Front end death wobble. New tie rods- stabilizer-shocks tires and still does it when hitting bridge end dam- chug hole-bump in road or just rough road. What is the cure? chevy. Or gmc does not have this problem.

Death wobble while driving on highway front end shakes uncontrollable.

My 2014 f250 has recently had the condition described by numerous others as the ford death wobble. The truck has 35,000 miles and this dangerous condition just started.the first occurrence was on 12/9/20. Second on 12/11/20. Third and fourth occurrence on 12/13/20.the first two times the shaking was extreme, nearly jerked the steering wheel from my hands and could have easily caused an accident. The last two were less extreme but i still needed to slow way down to stop the shaking.all four times this occurred i was driving on straight, paved, roadway and hit a small bump in the road. The small bump set the shaking in motion. Approximate speeds were 60, 70, 65 and 65 mph in order of occurrence. I was driving alone each time this happened so do not have any witnesses to this condition.however, as stated above, hundreds of others have reported this same condition with f250 and f350 trucks.

When driving approximately 58mph on city roads or interstate a slight vibration starts and turns into an uncontrollable wobble in front tires and steering wheel. No way to power thru the vibration you have to come to almost a complete stop at times for wobble to stop.

Driving at 70 miles per hour on a state hwy my front end started shaking violently. It almost caused me to crash ,i applied the brakes but made it worse.finally was able to regain control and stopped.

My ford truck typically experiences the death wobble when traveling more than 50 mph and at least one of the tires hits a groove or bump in the road. The only way i know to control the violent shaking is by quickly reducing speed, which is very dangerous in traffic

Several times now, when driving at speeds above 55, when i hit a very small bump in the road the truck starts shaking violently. It is to the point that, you can not control it until you stop. The problem does not happen every time driven, but it does occasionally. It feels completely unsafe to drive on the highway.

Truck violently starts shaking uncontrollably on highway at high speeds. This occurs if hit a bump in the road, pavement/groove changes, accelerating up to highway speeds to merge or getting on the brake at high speed on the highway.the "death wobble" is the experience i have been having and is now becoming way to common for the daily commute.this is happening on daily travel and when pulling a trailer loaded with horses.purchased in 2016 with extremely low miles and the issue began showing in early 2017 and has since become more and more frequent and the safety of the vehicle is now uncertain every time i get in the vehicle.

The contact owns a 2014 ford f-250. While driving various high speeds, the vehicle exhibited the "death wobble". The contact stated that the vehicle shook violently while driving. Autonation ford torrance in torrance, california was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.

When in motion at highway speeds (60mph +) my truck will violently shake and wobble if a small bump is hit.it looses steering control and is not even close to safe.you have to come to a stop to get the shaking and out of control wobble to stop.

Violent front end shake wobble. Any bump in the road causes the front end to shake violently. Have tried everything to fix with no change.

My truck is at the dealership for the 3rd time for having the 'death wobble'. First time they replaced ball joints. Second time they replaced a bar and ball joints. It wasn't long till i felt the shimmy again. At this point i am afraid to drive it because i carpool my 3 grandkids around on a daily basis and i don't want to risk their lives.you never know when the death wobble is going to happen but it is usually when you are driving 55-70 mph and hit a slight bump in the road. The wobble is so severe you can hardly keep control. You have to hit your brakes and decrease your speed until the wobbling stops. This could prove to be fatal in heavy traffic. If you google the death wobble there is a lot of information on it and it has happened numerous times for several years. I can not understand why there has not been a recall on this. I dropped my vehicle off at the dealership yesterday and as of tonight i have not been notified by them. Can anyone tell me what would be a permanent repair for this problem?if there is not one then ford should have to buy back the vehicle and destroy it to prevent severe injury or death to someone. I love my truck but now it has proven to be unreliable and possibly dangerous.

Every time the trucks drives between 50 to 60 miles i experience the death wobble. This happens to me every day on the freeway.

Death wobble started at higher speed. Has progressively gotten worse. Everything is tight in the front end. Changed ball joints both wheel bearings track bar and bushing and steering dampener and nothing has helped. Happened on 2 sets of tires.

Death wobble- several times when traveling at speeds of 65mph or higher, the front of the vehicle begins to shutter and shake violently until the vehicle is slowed down to below 40 mph. Ball joints, steering damper, shocks, and tires have all been replaced however, the vehicle continues to perform dangerously at highway speeds.

Front end death wobble.

Vehicle will have violent shaking at highway speeds know as a "death wobble". Death wobble happened at different speeds and on different road terrains. This issues also happened when at highway speeds and braking around curves.

While vehicle is in motion, at approximately 60 mph vehicle begins to wobble violently. Truck is virtually uncontrollable until speed is reduced significantly. A quick google search identifies the problem as a worn out drag link. It also seems to be a common problem on many years of this vehicle.

When towing a travel trailer something seems to be bending hitch pins slightly.this is unnerving to say the least. It appears this could be a safety issue if the pinfails.

Was traveling on the freeway at 65mph and hit a bump, truck started shaking violently and almost lost control.had to slowly apply brakes and pull to side of road to regain control.it was like a death shake.the truck is a 2014 f250 with all of it maintenance up to date.

The drivers door latch froze this evening.i need to slam the door 20-25 times before the latch would latch and stay closed.this is after ford repaired the same door last year for the same problem.

Three times within a week my truck has experienced a sudden, violent shaking at highway speeds. There were no bumps in the road or any kind of sudden maneuver that started the shaking. All three times it happened while i was accelerating to highway speed. I have found that this is called "death wobble" and that it happens frequently to ford trucks as well as other vehicles. I am extremely concerned that this is a potential tragedy that appears to be deliberately overlooked. I hope to see a recall in the very near future.
