Airbag system had already been deployed and was not in the steering wheel and came fromfactory with air bag. Not informed of accident prior to purchase and also had no spare tire.

Dealer claimed when we purchased this vehicle that it had an airbag restraint. However according to my owners manual, it should have an srs marking on the center of the steering wheel. It does not. It also has an airbag indicator light on the dashboard, that should light up whenever the ignition is turned on. It dosent light up. I checked the fuse panel diagram to locate the fuse. It clearly indicates a fused location for the airbag circut. However upon examining the fuse panel, the entire section where the airbag fuse should be, is not there. Leading me to believe that it has been disconnected. I also know for a fact, that this vehicle has been in an accident. I found overspray on the moldings on the drivers side of the vehicle, and a 4x4 decal on the drivers side is missing from the rear panel. I truely believe that the airbag has been deployed, and it was not replaced. My owners manual says that it has one, but the evidence suggests it does not. I feel that if the dealer has purposely mislead us, and is knowingly compromising our saftey. He should be fined or his license should be revoked. I am also furnishing this information to the nys attorney generals office/ used car lemon law. In addition to this is my ongoing transmission problem with this vehicle that i previously reported to you.thank you.

Was traveling about 30mph on a side roadonsome black ice. Then, she slid off an enbankment about 200 feet and hit a tree. Upon impact, airbags didn't deploy.

At 12:00 position at 75mph drivers side airbag did not deploy, resulting in an injury.tt

Dt*: the contact stated in the past two years while driving at any speed with the cruise control engaged, the turn signals deactivated the cruise control. This occurred during half of the incidences of cruise control use. The vehicle was not driven very often therefore it was not taken to the dealer. During a long trip, the vehicle was pulled over by a police officer who indicated the tail lights were not working which included the running and turn signal lights. While testing the emergency flashers, the license plate lights began flashing. Two recalls were observed by the contact, #05v388000 and #06v286000 pertaining to the vehicle speed control. When the dealer was contacted, they determined the vehicle was not included in either recall due to the vin. The manufacturer was also contacted who recommended the contact call the nhtsa. The contact also expressed that the turn signal and the cruise control switch were both located in the steering column within the wiring harness.

The contact owns a 1995 ford f-250. The contact stated that there was a recurring failure with the fly wheel in which the fly-wheel had to be replaced continuously. The failure mileage was 78,955 and the current mileage was 86,760.

Radiator leaks from somewhere, there doesn't appear to be enough ant-freeze staying in the radiator. Dealer contacted and cannot duplicate the problem.

The oil pan is leaking oil in the vehicle. Please describe in more details.

Oil pan was never prepped for painting and caused rust and corrosion, consumer had noticed oil seeping from the oil pan when changing the oil, ford stated they would split the cost with the consumer, however consumer declined stating ford sold vehicle to him with sub standard equipment, now consumer tried to get this fixed and the district rep has withdrawn the offer and expects consumer to pay for the whole bill even though the defect was because of improper installation at time of assembly.

Vehicle in for oil change due to leakage. Mechanic noticed oil pan had rusted which caused the leakage. It had rusted from the inside to outside. It had to be replaced.

Engine oil leaks since the vehicle was purchased, dealer is unable to repair problem.tt

Oil pan has rusted from the inside out causing an oil leak.replacement of pan necessary.appealed to ford motor, no resolve.many parties suffer this same part fault.appears to be faulty metallurgy perhaps.dealers, oil change business' all agree ford motor has large problem with this rusting, failing deliema.

Over the course of 400 miles the truck lost 4 quarts of oil.

The vehicle is not provided with exhaust manifold gaskets which causes fastener failures causing exhaust leakage directly from the cylinders. The exhaust then enters the cab of the truck.

1995 ford f250 7.3l turbo diesel :cam position sensor failed after numerous, worsening experiences with erratic engine performance.sensor replaced by dealer on 12/07/2006 with truck barely able to continue running.this corrected the problem at the time, but i am now occasionally experiencing the same symptoms again.i have subsequently discovered that this is a chronic problem with this navistar engine.many ford vehicles have been recalled as a result, but mine has not, despite numerous vehicles of my model year (1995) experiencing this problem.

The vehicle has hadtransmission/and or electrical problems since it was purchased. Every few weeks the engine computer picks up a troubled code. The code is tcc/or torque converter clutch failure.the vehicle then goes into safe mode, and runs on predetermined values set by the engine computer.the transmission shifts extremely hard during this condition.(automatic e40d). The dealer has been notified, and has failed to correct the problem. I have taken the vehicle to 2 transmission shops, and they cant find anything wrong with the transmission. Since this has been an ongoing problem, my next course of action is to seek relief under the used vehicle lemon law.

Engine developed fire on right rear section of the engine near the turbo.does this truck have a history of engine fires?cause of fire is unknown.

Truck will not exceed 35mph, this has been a problem since purchase,no matter what you do it will not stop, shift down, acelerate, floorboard it,shift up or decelerate, about a mile later, motor changes tone and it runs right, had in shop no one knows how to fix./ jerking happens at 48 mph, and continues until exceleration, or decrease in speed. Had in shop no one knows how to fix. Both problems have cost us a lot of money.

Serpentine belt came off while driving at 65 mph, breaking fan blades.

Vehicle was at a standstill/ idling, and suddenly exhaust sounded like marbles, and turbo quit. Also, had to get rear main seal replacedtwice.brake rotors were warped, and transmission did not shift properly. Please add any additional information.

Repeated ford f250 exhaust manifold leaks.problem persist on 1990 & newer ford f250 pickup trucks.health problems to persons is a definite concern.emission environmental safety is a big concern.ford motor company needs to be contacted and research this problem for possible health hazards and recalls.throughoutthe various emission servicing companies, please note that this is commonly known problem withthe 1990s & newer f250 fords. Personnally, i have replaced one manifold on my 1995 f250 ford in sept of 97.and needing to replace a second manifold in december of 98. In researching this, i have found that it is not only a costly problem but also could be an environmental concern as some folks are fixing these manifolds problems by putting on headers instead.

No summary listed for above vehicle.

Vehicle was at a standstill/ idling, and suddenly exhaust sounded like marbles, and turbo quit. Also, had to get rear main seal replacedtwice.brake rotors were warped, and transmission did not shift properly. Please add any additional information.

Both brake rotors cracked on two separate accasions . Ford replaced the first bad set under warranty, but wont admit there's something wrong & wont replace them again.i've also got an exhaust leak that they temperarily fixed under waranty.

Exhaust manifold has a leak, located on the inside by the motor, not near muffler. When sitting fumes come through the air conditioner. Dealer contacted, and stated repairs can be made at consumer's expense.

When driving theexhaust manifold starts to make a hissing noise. The manifold has been replaced 3 times. Dealer says that there is a bad batch of manifolds.

Cracked manifold on each side in three places.

The dealer has replaced left and right manifols. This occured in 1997, 1998, and now in 1999. I was told by other ownners this may happen on my vehicle before it happened. This is third time, once just the gasket, one side was covered by dealership, the other side i had to pay out of my pocket @ $449.

The exhaust manifold had a broken bolt which caused fumes to enter into the vehicle.consumerhas not been involved in any accident to cause the bolt to break.exhaust manifold warped causing an exhaust leak which resulted in all exhaust to enter the vehicle's cab.

The vehicle is not provided with exhaust manifold gaskets which causes fastener failures causing exhaust leakage directly from the cylinders. The exhaust then enters the cab of the truck.

The "y" pipe has failed twice, allowing exhaust to enter the engine compartment. First took it to an out of town dealer who said he did not have parts to fix but warned me to keep fresh air coming into the cab..the local dealer replaced once and the second time said it was no longer covered and besides did not know how to fix the problem.suggested i take it to a private muffler shop who told me that ford was well aware of the problem, that it was dangerous because it would leak carbon monoxite into the cab and suggested i take it back to the dealer and push for a replacement.dealer gave me a form to fill out but have never heard back.i took vehicle to another dealer, and they told me a similar story and said if it was a california vehicle ford would stand by it, but because it was not, i would have to take it to a muffler shop and have a custom one built.they also warned me to be careful to keep air coming in thru the heater/ac so i would not get carbon monoxide poisoning and/or fall asleep.

Spare tire carrier missing.

The head lights on the vehicle are too bright oncoming cars can not see.tt

According to service tech at doersch ford in green bay wi, they have replaced several transmissions on these pick up trucks. He also said ford knows that this transmission was not strong enough for the diesel motor, and they have since redesigned the entire thing.

Transmission cooler plugged up. Local transmission shop told me this was a very common problem on ford trucks. This could have been prevented had we known of the problem. We could have put an after market cooler on the truck. Now, i was informed that it will cost me over $2000.00 to fix fords mistake. The warranty has expired because of time, not milage so i guess i am stuck. Please help.

Owner states while driving vehicle the slave cylinder is defective which causes the vehicle to stop at any time. Owner also notes that this part has been replaced 3 different times and the problem still occurs. The plastic around slave cylinder melts.

While startingvehicle , andsoon after shiftinginto second while clutch was still depressed, driver's back seat released, causingconsumer to lay down.as a result, consumer's foot released clutch, andvehicle started to travel forward while consumer was still laying down.a faulty bolt caused failure and caused lumbar brace to break welds, consumer was told he would be reimbursed, however was later refused due to mileage.

Occasionally while driving, clutch assembly slips.

Upon approachinga hill it is very hard to disengage the cruise control. Please describe in more details, consumer has contacted the dealer , dealer states that it is normal operation.

Master and slave cylinders keep going out and the two work together to make the clutch. Dealer cannot duplicate the problem.

Recently when i got in my 1995 f250 w/manual transmission i depressed the clutch pedal to start it up & the pedal went to the floorboard & stayed there. What i found after inspecting the clutch pedal was that the end of the rod that goes into the master clutch cylinder broke (this is connected to the peddle). This rod appears to be plastic on the end & metal going into the master cylinder. My concern is that this seems to be a safety issue. If i was driving this truck and this rod broke while i was trying to stop quickly (or stop at any time) then it would have been very difficult to stop since the clutch wouldn't have engaged. I have photos of this part as evidence if needed.

Clutch has failed five times, approximately every 20,000 miles.

Retaining clip broke allowing plastic rod that connects the clutch pedal shaft to the clutch slave cylinder to disengage.

Problem first came to my attention when i started noticing a clunking noise followed by the front 4 wheel drive hubs ingageing when proceeding from a stop. The problem is quite clearly premature ware, and possibly a safety problem.as the vehicle was technically off waranty (6 months), ford offered to pickup 1/3 of the cost, the dealer 1/3, and myself the remainder with little debate about it.ford however refused to pickup the remainder of the cost.

Rear differential cover is seeping oil.

Defect within transmission caused it to heat up and melt all the parts.

Brakes are defective, extended stopping distance occurs when brakes are applied. Dealer aware of the problem. Also, transmission makes noises and skips.*ml

I replaced the rear brakes on my 1995 ford f250. I put on new duralast brake shoes (part #358) from autozone. Afterwards, the emergency/parking brake failed. I took everything apart and took a while before i found the problem. At the top of the brake shoes there is a half circle where the front and back shoe meets and that is where the emergency/parking brake cam pushes the shoes apart. The oem shoes have a tall shoulder at the very tip top where the cam pushes against the rear shoe, the duralast shoe has a shorter shoulder and allowed the cam to slip over the top of the rear shoe causing the unexpected emergency/parking brake failure. *dt
