Have a 2015 ford f-250 lariat. Bought brand new. Around 40,000 miles a code came across the dash display hi'll descent/ traction control fault-. So in took it in to have them look at it. Got it back a couple of days later and they had told me they replaced some part and it should be fixed. As i was driving out the same thing cane across my dash again and went off. I went for a few days and it continued to come across my dash. Sometimes while i was driving and sometimes sitting. I did notice that when this would happen my remote start wouldn't work. Along with those issues my back up camera wouldn't work. It would say camera not available please contact dealership. This has been a continuing issue. My truck is in the shop now 1-25-17 and has been since last saturday. I called to check on the truck and they told me that there weren't any codes and they needed to keep until the codes pop up. The lady also told me that one of their service tech's truck is doing the same thing. No new news for getting it fixed other then they will call ford to see about another route. Also before this truck i had a 2012 f-250 lariat and my fuel system shutdown leaving me in the middle of the highway. When i got it towed to the ford place there were literally 3 other gentleman there for the same reasons. It cost me 8500 dollars and 1 month in the shop for repairs. A week prior to that i had it in the shop getting new filters and oil change. They told me i had too much water in the fuel system. But they changed my filters a week prior to this.

The contact owns a 2015 ford f-250 sd. While driving various speeds, the radio and bluetooth system became inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the computer system failed and needed to be reset. Also, the radio switches failed on the steering wheel. After the repair, the technician stated that the switches were active and more diagnostic testing was needed. The contact was later informed that the housing unit for the steering column housing needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired because the manufacturer stated that the parts would not be available until next year. The failure mileage was 13,200.

The truck runs very rough during a regen cycle.engine knocks and clatters with loss of power.

While driving down the high the dash display indicated it was start a exhaust clean cycle (regen mode).within a minute the vehicle began stuttering, loss of power and the engine began knocking.the vehicle lost 15 mph in a blink of an eye.a very dangerous situation while towing an rv.this lasted for about a minute.then the engine began to operate normally.this has happened multiple times since the first event.the last occurance was on august 16th. The vehicle has been taken to ford service for an evulation.

Defective primary radiator.this is a known problem by ford motor company for years, and millions of vehicles.there have been thousands of complaints, and even law suits over these defective radiators.

During regen cycle for diesel motor, vehicle begins to making a knocking noise and then begins to shake, and finally give feeling of losing power.because of this, fearful the vehicle could encounter this situation at times where it could pose great danger.this occurs at various speeds and driving conditions.issue was previously "addressed" in a bulletin from manufacturer; however, there is more to this condition.what vehicles don't idle or drive at highway speeds for a period of time or don't make short trips?most recent occurrence happened on 8/15/16, but has been occurring for the two months-- is getting progressively worse in lei ration and force.have taken to a dealership and they said they could find nothing wrong-- they didn't evenact like they knew anything about the issue occurring and they definitely did not mention the precious manufacture bulletin tsb 15-0088.have begun to research this issue and it appears an update was to occur in march 2016, but have not been notified of any issues?needs to be looked at closely to ensure it is not a design flaw or worse.

Re:2015 f250 sold to [xxx]vin #[xxx]a few months after purchasing a new 2015 f250 diesel, i began to experience something wrong.when traveling at a constant speed, the engine began to knock loudly and the entire truck began to vibrate.after taking my foot off the gas pedal and coasting for a short period (there is no power to accelerate during this time), the truck seemed to function normal again.there were no warning lights or messages on the dash.the problem is getting worse and more frequent; lasting longer and loss of ability to accelerate interrupts flow of traffic behind me.i held up traffic going up ms river bridge, and this past incident lasted for a 15 mile stretch.it is extremely unsafe.......information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Exhaust regeneration causes engine shake and loss of power. The last incident occurred when towing uphill and a semi almost took out the back of my trailer. Ford indicates this is normal, however, it did not do this when new. It occurred after approximately 6,000 miles and continues to happen. The dealer indicated they have not seen this before, so i don't believe "normal" applies here. If this is "normal," then ford engineers need to go back to school.

My 2015 f250 started vibrating and shaking during regen a little after 4100 miles on the motor. I drive the truck 85% of the time on the highway at least 45-60 minutes to work. Fords stance originally is that this is normal!?! they have now released a tsb stating that they know that there is an issue and that a fix should be out sometime in march 2016 with a recalibration for the dpf. In the meantime my trucks valves are sticking in the open position i'm sure causing engine wear/damage (root cause of the issue). Not sure how a recalibration on the emissions are going to fix crappy valve to guide clearances. Ford knows that it's an issue with current 2015-2016. $60,000.00 ruining like crap, thanks ford!

Within 60 seconds of the message "cleaning exhaust filter", the 6.7l engine begins to loose power, vibrating, and making very loud clanging noises.all while driving at 60-70 mph, causing a huge deceleration, down to 45 mph if going up an incline, due to lose of power.this started at 7,000 miles and happens at least 1 per tank of fuel.

Exhaust cleaning cycle causes extremely rough running conditions.severe engine knocking seems as though a piston will fly through the hood soon. Significant loss of power at any speed during this time. Brand new truck purchased from dealership and this has happened from purchase point all the way through 27500 miles so far. In reading i have found thousands of others that experienced the exact same issue.

I purchased my 2015 ford f 250 super duty in october of 2015 and have been experiencing issues from the start. Every time i had an issue and to have it serviced, i was sure to bring it to the dealership so that the experts hired by ford could correct my issue or service it regularly as i should. If the experts are servicing my vehicle, i expect them to first identity if there is an issue, second notify me or someone at the dealership of the issue and then correct the issue considering my vehicle is still under warranty. Now, a few months after purchasing this "brand new vehicle" it randomly killed on my wife while she's simply travelling the city streets of our small home town. After getting the truck started and getting my wife home safely, i drove it to the dealership where it was purchased. They assessed the vehicle and said, the fuel line was rusted. Rusted after having it for less than a year?? they also told me that it's not under warranty and wanted me to pay out of pocket! less than a year off the lot! it wasn't until i got the owner of the dealership involved that i was able to get my vehicle repaired after them holding it untouch for 2 weeks! now, as i was traveling one the interstate, over 500 miles away from home, im left stranded yet again! i had to have my vehicle towed to the nearest ford dealership! again, still under warranty so, not too worried about it; only to learn that there is another issue with the fuel line and ford is denying to cover it. The service guy at this dealership said the say as the one 500 miles away, "this is a recurring problem we see all the time." i want answers! i had to rent a car to get back home and now my vehicle is at a dealership 500 miles away and will not be repaired because ford has yet again, denied my warranty! i have every receipt from every service done only at the ford dealership and again, i want answers!

My complaint is ford has no warning system before it does $7800.00 damage. I reported this problem to ford motor corp. And its not covered under the factory warranty my casenumber is cas11721824.the ford dealership i took it to said ford used to have a design feature to shut down motor before it did damage to fuel system but the epa had them remove it and ford never put anything in to replace the warning feature. According to the ford dealership i had contaminated fuel that by passed the filters that i had changed according to fords recommendations. I have a report from the state of arkansas bureau of standards petroleum division and the fuel analysis shows that the diesel was not contaminated from the last place i fueled up. I regularly use the same auto lube to service my truck and was never told i had excessively dirty fuel filters and only had 7000 miles on the last fuel filter change before my engine light came on. I have investigated this problem and ford has had numerous complaints on this same problem. If ford has had this problem why haven't they implemented a safety feature to protect the fuel system before it does extensive damage costing the consumer this much to repair?

My truck only has 79100.3 miles on it its a 6.2 l gas a/t the problem that i have is first when the trans is warm it has a one to two second delay shifting into reverse then in drive it also has a delay shifting from third to fourth gear about a second delay then shifting from fifth to six gear it has a longer delay about two second are more delay and the rpm rise up to about three thousand before shifting with a hard shift almost like it goes into neutral . This all happens no matter what street your on going straight are turning .

Starts a bad wobble and shake with no warning at highway speed and feels like it is going to come off of the road. You have to slow to below 30mph for it to stop.

The truck has a wobble at 55 to 85 miles an hour.it has been in the shop 3 time and will f250 will shake so bad it hurt your insides.they have replaced traction control for and ball joint, drag bar and hardware, road forced balance the tires and still will shake your teeth out of your head

I have had this truck for less than a month.two time, when hitting a rough spot in the pavement, the front end of the truck began to shake violently from side-to-side, and the steering wheel also turns violently from side-to-side like it is going to rip your hands off.shaking does not end until you decelerate significantly.the first time was at about 45 mph in the city on a decent street.the second time was last night and i was going about 70 mph on a highway.in both cases, it didn't take a significant bump to cause the violent shudder or shaking.many, many other people have been reporting this issue for years.one suggestion is that it is a problem with the steering damper shock.

2015 ford f-250.consumer writes in regards to vehicle safety compliance certification tire pressure issues.the consumer stated it was recommended by ford to keep the tires at 80 psi for the rear and 65 psi for the front, even though the tires were identical. The consumer was concerned the front tires, were under-inflated.

Faulty def fluid tank heater, check engine light came on. Took to ford dealer only to find out my extended bumper to bumper warranty doesn't cover any def parts!my 2015 f-250 is just shy of the year on the recap they currently have.

Ford offers a 20 inch tire & wheel upgrade on 4x4 lariat trim (and others) but does not include the spare tire in the upgrade.spare tire remains an 18 inch with the outside diameter about 1 inch smaller than the road tires.this is unacceptable for adequate 4x4 performance, loaded handling, ride and steering security. This is a larger issue for 4x4 vehicles than it is for passenger cars.ford advertisesa "conventional spare" as standard equipment which is in fact sized the same as the road wheels. In the showroom, ford hides the fact that "upgrading" to 20 inch wheels downgrades vehicle performance and operator safety and security in comparison to the base vehicle. They don't even offer to upgrade the spare for a charge.i believe this issue is the same for the f150 trucks also.
