Near the end of the highway i was setting thru a light and decided to et fuel. Once i reached the turn in got to the pump all is well. I was not towing or hauling anything the day temperature is 66 degrees. I set at the pump for a minute on the phone and then turned the truck off. Proceeded to fill up and then depart. I started my truck removed the emergency brake at the same time my dash indicator lights all started in with height exhaust temp height oil temp all sorts of other lights along with engine system start failure. I pulled away from the pump for safety and then shut it off. That was it no start same warnings. After calling a wrecker twenty minutes went by and i tried it again and it started with a service engine light on. No dealer could get to it for two or three days so i drove it home to schedule an appointment. Had this happened six miles earlier i would have been in a bad spot.

The contact owns a 2014 ford f-250 sd. The contact stated that the check engine warning indicator illuminated. Medved ford (1404 s wilcox st, castle rock, co 80104, (303) 688-3137) diagnosed that the failure was related to customer satisfaction program campaign number: 18m01 (reductant heater and sender assembly repair); however, the dealer and manufacturer indicated that the vehicle was excluded. The dealer had not been authorized to repair the vehicle. The manufacturer was contacted and did not assist. The approximate failure mileage was 120,000.

Egt sensors keep failing.i have had all 4 replaced, and now have a check engine light on again to get another replaced.truck only has 82000 miles on it.

Front oil cover leakage. There are four trucks with the same problem at the dealer. The front cover bolt loosen themselves and causes a small oil leak that covers the front and bottom of the engine. This leads to multiple parts being replace that do not need replaced. After cleaning the engine and finding the leak, it is tightening four bolts that only three can be tightened by sight. The fourth bolt cost $4000 to tighten. This seems to be a known f250 issue.

I have had the truck on the dealership 3 times now for the exhaust gas temperature sensors. Have had all the sensors replaced twice and am now on my way back in for a fourth trip to replace them. The truck currently has 41k mi.

Letter from senator burr on behalf of constituent re 2014 ford f250 fuel system.the consumer stated he dropped the vehicle off at the dealer on january 26, 2015, with a low engine light, water in the fuel separator and a leaking radiator. When the consumer picked the vehicle up on february 3, 2015, the dealer stated the replaced the radiator.while driving on february 7, 2015, the vehicle went into reduced power mode and the reduced power light illuminated.the vehicle was towed to the dealer. An inspection revealed the entire fuel system needed to be replaced. According to the dealer, water in the fuel sensor was unplugged. The consumer stated that would explain whythe fuel separator light was on, when he picked up the vehicle.

2014 ford f250.consumer writes in regards to vehicle acceleration issues.the consumer stated from the very beginning, the vehicle needed to be accelerated to approximately 133 rpm in low gear to even move down a slight slope. It would only achieve 10.6 to 11.4 mpg of fuel regardless of city or highway driving. At approximately 5400 miles, the vehicle developed a very slight shimmy at a speed of 60 mph. On march 7 2014, while driving 75 mph. The consumer had to brake to reduce his speed to 60-65 mph because of traffic ahead, and when he did, the front end of the vehicle started to violently shake to the point, where he could barely control it.

High pressure fuel pump went out and sent metal through the fuel lines intothe injectors. I was driving down the highway when the pump went out and the truck shutdown while i was still moving. This isn't so much a safety recall but i have spoken to many other 6.7 diesel owners and the same has happened to them. Ford wants $9000 to fix and says this happens to a lot of the 6.7's . I am lodging the complaint in the hopes of your board enforcing a recall. That is my only reason

I purchased this truck 3 months ago, and exactly four days from the purchase date the truck has been malfunctioning, i bought a warranty from dealer, but when i took the truck in for service to find out what was happening i was told it was nothing and they took the engine light that was on off.a couple of weeks later the truck started hesitating so i took it in for a service and oil change and had the fuel filter changed to see if that was the issue, it only help for a short period, when i was traveling in alabama, the hose blew off and black smoke can out the back and i barely was able to control the vehicle, several mechanics looked at it and no one could figure out what was going on because no codes showed up. Bought a hose and dealership in alabama put it on, continued my trip, another three days passed by and the truck started to jerk and hesitate when i was on a steep hill, i put it in a lower gear but nothing helped i went to a diesel expert and it took him two day of examining the entire truck to find out it was the fuel system , there was metal shavings in the system and the whole system was breaking down, i just spent 50,000 dollars on this truck and was told this would cost 8500.00 to try to fix, the 6.7 power stroke fuel systemis defective, a ford f 250 should last should not break down like this. Someone is going to get hurt bad with this truck, dealers are knowing these trucks have problems and are still selling them. They are camouflaging the problemwith computer tuning and shutting off the emission system def, these items are being deleted and no one is telling us consumers until it's too late. I was driving and could have been killed when my truck basically stalled in the middle of the road and started to jerk back and forth

When attempting to get on freeway after being at rest area we suddenly lost all power fuel pressure and speed, at night as well now we were pulling a fifth wheel trailer and that's a little dangerose and scary since my father is 65 disabled and i'm disabled also we had to wait for hours truck just stopped and died, barely got off freeway. Whats weird is ford in livermore, california just put 165 hours into this vehicle fuel and other parts, now no truck trailer sits in family driveway and come to find out national warranty never registered also my dad was entitled to new vehicle after 6 days of not being fixed also 100 dollars an occurence and paid all expenses but that's not happening nit picking and allowance of the breach of contract contenues. Please help?????????????????????????????????????????

While driving on a residential street i needed to make a quick stop.the speed was about 25 mph.the distance was 15 to 20 feet.the vehicle should have made a complete stop but didn't resulting in an accident.i've been to the dealership on several occasions since i purchased the vehicle.the first visit i was told a part was needed and it was replaced.the other visits i was told nothing was found.i was attempting to locate a different dealership before the incident.

Driving on our driveway , i went to step on brakes and i had a very hard pedal and truck did not stop, it kept rolling.stepped on it several more times before i finally came to a stop and kept from going into traffic. It happened two times. Also when turning wheels will being stopped the brakes calipers are making loud chipping noises

I bought this vehicle in dec. 2017 with 17,000 miles on it, and it now has 30,000 miles on it. On feb 11,12 while driving in akron ohio at around 65 mph i hit a bump and the front end started shaking so fiercely i could hardly control the truck. My wife was with me and was terrified. If she was driving it she would have never been able to control it and would probably been involved in a horrible and most likely a fatal accident. My problem is that i'm finding out that this has been a problem for a while now and ford isn't doing anything about or as my dealership service department said when i dropped it of this morning, doesn't think it's a safety issue. This truck has done this numerous times in the 13,000 miles since i've owned it. I've had it looked at each and the place i took it to can't find anything loose, however the one time they replace the steering damper and that seemed to help for a little while. Something needs to be done, this cannot simply be a tire inflation issue which by the way i'm pretty religious about checking on a regular basis. Violent steering wheel wobble and cab vibration when hitting uneven surface driving at highway speeds (55-70mph.)when the wobble occurs, it is impossible to steer and the only remedy is to slow as quickly as possible to around 40mph for the wobble to go away and regain control.the mileage when it started was approximately 40k and has progressively gotten worse.now with 67k i have actually been forced off the road as i couldn't steer it away from the median.as soon as my speed dipped to approximately 40mph i regained control and was able to get back onto the freeway and proceed to the next exit for inspection.initial diagnosis is bad ball joints on both front end sides.be prepared to slow to 40mph quickly on a busy freeway if this ever occurs to you.

While driving down the interstate i hit a small bump and the "death wobble" started. I have taken the truck into a shop and they have had me replace tie rod ends, track bar, and drag link all with no change. I have also balanced rotated and aligned the truck also with no change. I have looked online and have seen many other complaints with others being at a dead end for what to have fixed or looked at next. I am to the point that i am becoming scared to drive the truck at highway speeds. First happened september 2016

I experienced death wobble at 70 mph going over a bridge expansion joint. Had to hold the wheel with both hands and get down to 25 mph before i could regain control. My 2014 has 75,500 miles. Just ordered new tires and got exact replacements as i don't want to give ford an excuse. This is my 12th ford and now have a vehicle my family is not allowed in for $45k. I have had many steering and suspension parts wear out and get loose in other fords, but never has any wear forced my off the road and not allow my family in the vehicle. If ford doesn't fix this problem i will have a new gmc in a couple weeks. I have calls out to the owner of my local dealer, but no response ye

2014 ford f-250 6.7l lariat super duty - 73,000 milesi purchased it about 55,000 miles. 100% stock, no lift or anything like that. It started a shimmer in the front end of the vehicle when going over small bumps in the road going over 55mph. I now get a tremendous shake, ie probably the "death wobble" and have to slow down to 20mph for it to stop shaking before it takes me off the road. I lose full control until it stops. I rotate my tires with each oil change and always make sure it is properly aligned.once it happened when hauling my 40ft 5th wheel but luckily i had a quiet interstate and was able to hold on for dear life until i got it all slowed down, this happened going 65mph driving straight. This has now happened 5 times in the last 9 months / 10,000 miles. Most miles are put on going under 55mph so i'm sure it would happen more if i was driving at higher speeds.this issue is definitely not normal and needs to be addressed by ford before someone gets hurt.

My truck at around 15000 miles had some wobble after hitting bumps on highway. I took it in for its 25000 mile check up and stated this as well as poor economy or 1 or so. They said nothing was wrong... Well at 27000 miles it was shaking so violent i demanded it be brought in for service it was going to kill someone! groove ford looked it over (who bought it from) and said the entire front end was worn out and was not covered because now it was 40 day past the 3 year. Even thought they told me to wait, and it was 9000miles under the millage!! i finally got ford to pay for 2000 and the groove ford paid nothing i paid 700. They very day i got it back i was then hearing a noise turning sharply left on steering wheel rotation. I was told that another $700 and nothing to do with what they did. They sold me a after market warranty that they never intended to honor and did not cover my problems. Which should be fraud. Every ones always gone or on vacation. Still no refund on it and now i look to trade in the problem.

Right rear door ajar, according to ford dealer this is an issue with all the trucks if the owner's do not use the doors all the time. It is a $300.00 part plus labor, if ford knows about it then they should recall and fix the issue. I opened the right rear door to put groceries in the back seat of the truck and the light on the dash came on, when it is on the interior and exterior lights stay on for 12 minutes when the vehicle is shut off and the right rear door ajar light stays on the dashboard.

Front suspension death wobble.i was driving 70 mph hit a small series of bumps on the highway the truck started to shake so bad i could not keep it in mylane.i ended up crossing two lanes of i-70 and into the median before i could get the truck back under control.truck was not damaged but this is a serious safety issue with this truck that needs to be addressed before someone is actually killed.i will not drive this truck until this gets fixed but its something that ford needs to cover and address

I have a 2014 f250 and i was driving on the highway when the check engine light came on at 106k, when i had it checked it was reading code p20ba. I know there is a recall for this code for thedef heater redundant on years before and after...when will there be a recall for this year as well. I had to have it replaced at the dealership.

Currently my f250 6.7l diesel engine has a cel code of p20ba (reductant heater). During an extensive search on this part, it was discovered that the reductant heater was built by bosch and similar variants were installed in vw, gm, benz, and other diesel manufactures. Volks wagon has already increased the warranty of this part as it is prone to failure. Ford has yet to make a stb or a recall notice to service and repair this vital emissions component. While searching several 6.7l ford truck forums, i learned that this is a reoccurring issue in many 6.7 trucks. It seems odd that a truck with 70k miles that is not used for commercially purposes, has failed within the first 3 years ofthe vehicles life. Nationally this repair, if done by a ford dealer, is approximately $750. The cost of deleting the def system, though a federal crime, is $1,200 dollars. If the cost to remove equipment that is prone to failure, can increase the life of the engine, and costs slightly more than more , individuals will begin eliminating their def systems. A recall and replacement of these heaters would serve and benefit the diesel community.
