I currently have 122,000 miles on my truck and it's all stock, even the tires are the same type as oem. For over 2 years and about 60,000 miles i continually have the same dash warning lights come on; hill decent control & advanced track. The bad part about this is that they don't just come on and remain as active system warnings, they will flash on, alert me, then go off and then come back on. So when i click "ok" to silence them, they only stay silenced for that occurrence. So when they go off then come back on, it alerts me again and again, and again. I've been on road trips where it will continue this the entire road trip. There is no established or average time that the stay on, it's random. When these alerts appear, while they are active the airbag light comes on. I don't get an alert that the airbags are in fault, i just get a dashboard light. So i can only assume that the airbags aren't working while these faults are active. I've taken it to ford dealers multiple times for this while it was still under warranty and they claim that no fault codes appear and that they couldn't duplicate the issue. I've even had a dealership try to charge me for this. I took it to one dealership and they said it would be a $100 diagnostic fee to attempt to find it. I mentioned the safety issue but they didn't seem to care. Upon request i can provide pictures of my dash while they are active and possibly dealership receipts where they documented it.

Attempted to start vehicle using the remote start feature and the truck started for about 10 seconds then shut off. After several attempts to restart the truck i had to get the dealership to tow it in and perform necessary repairs, which just happened to be another egt sensor.

The contact owns a 2012 ford f-250 sd. The contact stated that the egt 14 sensor failed to function properly. The failure occurred twice. There was no warning indicator of "stop safely now" along with five chimes sounding as indicated in the owner's manual. While driving approximately 70 mph, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who replaced the egt sensor. In addition, the vehicle stalled while on an off ramp exiting the highway without warning. The diesel exhaust warning indicator stated that the fluid was low; however, when the contact checked, it was full. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and all the sensors were replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The failure mileage was not available.

After driving for 5minutes a warning light came on for the rear locking differential- no change in the drivability.about 5 minutes after that the computer started flashing different symbols indicating many problems- the alarms were going off non-stop- then the engine was shut down by the computer.this truck is heavy and i may have caused an accident when it happened because i had to use all my strength to keep it on the road and went into the other lane!if this happened while towing a load on one of the mountain passes i could have been seriously injured or killed- and hurt or killed others!ford has had bad diesel engines since they dropped the 7.3 years ago and are ripping off people in this country- please don't let someone die over a known problem.seems cheaper for ford to put us in danger by shutting down this engine and therefore not replacing the engine and computer system.

Caution light came on advising me to safely pull over and stop. I pulled over into a gas station and the truck stalled as i was coming to a stop. Engine would not restart immediately. I checked oil level and everything looked fine. After approximately 10 minutes the truck restarted and i drove strait to the ford dealership in huntsville, alabama about 15 miles away and they replaced an egt sensor.

While traveling i-10 west near crestview, fl at approximately 70 mph, i received a ford diagnostic screen notification to stop vehicle immediately.i pulled over on the side of the interstate and slowed the truck to a stop. The engine shut off immediately when i fully stopped. I attempted to restart the truck, but the truck engine would not even 'turn over'.there was no additional information provided by the ford diagnostic screen.i was stranded on the side of the interstate with family members and luggage at 8pm on a sunday night, and 2 hours from home (mississippi).i had the truck towed to the nearest ford dealership.the next day, the dealership informed me that it was a egt sensor failure. This is unbelievable that a failed sensor would leave me stranded without a previous warning stating the shutdown would occur. At least the truck pcm should notify and allow me to put myself and my loved ones in a safe place if the truck was to be automatically shut off.

Vehicle has had random times when it just cut off completely or it is unable to start.this has been ongoing since the vehicle was purchased used in 2015.dealer has recently identified a defect in the brb but the repair expense is exorbitant due to time involved.

I was driving my son to school and as i approached the entrance to the school the alarm chimed. I slowed down on a busy 4 lane street to turn into the school parking lot. As i tried to accelerate the truck shut off leaving me sitting in the middle of an intersection with a 3 year old in the backseat in a car seat. I tried to restart the truck before the oncoming traffic reached us, to no avail i got out and started to push the truck and 2 pedestrians ran across the street to stop traffic and help me push the truck out of the street so we wouldn't get hit. When i called ford they said nothing could be done to get the truck started until the egt exhaust sensor was replaced and they were on back order for 2 weeks. After calling the dealership i purchased the truck from (out of state) they offered to overnight one to the dealership that would repair the truck. After discussing this with several members of the local dealership team including the service manager they miraculously found a sensor in a nearby town to replace the following day. We easily could have been in a serious accident if the truck would have stalled while oncoming traffic were closer. This is a safety hazard and needs to be addressed.

Driving, had just pulled into a parking lot so was out of traffic truck engine stopped.no re-start. Had towed to ford, replaced 4 egt sensors

Windshield wipers were locked on when the vehicle was on. Independent of weather.no way to turn off until electronic switches that control the wipers, blinkers, and high beams were replaced.problem started on the highway in motion. Rt 89 n vermont.continued untilled repaired. Part number was sw-6874.

Driving on a highway at about 65 mph ,my truck stoped running. The computer said it was low on oil,it was not. This happened approx. 6 more times before i got home. I didn't where a ford dealer was so i took my truck to a truck repair shop, the truck stopped 3 more times. They fixed a wireing problem in the engine compartment, thay charged me 526.58 for the repairs. Ford would not reimburse me. Has this been a problem?

I was driving my vehicle east on the highway in miami (sr-836 just before nw 107th avenue) and it gave me a message to "stop safely now".i pulled over immediately and had the truck towed to gus machado ford of kendall.the repair ended up costing me over $700.my son did some research and found out there was a recall query (rq-14-005) sent to ford on february 5, 2015.i just wanted to be added to the list of affected owners and would like to be added to any e-mail or mail distribution lists.

Stop safely now:when this happens the engine will shut off and you have to roll as far as you can to hopefully get off the highway. I am an experienced mechanic and driver of "not so great running vehicles" as i have test and tune them to see what the issue is to repair them. E.g. No brakes, no power steering, non working fuel pumps...etc. With that said, i do not think an inexperienced driver of a non working vehicle would do so well in this situation and could end up possibly harming others as a result. I just knew for sure this would be on the recall list for safety issues and to find out ford has issued a recall for "emergency vehicles only". My question is... Who says a personal vehicle is not ever going to be an emergency vehicle for your family, friend or a coworker. Come on ford, if your customers buy a 65,000 truck shouldn't they have the comfort of trusting the vehicle will not strand them dead in the middle of a highway or stop running if they are taking someone to the er...ford did repair my truck under warranty, but, i think this could have all been avoided if the recall was out for all vehicles with this issue.

Vehicle stalled and stopped running in traffic on highway 231 in montgomery al. About an hour after, second incidence of violent front end oscillation [see previous complaint (odi number) is: xxx59219.called ford roadside assist.i have 125k extended warranty and had vehicle towed to nearest ford dealership. There were no warnings of any kind from on board diagnostic systems . Vehicle was diagnosed with "evidence of water in fuel system" . There was no water present in system , no "water in fuel system" warning light ,has never lit up on this vehicle , had it checked in the past ,was told was functional], was told repairs were "not covered " .all service has been done to ford specifications and at ford facility. These repairs would not be necessary if the warning system was operable . I am in a business that sells, operates and uses diesels every day and all modern diesels have water in fuel sensors . Case is still open with ford customer care . This needs documentation . There would have never been an issue if the trucks systems were operating properly. The repairs are more than i can afford for a truck that is under warranty. This is clearly a system failure .

The contact owns a 2012 ford f-250 sd. The contact stated that while driving at an unknown speed, the "stop safely now" message illuminated and minutes later the engine would stall. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the exhaust gas temperature egt sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 38,000.

The radiator has a leak at 59,200 miles.this should be a recall!

The contact owns a 2012 ford f-250 sd. The contact stated that the accelerator pedal failed to respond while the vehicle was in reverse. Prior to the failure, an unknown sensor was replaced by the dealer. The gear was shifted into drive and the vehicle was driven to the driveway. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. In addition, coolant leaked from the reservoir into the valley of the engine and the four power door locks would intermittently unlock when driving. On a separate occasion, in extremely cold weather, the engine failed to start. The vehicle failed to restart and was towed to the dealer. The contact was uncertain of the repair that was performed. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 20,000.

I have experienced twice now with my 2012 f-250 super duty with the 6.7 diesel engine. On friday january 22nd and was similar to a previous event involving a sudden and unexpected acceleration of my truck while in drive. Both instances have occurred from the truck being in a parked position with the engine off. Upon starting the truck and shifting into drive, i begin to pull forward approximately 20 to 40 feet and prepare to stop prior to entering traffic or repositioning. The truck will suddenly accelerate and lunge forward. Fortunately in both instances my right foot is lightly on the break preparing to stop when this happens. I immediately depress the brake with a constant and hard pressure as the truck's rpm is in the 2500 to 3000 range and i can feel the truck wanting to surge forward. The first time this occurred i happened to be pulling up behind my son who was in his vehicle and very nearly missed crashing into him. I had to immediately shift into neutral and shut the truck off.on the second occasion i was repositioning around a vehicle when again the truck unexpectedly accelerated and i came with 6 to 8 feet of impacting a concrete light post base. Upon shifting into neutral the truck revved up to approximately 3500 to 4000 rpm and again i shut the truck off.after both instances the truck was restarted and appeared to drive normally.in both cases the service center was unable to identify the cause and related that they did not find any 'error codes' or other electronic recorded events relating to what i have experienced and again the pcm was reprogrammed. The truck is still under warranty and currently has only 20064 miles on it.

This is a diesel engine f250.egt sensor failed and engine immediately shut down in the middle of the road. Cel was on and message said " stopsafely now". The failure of the egt sensor was known by dealer and he showed me 2 tsb s on the problem. Problem was fixed in 2 days but the safety aspect of this failure has not been addressed by ford. A almost immediate shutdown of the engine without warning is very dangerous. In out case we were in town on a side street but what if this had occurred on the interstate or going up or down on a mountain road or towing a trailer, etc.. We do all this and now that we know we have a over protective computer waiting to kill the engine at its whim we feel much less secure. The computer should give adequate warning before a shutdown and probably should include a limp home option.

Radiator leak from drivers side lower portion. Same as previous model year issues. Ford currently warranties earlier production, but will not extend to 2011 and up. Truck has only 56000 miles on it. Leak occurs after vehicle has reached operating temperature and is parked and/or turned off. Inspection conducted by ford discovered tank crimping has failed and truck needs a new radiator. I am not the only one with this issue, but still nothing is being done to correct it.

My truck is one of many that have a primary radiator that leaks from the drivers side.

On the first day of an extended trip with our truck and rv, we arrived at camp to discover a major coolant leak. The truck did not give us any warning messages that anything was wrong. We had the truck towed to the closest ford dealer. Thank goodness this problem happened in camp, rather than on an isolated road where we could have been 100+ miles away from any sort of service. It turned out that both the water pump and radiator had failed, with under 29,000 miles on the truck. The water pump was covered under warranty, but the radiator was not. The ford service manager advised us that they had already replaced several radiators this year, with leaks in the same place (driver's side lower corner). We also did some checking on the internet and learned that this failure seems fairly common. The radiator should not have failed in such a short amount of time, with limited miles on our truck.

Traveling down the highway at 55mph with cruise set and hit brake to turn corner. Engine immediately died with subsequent loss of power brakes and steering--scary because it happened at a critical time while turning a corner on a highway. Absolutely no warning--engine seemed fine prior. Truck would not start. Towed the dead truck to nearest ford dealer in wellington, ks. High pressure fuel pump failure was the diagnosis. Evidently when this happens, metal filings from the shredded pump take out all the injectors, fuel rail, pressure regulator, and also sends metal filings into the fuel tank via the return line. Ford corporate, not the dealer mind you, claims this failure is a result of fuel contamination in spite of the fact that there are 2 fuel filters and a water separator in the system and they were well maintained. Repairs are estimated at $8000 + and ford has refused warranty saying it is not their fault. The "fuel contamination" claim by ford may not even be accurate as their "diagnosis" was made from a picture of the failed part. No fuel tests by ford were conducted although i did retain a sample of the fuel. No specifics were given by ford as to what type of contamination either--they just state "contamination". I have no idea if they are talking fluid or solids.just whose fault is it when the fuel filtering system designed by ford fails to filter out contaminants? they are denying warranties to thousands of consumers like me, plus they put me in danger with a known issue they fail to take responsibility for--and my government is letting them get by with it. To my knowledge they are continuing to build these 6.7l diesel engines (it is now august of 2015 as i write this) with the same high pressure fuel pump failures staring the next consumer in the face and pocketbook. Shame on ford--and shame on the rest of us for letting them get by with it...updated 11/05/15

Driving 65 down road with light acceleration.truck had been running approximately 20 minutes.message comes on instrument panel that states "stop safely now".there is no other warning or message.slow down to pull over and truck dies at 10mph.no power steering or brakes.tow it to the dealership.told that it is a faulty egt sensor and they have seen a ton of these.there are 4 sensors on the exhaust system and if one goes bad it will disable the whole truck.replaced sensor and not covered as recall or warranty.this is extremely dangerous as depending on the surroundings it could cause injury or death being stranded on road from a sensor, when there are 3 other redundant sensors.

Egt exhaust gas sensor # 2 on 2012 f250 - i had no warning that the sensor had gone bad - truck had to be towed - i'm concerned that this could happen again when i'm towing my trailer and that i won't be able to get safely out of traffic - i often travel to national parks where i have no shoulder or cell service or am not near a dealership - i would be stranded with my familyi had to pay have this sensor replaced - may have to pay for tow service as this issue is not covered under extended warranty or as a recalli feel that this issue should be covered under warranty or as a recall as it is a safety concern if one cannot safely get out of traffic - there are 4 sensors - perhaps one sensor should be used as "spare" so that truck doesn't just "stop" and leave one stranded - how many accidents has this issue caused? is this a safety issue similar to gm that has just now been addressed after several accidents and deaths?i sent the following e-mail to ford. I was told that they do not keep records on these type of problems after the 50,000 warranty has expired. I was told that if enough of these concerns were "registered" with you then you would notify ford of a recall if warranted.the same thing happened again on 9-12-14. Egt sensor #4 failed this time.

While backing out a parking space, the engine died and a red warning was displayed "pull over safely". The engine would not restart. The engine is a 6.7 liter powerstroke dieselthe vehicle was towed to the dealer by a ford contract towing agency and tested.the problem was a faulty egt 12 sensor. When this failure occurs, it immediately shuts down the engine, which "kills" the power steering and power brakes.the dealer told me that the failure is a known problem and can occur at any time without warning, although unlikely.theyhave had several occurrences of the problem at this dealer alone. As this can occur at anytime and situation, i believe that a recall should be issued.

While driving my truck on a busy side road, the message center flashed a warning, "stop safe soon". A audible chime was heard and the truck shut off. Complete lose of power brakes, power steering. I was not able to get the truck off the road completely since it happened so fast. Traffic was stopped in both directions while we did our best to push the 7,500 pound truck to the narrow shoulder. Since the shoulder would not fit the entire truck, it was basically half in the road. Traffic has backed up and we had to wait close to an hour for a tow truck. After speaking with the dealer, he told me the truck has a bulletin out about a faulty egt exhaust gas temperature sensor. This small sensor fault shuts the truck down and will not allow the engine to run.

The contact owns a 2012 ford f-250 sd.the contact stated that while driving at approximately 70 mph, the stop safely now warning light illuminated as the vehicle independently decelerated. The failure recurred and the vehicle stalled, and failed to restart. The vehicle was towed to a dealer for diagnosis and the mechanic stated that the egt exhaust sensor needed to be replaced.the vehicle was repaired.the manufacturer was noticed of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 58,000.

This is the 4th time this has happened with this vehicle.the truck flashes a code "safety shut off".it is related to the egt exhaust temp sensor part of the emissions controls.after it flashes the truck will shut off with no warning, no time to move out of traffic. The truck will not restart and the starter will not engage. I have had this happen 4 times and each time i was lucky to avoid an accident.this is a programming error i believe and is a problem ford must address. Someone is going to die or be injured if this is not corrected!!i repeat there will be an accident!please understand that this is problem that is happening to other ford truck owners.please respond to this.

The contact owns a 2012 ford f-250 sd. The contact stated that while driving approximately 63 mph, the reduced power and the check engine warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a second dealer, who diagnosed that there was an unknown substance in the fuel tank. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 18,877. Updated 01/23/14*ljupdated 01/26/15

The high pressure fuel pump failed.i have taken the truck to two different dealerships and they have said the same thing.they are saying that it is a fuel issue but the pump on the truck isn't equipped with the incorrect fuel pump for the diesel that is sold in the us.i have spent just about $2000.00 just fighting the warranty company to fix the truck i drove for 10 days before failing.the truck has been in the shop longer than i have had it.

The contact owns a 2012 ford f-250 sd. The contact stated that the rear center seat belt failed to retract. The occupant was able to secure out of place with the seat belt fastened. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the failure was unable to determine the failure. The mechanic stated that the seat belt would only retract when the brake pedal was depressed or an impact occurred.the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 7,000.

Ford dealer reviewed squealing and determined the brake calipers were sticking. This problem is noted in a tech service bulletin from ford for model year 2011.dealer indicated this problem has been noticed on other f250 model year 2012 but no tsb from ford. Dealer replaced calipers on all wheels.

Loud squeal from wheels when starting from parked location.subsequent investigation by technicians at ford dealership service showed that brake calipers were sticking.this problem is same as found on same model in 2011.

The vehicle has 34,000 highway miles on it. This issue first began on i95 @ 29,000mi. When hitting a bump, such as bridge expansion joint, the vehicle begins to shake uncontrollably. The brakes do not work properly when this happens because the tires are bouncing off the road surface causing abs activation. The shaking gets worse until it comes almost to a stop. Very dangerous on the highway in lane 1 at 75 mph with cars all around. The problem is related to the track bar. This problem is unsafe and well documented on sites such as youtube. The track bar issue does occur on solid axel 4x4 vehicles with high mileage (200,000) but not on low mileage trucks like my f250. I have replaced track bar ball joint and problem was fixed but has now wore our again causing a recurrence of the issue. Very dangerous effecting steering and braking. I can send video of this occurring if needed.

Brakes are spongy have blown through stop light twice without time to pump brakes. Dealer replaced front calipers resurfaced rotors and replaced pads at my expense no improvement.pedal travels 1/2 to 3/4 to floor on initial braking without significantly slowing vehicle, better each time you pump brakes.while towing trailer gain has to be on full so trailer brakes can help stop vehicle, vehicle brakes are insufficient.took truck back to ford of kirkland after spending $1000 and was told braking is normal, drove a friends 2011 f250 and brakes are much better.the lack of response on the pedal has created more than 1 near accident and should be addressed by ford fully as a safety issue.the lack of brake pedal response is consistent regardless of type of driving or speed and has been on going since about 36,000 miles.truck currently has 48,000 miles.

While traveling east bound on interstate 10 crossing over siegen lane, truck passed over small bump in interstate and started to violently shake the entire truck almost to the point of no control. I immediately pulled over to inspect my truck. There was no damage and all tires were in good condition. When i started again the vehicle was fine. This was the first of 12 incidents of what i have come to know from research as the "death wobble". I have taken my truck the the ford dealership on numerous occasions and have spent thousands of dollars to correct the issue to no avail. The problem persists and ford cannot figure out the issue. This is the most unnerving experience. This was a $70000 vehicle which has been kept up to date on all maintenance and repairs. The vehicle has not been wrecked or ever take off road. This is obviously a defect in engineering and seems to be a common problem with this model truck.

The contact owns a 2012 ford f-250 sd. While driving various speeds, the vehicle hit a bump in the road and the contact lost control. The vehicle was maneuvered to the shoulder of the road. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that a front tie rod end failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred the following day. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 68,000. Updated 05/17/16*lj

At speeds between 40-60 mph the front of the truck shakes/vibrates violently. The truck becomes dangerous and is no longer steerable unless you stop completely.

Several times, after hitting a small bump in the road, generally at speeds over 50 mph, i have experienced an extreme "shimmy" in the front end of the vehicle causing limited control. I took the vehicle to the dealer for repairs, however, they could not determine the cause and after replacing several parts they were still not able to resolve the problem. I took the vehicle to a private repair shop and had several other parts replaced and still no resolution to the problem. Balancing and tire pressure have been maintained by the dealer as well as other certified mechanics. Due to the loss of control when this wobble occurs, i am afraid to drive the vehicle

Vehicle mileage approximately 70,000. At speeds between 35-65 mph any minor bump will cause truck to begin to vibrate throughout the steering system and subsequently wobble violently. Applying the brakes makes it worse until the truck slows down below 35mph. The truck is not able to be steered during this event.i have taken it to several reputable mechanics and they have assured me this discrepancy is in many f-250s and no one has the complete solution.i contacted ford motor company customer service and they have no interest or expectation of a recall.they did tell me to take it to a ford dealership for repair.the local ford dealership gave me a quote to replace- tie rods, tie rod ends, ball joints, drag link, and 'steering components'. They said it was the second truck brought in this week.the would warranty the parts but not the problem and this would help eliminate which components were the culprit.so in effect i'd be paying to rebuild the front end and not necessarily fix the most dangerous experience in i've had in a vehicle. Nhtsa please do a recall on this vehicle and help hold ford accountable.

Death wobble - have been experiencing violent shaking and instability while at speeds of 55-65 mph. Steering wheel can almost be shaken out of my hands with a tight grip.solution is to slow to below 25mph.then start over.wobble starts sometimes on its own or if hitting small uneven surface such as bridge/road joint.

Traveling on highway approximately 60, hit a small blemish in the road, and front end started a violent shake, had to pull over and stop for shake to quit. Has happened multiple times since.

Clear and dry road conditions. Factory truck. Driving at 65 mph with steering wheel slightly turned to the left, the road made a transition from concrete to asphalt with a slight rise in road surface and the commonly worded "death wobble" took over violently and rapidly pulling my steering wheel back and forth until i eventually brought the vehicle to a stop as it the truck took itself into the median. Under nearly the exact same conditions around 100 miles later also ending with the vehicle in the median.

On highway driving about 55 mph lost control of vehicle no death wobble they speak of but went into next lane over and could not control truck until speed was lower. This happened at least three times already sent it into shop front end tight had all the tires replaced front end aligned still pulls left and right.

The contact owns a 2012 ford f-250 sd. While driving approximately 45 mph, the vehicle started to wobble violently. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The contact mentioned that the only way to stop the wobble was to reduce the speed. The contact also stated that the failure occurred one other time. The vehicle was taken to kenly ford inc (500 s garner ave, kenly, nc 27542) where the steering arm and torsion bar were replaced, and an alignment was performed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 80,000.

Driving straight down the expressway and car started to violently shake.slowed down and exited highway, once to 20mph it stopped.pull off and checked under carriage for any signs of problems.noting found.drove to dealership where i told them the issues.they stated "oh that is called the death wobble, it is on all the new ford trucks"spent $600 to stabilize front end but no guarantee that it would be fixed.this is well known problem about ford f-250 and f-350 trucks yet they do nothing about it.

The contact owns a 2012 ford f-250 sd. The contact stated while driving at speeds over 60 mph the front wheels of the vehicle would suddenly began to shake and wobble. The contact indicated that the steering wheel would also vibrate and the vehicle would become difficult to steer. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who was unable to diagnose the cause of the failure. The steering stabilizer and the track bar bushings were replaced but the defect was not remedied. The manufacturer was not notified of the defect. The failure mileage was 22,000.

After hitting patched portion on road front wheels began to shake violently. Steering wheel shook. Stopped vehicle and inspected. Saw no damage so i continued to drive. I then took to local ford dealer for repair.not finding anything as of this date 8/30.

Dramatic wheel and front end wobble when hitting a bridge transition. Vehicle becomes uncontrollable and continues to shake violently until vehicle comes to almost a complete stop. I had this same issue in my 2005 f250 and had to change almost all the components of the front end to fix. There are hundreds of people speaking about this on the forums and state that there are tsbs that cover this but that the parts fail again in about 25k miles. I pull a boat quite often and if this would have happened with a trailer behind my truck there would have been fatalities. As it was cars went all over the interstate trying to get away from me. This issue has been around for a long time and it seems that it has not been addressed by the manufacture. I love and need my 3/4 ton truck and believe that ford makes the best truck, but there will be deaths caused by this, if not already. Now i will start the long process of getting the dealer to fix the issue.

Owned truck for less than a year, i had less than 50,000 miles on truck and had 'death wobble' on highway multiple times. After a $1000+ bill from the dealership, it still happens but not to the same extent as originally.

Experiencing what is known as "death wobble".when hitting a small bump in the pavement, vehicle begins shaking (sometimes violently).must apply brakes and slow speed to remedy

Death rattle you hit bump in highway and starts to shake all over, like the wheels are going to fly off.

I am not sure about the safety issue, but i want this on record. Ford motor company is selling ford f-250 with sub par air conditioning parts. I sent my truck to estabrook ford in pascagoula ms because of a foul smell. I was told that my "evaporator inside the cab is leaking freon." the service manager tells me this happens all of the time. He said we have to take your dash out and replace it. "don't worry about any rattles or anything like that, our mechanic has gotten pretty good at replacing these. All of the fire dept. Had to have them replaced. I have seen some with as low as 3000 miles on them go out."i would think that leaking all of that freon is dangerous to the environment, and humans inside the cabs of the vehicles.
