My dad was driving my f150 heading southbound on hwy 49 in richland, ms. At the wilson rd intersection the car in front of my dad slammed on brakes for the yellow light, my dad hit his brakes, and the 18 wheeler behind my dad rear ended him, slamming him into the car in front of him and pushed both cars through the intersection about 50 feet. The impact was strong enough to break the seat. None of the airbags deployed.*dt*dt

The contact owned a 2019 ford f-150.the vehicle was t-boned on the front driver's side door while driving at 55 mph as a result the vehicle went down into a ditch and continued to slide into branches and bushes. The contact stated that all air bags deployed except for the driver's side frontal air bag. The contact also mentioned that the driver's side seat had also separated from the seat framing. The whole driver's side was smashed in with the roof damaged including the side and back windows. The frame was also damaged. The contact was transported to the hospital by ambulance for neck injuries. The other driver and her passenger were air lifted and transported by ambulance to the hospital as well. A police report was filed. The insurance company was still investigating and had not yet officially totaled the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard. The dealer deery brothers ford lincoln (2343 mormon trek blvd, iowa city, ia 52246 319-337-4600) was contacted in regards to the air bag failure however, offered no assistance but referred the contact to the insurance company. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The failure mileage was 5,000.

I just bought my truck and have honked my horn two times.both times the perforated seal for the airbag has split open.i got it repaired the first time and now i have an appointment to get it repaired a second time.this is a defect, you should be able to apply pressure to honk a horn.especially if someone pulls out in front of you and you have to abruptly apply the brakes at the same time as honking.this creates a forward force that makes you press harder as well.this is a safety issue as well, as i'm not sure about the airbag now, if it will work at all, or if it will deploy for no reason and injure me. Both times i was driving, but only the first time did i have to hit the brakes hard, the second time was a normal honk with light to medium pressure.

My vehicle was stationary at the edge of an intersection. My vehicle was impacted by a large heavy pick at moderate speed. The other truck struck my vehicle at the front left corner. While the impact caused head and hip injury; the airbags failed to deploy. My vehicle has been totaled from the impact.

Ford recalls 600,000-plus vehicles to fix backup cameras included the 2020 f-150 but not the 2019 f-150. My vehicle is experiencing the same issues. In fact the cameras have been replaced by the dealer 7 times and they are still not working. I feel this should be covered under the same recall as the 2020s

While driving, the vehicle shut off (three times now). This occurred once while turning onto another road and the vehicle stalled in a lane of traffic. When this happens, the vehicle makes you shift to park and restart the vehicle. It displays a message about auto start/stop (attached). Every time has been at relatively low speed.

Vehicle shut down while moving and displayed message ' auto start stop shift to p then restart engine' after coming to a stop with no power brakes or steering, vehicle took approximately five seconds to restart and had a difficult time doing so

I was decelerating down a hill. I was still doing about 20 mph while braking and i received an error saying 'auto startstop shift to p, then restart engine' and my engine shut off and i lost power steering and brakes and had to coast myself to somewhere as close to the side of the road as possible. Thank god this happened on a local rd and not a highway. I proceeded to shift to p and restart the vehicle 4 times until it allowed me to shift to drive and it actually engage so i could continue driving. This is the second time it has happened to me and the truck is less than a year old.

Truck was parked, went to unlock key fob did not work. Opened with key and had no electric power. Totally dead, checked battery with meter and it had full charge.checked fuse's all ok. After about 5 minutes truck powered back up on its own without me doing anything except scratching my head.

While driving: alert system came on while driving with no obstruction while driving; received message through app could not reply;stationary: start vehicle display didn't display for about 20 second to respond. Received recall through my ford app which states that battery monitoring sensor eyelet adhesive obstruction: may experience intermittent or inoperative instrument panel displays, braking or steering haven't experience any braking or steering problems as of yet. These issues happen on different dates before receiving the recall alert. Already made an appointment for services.

The contact owns a 2019 ford f-150. The contact stated that the vehicle's alarm failed to activate, lock, and start. In addition, the "key not detected" message was displayed. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The contact purchased a battery for the key fob. The contact called cecil atkission ford lincoln (2700 us-90, del rio, tx 78840, (830) 775-7481) and informed them of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the local dealer. The contact stated that when the vehicle was in a high frequency area, the failure occurred. The failure mileage was 9,080.

After the vehicle has been parked overnight. I reverse out of my driveway, stop, shift to drive, drive about .75 miles to a stop sign. Turn left and go about 1 mile to another stop sign, as the truck is close to stopping for this second stop sign, the engine turns off and i lose power steering. The dash shows this message: "auto startstop shift to p, then restart engine". I have to push on the brakes, shift the truck to park, and then crank the key to restart the truck. This happens whether the auto start/stop is enabled or disabled. It has happened several times at the exact same stop sign right before i come to a complete stop. It is happening more frequently.

Vehicle shuts down. I was waiting in line of traffic for the traffic light to turn green. Motor stops, lights go out.placed in neutral and tried to restart, would not start until after 3 - 4 minutes.

The collision warning appears random and not even close to a vehicle.iā€™m alamo experience problems with the power train (truck jerks) and not other problems.i have been having the same problems since 2020.my truck is at the dealership and now ford engineers are involved because the trucks has multiple codes and unable to figure out the problem. My truck has been at the dealership since may 17-june 1st and june 7 to current.

Today while driving home from work, a wrench-shaped indicator light on the dashboard turned on. Following this, the display notified me that the front sensor and collision avoidance were no longer available. Afterwards, the truck began to shudder and jerk around while idling at the stoplight. The rate at which the truck could accelerate began to decrease every time i would accelerate from a complete stop (a stoplight for example). Shifts also seemed very rough. Whenever the transmission shifted, it felt like sitting in a chair on a concrete floor while somebody dropped dumbbells on the ground.

Noticed during summer 2020 months the truck when idling at stop would vibrate and tachometer would bounce.recently during july to september the truck when stopped would idle rough then shut down completely having to put in park and restart the truck!the last time it did it i was sitting at a red light on a city street and it just shut down and i had to restart the truck.this has happened 4 times since july.i took it to two ford dealers and neither could replicate the problem and told me they could not fix it.

1) forward collision/pre-collision automatic emergency brake system and warning (visible & audible) do not work and is non-responsive during vehicle operation.2) lane departure warning system does not work and is non-responsive during vehicle operation.

While driving the vehicle on a city street it started to accelerate on it's own and i had to slam on the breaks because of it doing that. Again one december 20th 2019 it did it again. I dont know what's causing it to be doing that but i've taking it to the dealership and nothing can be found wrong.

On dec 9 while taking off from the traffic light driving at around 5mph my truck suddenly did not accelerate.., the stability control warning light, brakes warning light and the airbag warning light came on. I almost got into an accident as i did not expect my truck to suddenly not accelerate. At this time the truck would only drive at 5mph. Drove to the dealer at 5 mph and they cannot replicate the problem.on dec 10 it all happened again. Suddenly the truck will not accelerate and again almost got into an accident. Today for the third time it happened again. On each occasion the dealer cannot replicate the problem however they did remove codes not pertaining to the symptoms.

On tuesday 11/5/19, we were traveling on a highway at around 45 mph when i decelerated to make a right hand turn onto a city street. I had accelerated back up to around 30 mph when i cross over a relatively smooth railroad crossing at a slight left hand turn. Immediately the information center on the console start displaying multiple alerts and the vehicle started decelerating. While the engine did not cut off, there was no power to the powertrain and eventually we rolled to a stop on the side of the road. The vehicle continued to fire alerts. The only way to stop them was to turn the vehicle off. The messages still fired so i opened and closed the door. I restarted the vehicle with no problem and the alert messages had ceased. I drove the vehicle back to the house (approximately 4 miles) at highway speed with no issue. We took the vehicle to the dealership then next day (26 miles) with no issue. Fortunately, our ford pass app had captured all the alerts and, after a couple of days, the dealership replaced a gas pedal position sensor. We picked the truck up on friday and it worked fine until the next day.we were decelerating from highway speeds on the highway to turn left onto a side road. We hit a small hump where the side road meets the highway and again the alerts starting firing and the truck lost propulsion. Again, the engine did not turn off and the only remedy was to turn it off and back on. We plan on taking the vehicle back to the dealership but would like for ford to assess this problem as it seems to be beyond the dealership's capabilities to fix the issue. Since several of the alerts represented loss of safety functions including brakes, traction control, powertrain failure, and others we feel this issue represents a safety issue that ford needs to diagnose and fix. Several of the f150 forums have shown other users having the same issue.

Engine burning oil shuts down making noise it's been hauled in garage. Four times it's a new pickup i've not had but trouble out of it i won't it fixed

2019 f-150 - 3.5l ecoboost, on a cold start there is a ticking-tapping or rattle noise

My new 2019 ford f150 has a knocking noise in the motor that can be heard 25 feet from the vehicle. The transmission has a constant whining noise continually upon any acceleration.both while stationary, on city streets or highway!

I purchased a left over 2019 in june 2020. The vehicle has been back twice for transmission issues to the dealership. I was told that i have to live with it from a service advisor. The vehicle's powertrain is jerky when slowing down. It feels like a kick when is goes from gear to gear up or down shifting. There is also a loud bang upon start up. I video taped it,the drive shaft twist upon start up. Seems unsafe if the drive pin is the only thing hold a 7000 lbs vehicle or if you start in neutral. Overall the pcm needs new transmission strategy applied. Very poor on ford's behalf.

Seat back with an improperly assembled recliner mechanism not adequately restrain the recliner mechanisms may be missing the third pawl required for seat back strength, resulting in a loose seattransmission shifts extremely hard. It clunks most of the time when i turn the vehicle on. Often, when i shift from park to drive the trunk lurches forward even with my foot pressed down all the way on the break. It's in the ford dealer right now and all they can find is low transmission fluid. Although i've never had a warning light or anything on before.dropping from 10th gear to 5th gear when cruise is set and accelerator is pressed truck will set advanced traction control warning off and slam so hard into 5th gear you are destructed looking to see if you were in a accident.. I have videos that were provided to ford motor company and have had in 2 ford dealership s 3 times for repairs.ford motor company has 2 engineer cases opened on truck the second case they told dealership it was my fault with the abrupt shifting slamming and traction control warning at 72 mph on interstate. Ford refuses to address the safety issue. It is a hazard to me and passengers in my vehicle as well as the motoring public. Ford motor company has been notified they can assume liability if i am in a accident and someone is injured due to their negligence or refusal to fix defect. Truck has had issues since around 3500 on the odometer it now has 16,567 miles currently.this as well as any other erratic shifting complaints with said 10r180 should be fully investigated and taken seriously because it will and i am sure has contributed to crashes!!!!the vehicle has the technology package which allows you to start /stop the vehicle with an app in your phone. I assume the motor has bluetooth attached to it. The problem is that when your driving the vehicle will just shut down. Once this happens you have to stop the vehicle, put it in park, and restart the engine.

Excessive oil consumption. I am a quart low at just under 2000 mi. Timing chain rattle during deceleration when cold. Warped dash panel passenger side.

My 2019 ford f150 has a recall for the phaser nocking but livermore forddon't want to fix it until further notice from ford corporate, i can not drive my truck and i can not sell it because of the knocking noise. I am stuck with 30k truck, please see attachment from ford

The contact owns a 2019 ford f-150. While the vehicle was parked after a trip, the check engine indicator illuminated. The 'see dealer immediately' indicator also illuminated. The vehicle was taken to red rock ford of williston (888-706-7217, located at 410 32nd ave w, williston, nd 58801) where it was diagnosed that the egr assembly needed to be replaced due to missing screws. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the failure would be investigated. The contact was provided a case number. The contact was not called back. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 4,360. The check engine indicator illuminated with code: p245b - egr cooler bypass control circuit range/performance (bank 1)the part replaced by red rock ford of williston is the same part number which had a recall for 2018 f150 diesels. Thispart was not supposed to be installed after october 20, 2018. Contact truck was built on february 4, 2019.

The vehicle appears to be using an excessive amount of oil and after operating for periods of time, the smell of burnt oil is apparent. Vehicle has less than 14,000 miles; there are no visible leaks, no visible damage or defect to the oil pan, and no visible defect or damage to the quick drain assembly. Vehicle oil was at maximum threshold one month ago and is now at lower eyelet of the dip stick indicator. Intelligent oil life indicator states that oil life is at 65%.

Vehicle shuts down. I was waiting in line of traffic for the traffic light to turn green. Motor stops, lights go out.placed in neutral and tried to restart, would not start until after 3 - 4 minutes.

Stalls with no notice

Engine rattles during acceleration. Rattle noise when you left off gas pedal when engine is cold and while driving.

Oil consumption engine using at least 2 quarts of oil every 1500 t0 2000 miles since i bought this vehicle i have changed the oil twice and each time it goes threw 2 plus quarts within 1500 t0 2000 miles of being changed..added 5w20 synthetic oil each time 4 to 5 qts. Since having the truck. Mileage now 14,230 this is not acceptable for a new engine!

Rattle on cold start. Sounds like timing chain rattle or phasers.

This happened twice today 10/24/2020.first time i was stopped at a turning light on a main road and as soon as i let off the break the engine shutoff.second time i was in a residential neighborhood making a turn and the engine shutoff once again displaying the image attached.

1. Engine begins to run rough during high speeds.2. Rear cabin noise while driving (hear outside noises like a window is open).

The vehicle only has 13,500 miles on it and it consumes oil dramatically and there is an off throttle rattle in the engine.additionally, one of the cylinders does not appear to be firing and it has no oil pressure.

Driving on a road and the truck abruptly shut off, displayed an error message on the screen showing "auto stop/start, put the vehicle in park and restart engine" ( i dont use the auto stop/start feature) this issue should be looked into asapthe vehical model shutting down randomly possibly leading into a serious accident or death.

Driving on a road and the truck abruptly shut off, displayed an error message on the screen showing "auto stop/start, put the vehicle in park and restart engine" ( i never use the auto stop/start feature)upon researching this error ( the dealership was of no help ) it appears this issue has been around since at least the 2018 f150 model. It's very concerning that this can happen while the vehicle is in motion and is a hugh safety issue as well as an accident waiting to happen.

While driving on a residential street the vehicle turned off and displayed ā€œauto startstop shift to p then restartā€¯. This happened several times until i pulled into my driveway.

When pushing the gas the vehicle whistles as if there is a vacuum leak, then when suddenly letting off the gas the vehicle makes a popping noise, similar to a backfire but muffled, as if it's coming back through the intake, this happens on all roads at all times, warm weather, cold weather, cold start and after a hot start. It almost seems that the truck doesn't perform as well as it used to, and the loudness of the noise has only been increasing, this 2019 ford f150 has only used 87 unleaded fuel and is at 21k miles

Excessive oil consumption in first 500 miles (used 2 quarts) 5.0 liter engine

Engine stalled while i was driving in a residential area. The auto/start was disabled at the time. I slowed down to let a car turn left into a driveway and went to accelerate and had zero power, engine was off. There was a message on the dashboard to shift into park and restart vehicle.

The contact owns a 2019 ford f-150. While driving at various speeds at night the headlights failed to produce adequate light. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to sanderson ford 6400 n 51st ave, glendale, az 85301 (800) 729-3501 where it was diagnosed that a light adjustment was needed. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 3,000.

Vehicle is equipped with automatic headlights that will turn on/off high beams. The high beams should turn on when conditions ahead are acceptable and off when oncoming traffic is present.however, the automatic system frequently gets confused by oncoming headlights, turn signals and street lights, etc., which causes it to flash the high beams briefly at oncoming traffic.on two occasions oncoming drivers thought this high beam flash was a signal to them to go ahead and they turned in front of me, nearly causing and accident. Flashing high beams briefly is commonly done in our area to signal other drivers to go ahead.the automatic high beams should be reprogrammed to prevent flashing them at oncoming traffic.note that we have a different make/model vehicle with the same type of headlight system that works flawlessly without this problem.

Ford issued a day running light (drl) recall on some 2019/2020 f 150 vehicles where some vehicles had drls that would remain daytime bright when the headlights were on.after ford's fix is applied, all truck lights, except headlights (side marker, tag lights, front lights, trailer lights) are on at all times unless the light switch is manually turned to the off position.in the off position, the drls are off too.since this is the only way to turn off the unnecessary lighting, it puts the driver into a dangerous situation because the drls are off.states require drls to be on especially during poor weather conditions.ford has managed to totally screw up exterior lighting by creating a fix that doesn't fix the problem.they simply turned on all lights all the time.in response to acknowledging the problem, ford states that exterior lights will be on when the light switch is in any position except off.so they know the fix they provided doesn't work correctly, but they are unwilling to provide a solution that makes exterior lighting operate normally. That is, drls are on during daylight hours, without all exterior lighting being on.besides the safety factor, overall light failures will increase with time since there on full time.

F series 2019 & 2018 have a 4 bulb headlight daytime running and low beam headlight system that is always on. Very distracting and bright to on coming trafficand when this truck is behind you.why is it necessary to have a 4 bulb headlight system that is always on?? please look into this issue, i find it distracting and dangerous to other motorists, especially at night.

The headlamp seals broke. The headlamps have condensation in them during inclement weather or after a car wash.this makes driving at night extremely dangerous as the condensation refracts the light reducing the effectiveness of the headlamps to illuminate the road. I almost went off the road several times from colorado to texas driving at night due to this issue. Ford maintains that condensation in the headlamps is normal and refuses to repair them under warranty. They have offered to assist me with financial assistance to repair the headlamp, which is an admission of fault. Yet, ford expect me to pay for defective headlamps. I have located several videos and forum posts where others have been experiencing the same issue. The question is why is ford being allowed to get away with not having to recall these headlamps. In one video, the man explains exactly what i explained to ford's customer service rep, annamarie rocha. The condensation destroys the led's and a computer control board on the bottom of the headlamps.

Too bright, and blind me.

The contact owns a 2019 ford f-150. While driving approximately 60 mph, the contact noticed that the pre-collision automatic braking system failed to operate without warning. The contact called ford of boerne at 210-920-3023 (located at 31480 i-10, boerne, tx 78006) and scheduled an appointment with the technician. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 150. *asconsumer stated my complaint is that the forward collision response system and automatic braking do not work.upon my visit to the dealer they told me there is no way to check the system to see if it works (and this information supposedly came from ford engineers). Therefore, the system is not capable of being tested, the system is not fail-safe of errors, the system is incapable of demonstrating repeat front collision warning and emergency braking.

My truck went 3 ford locations andno one really knows why the safety breaks do not work. They claim the car miss the ccm, they have no other codes or guidelines to make it work. The pre-ass collision rarely activates and the brakes does not apply. The auto start stop also is not longer working

In motion, interstate highway merge lane.i have a 2019 ford f150 equipped with a pre-collision avoidance system.the vehicle mileage is approximately 12,500.i purchased the vehicle new.during my vehicle ownership the collision avoidance system has always been set to 'apply braking' and alert set to 'high' the system has alerted on multiple occasions, however the aeb never engaged the brakes.i was recently in a collision, while the system alerted, and should have engaged the aeb.the pre-collision aeb did not apply the brakes.the collision was minor; the pre-collision aeb system failed.other concerns for consideration.if the pre-collision system can fail, could the system also apply brakes when there is no danger of a collision. A failed system is a failed system.i would greatly appreciate a response and assurance from ford motor corporation; before i have the damage repaired, i would like ford to inspect the system, provide a data history report from my vehicle; and assurance the pre-collision system is functioning as designed before i have the vehicle repaired.

Advanced collision warning works.but, the braking has never kicked in at all ever.ihave seen this issue 4 or 5 times in the last year.

Our brand new 2019 ford f150 was having shifting problems. Very rough shift from 5 to 6th etc. Clunky. Called dealer. Was told it would "even out" driving from tx to ga it only got worse.dealership in ga says it was shipped low of transmission fluid.it is a closed system, so they said it had to be shipped from the factory low.we drove 5500 miles with a transmission that was 2 qts low and got no errors, lights or notifications. We picked up the truck on oct 10, 2020.it still felt very clunky, so we tried in november and early december to have it looked at again.they could not get a loaner etc. It was not serviced a second time at this point.on dec 24th around, we were driving down i 20 going roughly 70mph.thankfully, my husband was driving.the truck began to feel rougher on shifting ( it is an automatic) suddenly, the truck lunges like we pulled the emergency brake and it shifted from 10th gear to first, he knew to put into neutral and get off the highway.we immediately pulled to the nearest exit and drove home about 4 miles very slowly. Because it would jerk very hard if it got to 5th gear and tried to go to 6. After several days due to the holiday, the truck was towed to ford who now say it is too full on transmission fluid and they cannot duplicate the problem. We would have crashed if i were driving. The sudden stop and sudden gear change only magnified the problems we were having already with the truck.there are numerous reports of similar issues across the country.ford needs to do a recall before someone dies.

Transmission shifts extremely hard. It clunks most of the time when i turn the vehicle on. Often, when i shift from park to drive the trunk lurches forward even with my foot pressed down all the way on the break. It's in the ford dealer right now and all they can find is low transmission fluid. Although i've never had a warning light or anything on before.

This has happened 3 times. While traveling on the freeway the truck goes into neutral and won't shift into gear i have to coast to the side of the road and re-start the vehicle and go again. This could be very dangerous traveling at high speeds on a busy freeway with no shoulder.

High amplitude vibration at various speeds. Most noticeable between 50 and 70mph. I complained about it to the dealership and they determined the ring and pinion gears needed replacing at 4200 miles. Vibration persisted, so i took it back and they tried roadforce balancing the wheels/tires and checking for runout. This did not fix the problem either. Then they tried replacing wheels and tires all together, still with no success.

Vehicle, a 2019 f150 limited with 10r80 10 speed transmission has had transmission related issues since delivery.there has been a chattering sound on deceleration and various transmission performance related issues with the vehicle. Vehicle was taken to crown ford, fayetteville nc, in september of 2020 within the first 5,000 miles of ownership to address the chattering/hard shifting issue. The truck spent 34 days in the shop and i was told the problem was with the rear axle housing and wheel bearings which were replaced.the transmission issues continued to occur after the fix.i took the vehicle back and spoke with service manager and senior mechanic to let them know there were still issues.the mechanic rode with me and advised me not to leave the truck at the shop again and that "whatever it was, it's nothing major wrong with your truck" and to continue driving it.issues have become progressively worse with a noticeable "clunk" when starting the truck or shifting into gear. The truck has lost power between shifts while in notion and has exhibited extremely harsh shifts numerous times, so much so that it felt like i hit something in the road.the truck now is nowacting like it doesn't want to shift and as if it has no power, as well as the appearance of a mil on the dash.truck has been taken back to crown ford again for diagnosis and i am awaiting results.given the number of issues related to the f150 and this particular transmission something needs to be done to address what are serious safety and drivability issues.i have no confidence in this truck or that it will perform as advertised by ford motor company in the future.this truck has been nothing but problems since purchased.

I bought new in june 2019 the following month the transmission upshifts downshifts extremely harsh from gears 3,4,5,6 transmission also over revs like clutch is held in when upshifting. Vehicle will drop down 5 gears from highway speeds. When coming to stops it sometimes lurches forward fast almost rear ending cars multiple times. It has been reprogrammed, serviced multiple times, transmission valve body was replaced and still to this day problem getting worse. My ford shop put a flight recorder in and verified all the issues. Waiting for ford engineers to fix this issue. 2 other issues that started almost day one was rear differential leaked, four wheel drive solenoids replaced along with 4x4 wheel hubs. My ford mechanics are great but it's ford moco that is the issue. My ford repair shop is waiting for them to provide a solution. I don't hall or tow anything in this truck. It's used like a car.

Transmission shifts sometimes with really bad harsh jerks. At speeds below 50mphmost of the time when pulling my boat trailer. This has happened several times in the last several months.

10r80 10-speed automatic transmission / driveshaft makes loud bang or clunk noise when first starting the engine.the clunking noise continues when you accelerate (light or heavy) and take your foot off throttle the clucks/ bangs are so strong you feel like someone reared you. The automatic transmission jerks and slipped when shifting gears up or down. When city driving transmission / driveshaft clucks/ bangs more because of stop and go. On the highway transmission downshifts and up shifts for no reason and 4 to 6 second delay in throttle response. Have had it to dealership 5 times. First time dealer reset tcm program to "relearn"shifts. Didn't fix problem. Second time checked grease in yolk. Grease full. Still not fixed. 3rd, 4th, and 5th time dealership called ford "hotline" for repair or fix. No call back or fix from ford to date.

There is a bad viberation at 60/70 mph. This is a $74.000 f150 limited. They put two new tires on and still bad. Now they are checking all drivetrain still nothing. This truck only has 700 miles on it. Its a 2019. Do not want this truck now. Ford knows they have a problem. This isa lot of money for me to spend . I think they need to buy this truck back, to big a problem to put up with.

Upon starting the drive shaft is being twisted, causing a loud crack\bang from the joints.this noise\complaint is consistent with numerous tsb's and illinois class action law suit concerning these defective 10 speed transmissions.further, both at a stop, shifting fwd.\rev. And operating at low speeds (maneuvering in parking lots) there is a definite clunk in the rear end as you accelerate \ decelerate; this coming from the rear differential yoke\joint.this problem has\is occurring since purchase, 03\2020 and is becoming more frequent.as of 10\07\2020 the truck has 10,000 miles.

I recently bought a brand new 2019 f150 at larry h. Miller ford draper. And within a little over a month of owning the truck the transmission is now giving me problems.just recently took it in to the service department, left it there all day only for them to tell me that everything is fine. And since i've had it back the problems have been getting worse.i've been experiencing problems with the transmission skipping gears (2nd and 5th).staying in gear too long. It doesn't shift down properly, so it takes a lot of power to make a full stop. As accelerate it goes from 9th to 8th, then down to 7th then back up to 9th. And i really have to accelerate it to even shift gears.

I was driving on a major interstate and went to pass a slower moving vehicle while i had space in the passing lane.as the truck slowed form 73- 60 mph, i got into the accelerator and the transmission dropped from 10th/9th gear to 5th. The truck shuttered and slammed into gear, almost sounding as if a semi had rear ended my truck. I had lost all power to the power train and had a warning light come on the dashboard. I have experienced random times and the last time was down right scary... Took it to the dealership and they could not duplicate the problem. Theyhave already reset the transmission to "re-learn" driving once.this has happened at 5k and 16k miles.

Rough shifting& clunk noisenot all the time but when engine startsmakes a clunk noise. Doesn't happen all the time. Also erratic shifting and clunking in driver train again not always.

Transmission has issues with hard shifts from the 3-4 and the 4-5 up shifts and downshifts. It has almost caused me to lurch forward into another car. The issue has also caused times where the transmission was unable to find a gear and it would lose power until it chose one and jerked the whole truck forward.

I have been reading about the ford f150 transmission issues and i believe my truck also has the issues of hesitation in shifting, thought i was imagining things but it has been going on since i bought the truck 3 months ago.

I was driving my truck on the interstate with adaptive cruise control turned on.the truck began to automatically slow as i approached a vehicle ahead of me. As i changed lanes to pass, the system saw there was nothing ahead of me, then downshifted from 10th gear to 5th gear with a very loud "klunk".since i had the accelerator depressed to override the adaptive cruise as i changed lanes, the truck immediately and abruptly accelerated. I was thrown back in my seat and momentarily lost full control of the steering wheel.i estimate i was going 65-70 mph and the downshift to 5th gear and quick acceleration was extremely unnerving.i categorize this complaint as a powertrain issue because i was overriding the adaptive cruise at the time and this issue was caused by the transmission downshift and the engine power together.the date i provided is an estimated date.

Transmission fluid leak two times driving on the highway.transmission was previously replaced for a front pump noise at 500 kms.truck has 11,000 kms on it towed in twice.

Brand new truck experiencing rough downshifting while approaching normal stops.also upon beginning acceleration, gears may seem to slip and rev, similar to clutch being applied and engine revving, then catches a gear and lurches forward.on numerous occasions at end of backing up and shifting to drive, felt and heard a loud 'clunk' in rear differential area.never had a vehicle do any of this.called ford service and he said, ' you've never had a 10 speed transmission, have you'.of course not, it is new technology.

The contact owns a 2019 ford f-150. While driving 30 mph, the vehicle shifted from drive into neutral gears, causing the wheels to seize. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to davidson ford of clay (located at 3690 ny-31, liverpool, ny 13090, (315) 860-0096), but the failure could not be duplicated. The failure recurred after leaving the dealer. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was 1,725.

Experiencing rough/jerky shifts from transmission. Part of the jerky shift is a delay in downshift or up-shift followed by it clunking/slamming into gear. Jerky downshifts in lower gears thrust vehicle forward. This is experienced during everyday driving conditions while the vehicle is moving in both city and highway conditions. The problem has been ongoing for months. Manufacturer has been notified but will not provide a fix.

While driving the vehicle on a city street it started to accelerate on it's own and i had to slam on the breaks because of it doing that. Again one december 20th 2019 it did it again. I dont know what's causing it to be doing that but i've taking it to the dealership and nothing can be found wrong.

Vehicle shuts down. I was waiting in line of traffic for the traffic light to turn green. Motor stops, lights go out.placed in neutral and tried to restart, would not start until after 3 - 4 minutes.

The transmission will make noise when the engine is running in park.confirmed similar issue/s by other owners through f-150 forum here:https://www.f150forum.com/f118/2018-2020-10-speed-transmission-issues-466952/

Truck has 8100 miles on it.there is a constant vibration above 60 miles per hour, rebalancing of the tires did nothing to fix it.dealer states it is normal.also, the 10-speed transmission shifts very hard under certain circumstances.cruising at 74 on the highway, i would floor it and the transmission would go from 10th gear to 6th with a slam, the traction control lights would flash and the truck would slow down when i needed it to speed up. All this on a completely dry and flat road. Very dangerous.other times, i was going 50-60 mph and floored it trying to pass someone and the truck did nothing.didn't speed up, didn't change gears, just nothing.again, very dangerous.

Transmission up shifts hard downshifts hard, skips gears when shifting and slams into gear. Truck does not accelerate up to speed.

Hard shifts into 2nd gear and also 4th into 5th gear. Sometimes when first started and put into reverse there is a hard clunk sound made from transmission. Other times it completely skips 2nd and 4th gear but stays in 1st and 3rd longer than it probably should. On at least 2 occasions it has sort of stalled out going from 3rd to 5th while going through an intersection. This transmission really has issues and should be addressed. Everytime i take it back to ford they say they will reprogram it but warranty won't cover it.this happens daily but i'm just going to put today's date below.

Rough shifting into 5th and 8th gear under load (acceleration) and rough "clanky' shift into 9th gear while de-celebrating or coasting. Audible clank or bang like sound during engine start up.

Vibration throughout the cabin between 54-60mph as we left the dealership. Brought it back a few days later and the service manager drove the truck with me and agreed that "there was defiantly an issue that needs to be addressed" . So i set up an appointment for the following week to drop the truck off. I dropped the truck off the following week. I got a call from the service manager (same one that drove the truck) and he asked if there was a level kit installed since he drove the truck last week. I replied yes, but that has nothing to do with the drivetrain vibration! he then stated that they will not look at this as a warranty issue anymore and would charge me (even though the problem occurred 100' after i left the parking lot with my brand new truck and the fact that he drove it and agreed there is defiantly an issue (that day!) i left and won't be back.long story as short, i looked deep into this and found thousands of trucks with the same exact issue (2015-2020) and no fix from ford yet: road force balance tires, no. Re-balance driveshaft, no. Replace rear axle, no. Replace driveshaft, no. Replace all rims, no. Wheel bearings, no. Brake components, no. Rear diff ring, no. Driveshaft carrier, no. Rear diff shims, no. 4-wheel alignment, no. U-joints, no. Replace all tires, no. Replace rear shocks, no. Pinon angle, no. Front drive shafts, no. Front diff, no. Shim pinion gear, no. Torque convertor, no. Trans valve body, no. Ring & pinion gears, no.this has been an issue since 2015.no recall.no tsb.laughable.

The contact owns a 2019 ford f-150. The contact stated while driving 80 mph, the vehicle downshifted violently while the rpm increased to 5,000 and vehicle veered off the roadway. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact noticed that the transmission was leaking. The vehicle was towed to woodhouse ford of omaha (3633 n. 72nd st, omaha, ne 68134, (866) 401-2340) to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the vehicle was low on transmission fluid. The computer was reset and the vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the local dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 28,000. The vin was not available.

Extreme jerking and hesitation. Sometimes 4wd is unusable, especially when turningsteering wheel in 4wd. Actually feels like brake is applied when using 4wd. Called dealer i purchased from and was told it was "normal". Hard to believe that is normal. Vehicle has 9300 miles on it.actually the first time itried to use the 4wd.

My 2019 f-150 has completely shut off while driving 2 times with an error saying "auto startstop shift to p, then restart engine". The first time this happened i was driving down my street stopped at the stop sign took a right and immediately the car turned off. The second time this occurred i was driving about 40mph down a main road and again lost all power, couldn't turn my wheel, brakes were hard to push, the vehicle had absolutely not function. I pulled to the side of the road both times place the vehicle in park and restarted the engine. Luckily this did not cause an accident but i am very fearful this will happen again and the outcome will be much worse! i took the vehicle in and both times to the ford dealership and they were unable to make the vehicle replicate issue.

Transmission make a loud bang when starting vehicle. Upon acceleration at highway speeds when transmission shifts from 10th to 6th gear it it so violent it feels like i have been rear ended by another car. Sometimes transmission will have a 3-4 second delay to go into reverse and then makes a loud bang when reverse engages. Spermatic hard shifting. All these problems started at about 20,000 miles.

Transmission almost locks up at highway speeds with high temperature at the gage and transmission leaking lots of fluid onto the exhaust (fire hazard). Has happened several times and dealer still has no idea how to fix. The below date is just the latest as i had just picked up the truck the day before. Below answer to was there a fire, nope not yet.

When the vehicle is in motion and shifting from 3-4 or downshifting from 5-4 there can be a significant jerkiness or shudder.also, occasionally when downshifting from 10 to a lower gear there is a significant jerk.we have at times thought we were rear ended as the truck really lurched.these events happen sporadically.the truck has approximately 30k miles and the transmission has been reflashed.the dealership says this is a common problem and there is nothing they can do and hoping ford will issue a fix. We are nervous driving the truck as this may happen at anytime and could create a situation where we over react with detrimental consequences.note, this is a random occurrence and not limited to one event.i selected the date as a placeholder.

The contact owns a 2019 ford f-150. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed the vehicle shifted gears sporadically while the vehicle shuddered without warning. The vehicle was taken to gus machado of hialeah dealer located at (1200 w 49th st, hialeah, fl 33012) where an update of the transmission control module was completed twice and an unknown part was replaced. The failure recurred and was taken back to the same dealer on three different occasions. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 200.

The 10 speed transmission is inconsistent in shifting especially when cold ... Also grabs and clunks if slightly rolling backwards when moved to drive (inconsistent). Creates unpredictable driving situations.

The vehicle has a 10 speed transmission.the transmission does not shift correctly, stalls between gears which causes a safety issue for persons driving behind my vehicle, also in intersections and merging into highway traffic.there are no warnings, no dash lights.the transmission simply does not shift.manufacturer has not been able to correct the issue.this is a low mileage truck, 13,000 miles, it's truly a dangerous situation

My 2019 ford f150 has a recall for the phaser nocking but livermore forddon't want to fix it until further notice from ford corporate, i can not drive my truck and i can not sell it because of the knocking noise. I am stuck with 30k truck, please see attachment from ford

I purchased a 2019 ford f-150 xlt with the 10-speed transmission and the 3.5l v6 ecoboost engine on 5/13/2019.the transmission has become very problematic and is rough to shift, skips gears, and has created unpleasant driving experiences for me and my passengers.a few weeks after owning my truck, i started to notice issues with the transmission.initially the truck would appear to 'skip' gears when shifting up or down, after i turned on the vehicle each day for the first time and started to drive.however, the transmission has started to perform worse over the past several weeks.the transmission will shift noticeably 'hard' or 'sluggishly' when shifting up or down with an occasional loud 'clang' sound.the vehicle shifted so hard on two separate occasions that it has caused the seatbelt restraint for myself and my passenger to engage, at the time the vehicle was in motion going approximately 35 mph.after the two incidents above and the increased frequency in which this transmission has difficulty performing, i took it back to the dealership on 7/1/2019.the appointment lasted about an hour (if that).the service advisor [charlie ryan] advised that the truck was 'hooked up to the diagnostic' and provided me with a printout and told me 'the transmission was operating normally, and it will skip gears by design'.i asked what can be done to fix it, since the truck is jerking me around while driving.he said there was not a fix and i should log a complaint with ford and if enough people complain, maybe a recall would be issued for this truck model/configuration.the vehicle is not operating as expecting and is starting to become a safety concern.

The 10r80 transmission in my truck has harsh shifting, stalled shifting, and is a safety hazard. Ford will not acknowledge the issues and will not repair the truck.

The truck started hesitating with acceleration at times, shifting hard in low gears and high gears often. Took it in and pcm update was done issue is still the the very next day i started driving it again. This all started around 20000 miles or so. Going to take it back again for same issue of hard shifting at low speeds and now the steering wheel shakes at speeds between 20-25 mph. Frustrating to pay over $60,000 for a new vehicle and have issues within 20,000 miles and i have been only a ford owner for over 15 years.

My new 2019 ford f150 has a knocking noise in the motor that can be heard 25 feet from the vehicle. The transmission has a constant whining noise continually upon any acceleration.both while stationary, on city streets or highway!

The truck is 3.5 eco boost with the 10r80 transmission with 3.55 gears. The truck has a bad vibration at highway speeds that varies in severity depending on load in the bed.downshifts at highway speeds are violent and unpredictable.

I was driving down my block got to a stop sign as i was getting ready to pull up the truck would not move. The engine wouldn't rev and the transmission wouldn't shit. I decided to shut the truck off and wait a little still nothing. The only way to get the truck to move was in reverse.

The f150 was purchased new with 5miles on it. The truck broke down on me within the first 16hrs of driving it off the lot. A temperature sensor had failed and shut down the truck while driving 70mph which was not safe i had no control of the vehicle and barely made it to the break down lane. That issue was resolved and the part replaced. A week later after driving the truck everyday for my daily commute to work i started experiencing vibration at highway speeds 60+ mph. The vibration is felt throughout the steering wheel and in the seat you can feel the console and everything vibrate. The transmission clicks, blacks and clunks like like 15yr old vehicle. The shifting is sloppy, jerky and occasionally delayed and will not respond when letting off the accelerator to slow down or change lanes, you will go to hit the accelerator again and the transmission feels like it slips or is delayed. The 10 speed transmission is a poor and unsafe design. Ford needs to be held accountable before these things kill someone. My is scheduled to go to the 3rd ford dealer this monday 12-23-2019 they are telling me its a steering damper causing it. It is not a damper causing these vibrations and sounds i have a very extensive background of mechanics and i know a junk transmission. Ford is well aware of this problem with thousands of other complaints from consumers with the exact same symptoms. These are lemons and should be bought back from ford.

From 4th to 10th gear the transmission is hunting / surging. This is worse in a downshift from 10th to 9th and from 9th to 8th. It is extremely aggravating to purchase a new vehicle and have so many problems. The dealership says it is the transmission acting different to my driving style because it is adapted to how my wife drives. That's a terrible excuse for all ford employees to use because ford hasn't given them a clear answer. This design flaw should be rectified. This is the dream truck my wife and i have always wanted. We decided to spend a little more than we should have to get what we wanted and we have been entirely let down. Please fix this, ford. Do the right thing.

I recently just purchased my 2019 ford f150 with the 10 speed transmission. Ever since i bought this truck the transmission has been making this clunking sound and jerks very hard. These trucks are very expensive to have them clunk and shift hard and jerk. Ford needs to find a solution to fix these issues with this transmission. It also lurches when its downshifting which could potentially cause an accident.

10r180 dropping from 10th gear to 5th gear when cruise is set and accelerator is pressed truck will set advanced traction control warning off and slam so hard into 5th gear you are destructed looking to see if you were in a accident.. Truck has had issues since around 3500 on the odometer it now has 16,567 miles currently.this as well as any other erratic shifting complaints with said 10r180 should be fully investigated and taken seriously because it will and i am sure has contributed to crashes!!!!

My f150 2019 when coming to the stop brake pedal is going down and when holding the brake pedal at the light it going slowly to the floor. Over all the brake pedal is behaving differently each time i use the brakes although each time the brake pedal is going toward the floor slowly. Taken to ford dealer and i was told this is normal. I almost rear-ended someone so today i took the vehicle second time to another ford dealer and now waiting for the outcome. This is very unsafe driving such a large vehicle with this type of brake behave. Truck have only less than 12000 miles.

1) forward collision/pre-collision automatic emergency brake system and warning (visible & audible) do not work and is non-responsive during vehicle operation.2) lane departure warning system does not work and is non-responsive during vehicle operation.

Vehicle currently has 8600miles on it. The brakes have failed 4 times. The first was repaired by resurfacing rotors which lastde less than 300 miles. 2nd attemptrotors and pads were replaced which failed in leass than 200 miles. Returned atwice since then for rotor resurface. Dealr does not know why brakes are failing/ ford refuses to provide explanation or assure this wont continue

When driving straight with both hands on the wheel and above about 40 mph, a message and alarm go off that says "keep your hands on the steering wheel". This occurs on just about every straight away and becomes very annoying. It also distracts me when i should be paying attention to the road. I've had it in to the dealer three times for this and on the last visit they called ford technical support. They said they are aware of this issue but that they weren't doing anything about it. I feel its a safety issue since it distracts the driver needlessly.

This happened twice today 10/24/2020.first time i was stopped at a turning light on a main road and as soon as i let off the break the engine shutoff.second time i was in a residential neighborhood making a turn and the engine shutoff once again displaying the image attached.

Occasionally the steering wants to force the car into oncoming traffic (to the left) while in motion. This happens after the vehicle has random system faults showing all systems offline: cruise control, anti-collsion, blind spot monitoring, advancetrac...consumer stated additional info, these alerts were sent to my fordpass account. Now the dealer cannot find any indication that the truck had issues. But their own vehicle sent me notices.'parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).'8

Steering has a harmonic vibration at speeds above 40 mph. All roads.

Truck was approximately one year old with 13,500 miles and when i would start the truck, with the a/c on, you would get a strong smell of vinegar coming from the vents. The smell would go away after a couple seconds. While cleaning the truck i realized the front passenger side floor mat was wet as well. Brought the truck to the dealership multiple times. They originally worked on the a/c and after several visits they had to change the carpet of the truck due to the dampness. Same issues continued and i was told they found a leaky door seal, which would explain the dampness on the floor, but not the smell from the vents. Dealership returned the car, with the intake not put together correctly (pictures attached), and 48 hours later the floor was wet again and the smell was still there when starting the truck. Issues have not been resolved at this time time.

The power tailgate opens on its own when the vehicle is in motion. The power tailgate opens when the driver door is closed, or the doors are locked with key fob. The power tailgate dose not open with the tailgate handle switch.

The contact owns a 2019 ford f-150. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the security alarm was activated. The contact saw that the tail gate was open. The tailgate was closed and the alarm deactivated. The contact had experienced the failure multiple times. The vehicle was taken to local dealer gullo ford of conroe located at 925 interstate 45 s, conroe, tx 77301, where the technician was unable to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was informed of failure. The failure mileage was 8,800.

I bought my 2019 ford f 150 4x4 supercrew appx 1 month ago from pompano ford.i noticed 2 days ago the drivers side door hinge makes a cracking noise when opening / closing (while stationary).it sounds like the hinge is coming a loose and mat present danger when keeping the door closed.i cannot tell if the noise is coming from the part of the hinge that is attached to the door, or the part that is attached to the body of the truck.i have not yet taken it to the dealer, but i plan to do it tomorrow.

The tailgate came open on its own.when it did that it fell onto the trailer tonque jack of the trailer i was pulling and caused $1372.08 worth of damage.the pickup was moving when the tailgate opened as i was in a large parking lot of a cafe and was preparing to park for lunch.

Excessive oil consumption. I am a quart low at just under 2000 mi. Timing chain rattle during deceleration when cold. Warped dash panel passenger side.

Driver side door doesn't latch periodically and therefore will not stay closed.

All 4 doors creak when opening from half open to full open. I can hear the creaking coming from the hinges and the door check rods. It started at aprx 6000 miles 3 months ago with the driver front door only. Then progressed to all 4 doors. I now have 9460 miles.

The contact owns a 2019 ford f-150. The contact stated that while driving in inclement weather, water entered the passenger side of the vehicle causing a visibility hazard to the driver. The contact indicated that during the failure the front windshield and side mirror remain fogged over. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer walker ford (17556 us. Hwy 19 north, clearwater fl) who diagnosed a failure in the roof caused during manufacturing. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 4,000.

The evaporator cord went bad before i even owned my brand new truck for a year causing water to leak under the passenger dash and under the carpet which caused a significant amount of mold to grow through the cab. This is not yet a recall, but ford knew that this was as issue in these trucks and still sold it to us. There are at least 3 in for the same issue at our local dealership.

Observed that there was a substantial body crack in the top section of the driver's side 'a pillar' near the front windshield. This was observed when drying the vehicle after washing it. The vehicle was stationary.

Vehicle was sitting vacant in a parking lot.something in the dash, possibly behind the touch screen, exploded and caught the vehicle on fire.the vehicle is totaled.

Extremely dangerous vehicle.2019 f-150 super cabpurchased brand new on 12/07/18doors have popped open several times while driving. At other times the doors will not close and latch at all..many times the doors appear to be closed, yet when you push on them they pop open. I quickly learned to push on the doors before i drive away.the door latches should be designed not just to operate correctly, but also designed well enough to stay closed in a vehicle accident.while the doors on this brand new vehicle will not even stay closed under normal driving conditionsabout me:long term and current ford shareholder and retired federal employee who worked some of my 36 years of federal civil service in vehicle maintenance.this is not a latch mechanism lubrication problem. It is a bad design flaw, combined with a cheap plastic latch strike mechanism inside the door latch.doors popping open while vehicle is in motion makes it a highly dangerous vehicle that should not be allowed to be even sold.if you have any questions call me at (xxxxx)parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6)

Door locks on all 4 doors freeze up when below 20 deg. F the doors will not latch i have to use a wratchet strap or bunge cord to hold them closed. Vehicle can not be locked for security when parked until it is placed in a heated garage to thaw. Doors will swing open when driving. Danger to my grandkids being ejected or falling out. A minor traffic accident could be fatal to any of the occupants

I'm finding that in very cold weather, the doors and sometimes the tailgate will freeze shut. In this case, both times the truck was sitting outside and the temperature over night was in the low teens.

I have a 2019 f-150 that has what they call rail dust or brake dust (rust flakes) showing through on my ingot silver paint. My tailgate is the worst. I have rust flakes appearing in various places throughout my truck body panels. Even the rear bed inner body panels are showing the rust flake spots. Aluminum body panels should not show rust material. This rail dust or brake dust should not be adhering to the clearcoat paint on my truck. I have done some research and ford has had problems with this all the way back to 2004. Ford has put out some tsb's about the problem but will not admit to their problem with rust flakes appearing in their paint. This rust flakes needs recalled immediately that is appearing in the paint jobs. Numerous people are complaining through various search forums i have seen. I am not accepting this rail dust because when you pay upwards of $35,000.00 for a truck and can't get 2 years out of a flawed paint job ford won't recall someone needs to force ford into action. I have contacted my dealer about this but will probably be told nothing can be done. They already told me after my 3 year/3600 miles nothing can be done, this is unfair. Make ford fix this [xxx] problem with the rust flakes in their paint jobs. No other manufacturer has this problem. Last time i buy a ford. Ford should be held liable for their metal particles that appeared on the aluminum body panels before they were painted. We the consumer should not be the one paying the price for their mistakes. This so called rail dust that is appearing on the f -150's paint is not fake. Look at my photos. Have some one come take pictures of my truck for proof. What will the truck look like in 2 more years a rust bucket. I am not paying to have this fixed. Ford has a problem and needs to recall the bad paint jobs or buy back my truck. Please help me with this problem. Make ford recall this.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

When driving 5 mph to 15 mph and going over bumps there is a popping noise from the left front wheel area. The wheel alignment is also off. The position of the steering wheel is about 5 degrees to the left.

I was using cruise control on a flat highway and my 2019 ford f150 stalled.almost everything shut off (couldn't accelerate, main display screen went dark, dashboard went dark, and after a few seconds my headlights shut off as well).luckily i safely pulled off the highway where the only thing that remained "on" was a message saying something about transmission not being in park.after coming to a complete stop, removing the keys, the vehicle started up again like nothing happened.i have approximately 25k miles on this vehicle.a similar incident occurred in a parking lot when i had 300 miles on it but the error message was something different.that time it took 10 minutes to get the car up and running. The issue is infrequent and impossible to replicate but having a brand new car shut off for no reason is dangerous and aggrevating.

2019 ford f150, 5.0 engine. While stopped at red light on a thoroughfare message alerted asking to place vehicle in park and restart the engine. Stepped on accelerator with no result, had to follow directions above to continue driving. Auto start/stop logo appeared on dash during incident. Did not have time to take a photo of message as the light turned green and i had to complete the process quickly.

While driving, the engine light turned on. When i approached a stoplight, the engine began to shudder and stall. As soon as i placed the engine in park, the rpms increased and the engine felt like it was not going to stall. It still had some shaking going on. At the next traffic light, i stayed in drive and the engine died. I was able to restart the car and get home. During this time i was using no other features in the truck. Nothing was charging, the air conditioning was off, the lights were off, and the radio was off. I called the dealership i purchased the vehicle from, and they would not even look at it. I called several other ford dealerships in the nearby area, and they would not look at it citing either covid reasons or no technicians on hand.

I have a 2019 ford f150 xlt. The vehicle has the technology package which allows you to start /stop the vehicle with an app in your phone. I assume the motor has bluetooth attached to it. The problem is that when your driving the vehicle will just shut down. Once this happens you have to stop the vehicle, put it in park, and restart the engine. There is usually not a problem restarting the engine. However, this creates a immense safety issue when your on the interstate and your vehicle stops. Another issue is that it doesnt happen all the time. I would estimate 3-6 times a month. And there are no codes illuminated to identify the problem.

Factory installed tow hitch receiver tube is not level. The 2" square tube was not welded exactly perpendicular to the tow receiver structure. The 2" receiver tube is tilted down 1/4" causing the coupling to be "jackknifed" down. The top of the tow ball is not level which will contribute to uneven pressure / stress on the shank of the ball when towing a trailer. Using a 8" torpedo level will show the defect. Seven out of twenty-one 2019 new f-150 trucks i looked at the local dealership had the same defect. Uneven stress / pressure on the ball shank may cause the shank and ball to fail when towing the maximum 9000 pounds.

Truck when you put it in 4 wheel driveit jumps when you try to park and speeds up

See attached photo related to complaint #11194721oem factory installed tow hitch receiver tube not parallel, causing incorrect alignment of trailer coupling to tow hitch ball.

There is a cover made of plastic under the transmission that is held on by 4 small bolts with big washers.driving in strong winds at highway speeds the back 2 plastic holders broke.this approximate 34 inches across plastic is hanging down.seems to me it is guarding some vital parts under there.sure warranty will replace it with another piece of plastic which will surely fail in time.then it will be my expense.when i called the service department he knew right away what i was talking about, and had them on hand.should be made out of a thicker metal, even aluminum.

2019 ford f-150 was turned on using remote start feature. I allowed the truck to run for about 10 minutes before getting into the driver seat. When i closed my driver side door, the rear windshield shattered. I immediately exited the vehicle and took photos of the shattered glass. Broken glass fell into my back seat and even into the bed of the truck. Thankfully no one was sitting in the back passenger seats. My local ford dealership, where i am leasing said vehicle from, advised me to bring the truck in so they could have a look at it. I advised them that the back windshield was falling apart and glass was continuing to fall into the back seat and into the outside bed/trunk. A service advisor told me they canā€™t do anything unless i bring it in. I sent them the photos i took and clarified to them that the window will surely break apart more if i drive it. The dealership said thatā€™s fine, just bring it in. I wrapped the back windshield, best as i could, with garbage bags. As to not allow for the falling glass to come into the vehicle and strike me or others while driving. When i arrived at my local ford dealership, a service advisor told me that i was not the first case of this occurring. The service advisor told me she has seen quite a few ford f-150ā€™s come in with owners complaining about spontaneous shattering of the back windshield. I asked her what is the cause of such an unusual occurrence. The service advisor told me it had to do with the rear window defroster. My rear window defroster was turned on and active at the time and moment the back window shattered. The remote start feature for the truck, always turns the rear defroster on. A quick online search, will also prove that ford has been neglecting this issue and has not been willing to help their customers fix their back windshields. This is absolutely unacceptable and an enormous safety hazard. Not only for passengers within the vehicle but motorist on roadways, who happen to be driving behind the truck.

Vehicle manufactured in october 2019, interior dash is warping on the passenger side. When lifting the passenger wiper blade, looking through the outside of the windshield at the dash, there is a gap forming where the dashboard is warping.

The transmission seems to slip or not engage at all on several occasions. Today it stalled and left me with no throttle in middle of traffic then quickly engaged in gear . There is constant and irratic shifting unless throttle is aggressively pushed seems this issue will eventually cause car accident for me or others experiencing sameissues . I was almost rear ended as a result of issue .

1) forward collision/pre-collision automatic emergency brake system and warning (visible & audible) do not work and is non-responsive during vehicle operation.2) lane departure warning system does not work and is non-responsive during vehicle operation.

In repeated collision tests the pre-collision assist system (standard equipment version) invariably failed. Ford has been completely unhelpful in resolving the issue and has implied i shouldn't expect it to work! several other f-150s have been tested locally and also failed collision tests . I strongly suspect the standard equipment version of pre-collision assist system is faulty in many 2019 ford pickups. I have videos of my tests but see no way to get them to you.

Collision alert randomly goes off

Today while driving home from work, a wrench-shaped indicator light on the dashboard turned on. Following this, the display notified me that the front sensor and collision avoidance were no longer available. Afterwards, the truck began to shudder and jerk around while idling at the stoplight. The rate at which the truck could accelerate began to decrease every time i would accelerate from a complete stop (a stoplight for example). Shifts also seemed very rough. Whenever the transmission shifted, it felt like sitting in a chair on a concrete floor while somebody dropped dumbbells on the ground.

Horn went out at 33000 miles my brother has a 2016 ford explorer and a 2019 f250 all of which horns went out at low miles

Additional photo relating to complaint #11194721 the cause of the tilted 2" receiver tubes on the 2019 f-150 trucks is due to the incorrect attachment of the weld bracket is not flush with the main structure therefore causing the receiver tube to tilt down. See attached photo.

1. Engine begins to run rough during high speeds.2. Rear cabin noise while driving (hear outside noises like a window is open).

This happened twice today 10/24/2020.first time i was stopped at a turning light on a main road and as soon as i let off the break the engine shutoff.second time i was in a residential neighborhood making a turn and the engine shutoff once again displaying the image attached.

When driving in adaptive cruise control the vehicle will agreesively decelerate when passing on the left side of a large profile vehicle. The greater the speed difference between the two vehicles the greater the rate of deceleration.if the speed difference is about 35 mph or greater the collision avoidance system will activate. This is potentially very dangerous on a crowded interstate with following vehicles very close.

While driving on the highway today, i needed to accel quickly to avoid being in the blind spot of another truck as i was merging onto a different highway. After getting past the truck, i let off the accelerator pedal, but the vehicle continued to speed up.when this happened, i assumed that the cruise control was somehow trying to resume so i tapped the brakes to cancel it, but nothing happened.i then put on brakes, but it was simply fighting the engine as the vehicle continued to accelerate.i then tried pressing both the cancel button and the off button on my cruise control, but the vehicle continued to accelerate.by this time i was easily up to about 85 mph and had now other choice than to put the truck in neutral.i left it in neutral for about 3 or 4 seconds and then put it back into drive and the acceleration problem was resolved.this could have been a very bad situation for an inexperienced driver.i plan on stopping at the dealer where i purchased the vehicle last year and report it to them as well.

While driving the vehicle on a city street it started to accelerate on it's own and i had to slam on the breaks because of it doing that. Again one december 20th 2019 it did it again. I dont know what's causing it to be doing that but i've taking it to the dealership and nothing can be found wrong.

My rear window with defroster shattered when i shut the door on my f150 today.it was without warning and the temperature was mild and the truck was parked under a carport overnight.now i have no back glass.i'll report my issue to ford asap.

The rear view mirror in my vehicle directly obstructs the lanes of right hand traffic when at a stop. This is particularly at an intersection where 4 lanes are used each direction. I almost hit a car this morning at a 4 way if it had not been for my wife next to me. I realized that ford has moved the rear view mirror to almost center windshield to accommodate sensors located in the upper windshield area. I am what would be considered average height (6 feet). Even after adjusting the mirror as high as possible, vision is obstructed. I recently had a left hand crash in my 2016 f-150 where crossing traffic was at an angle and never saw the oncoming car. I believe now this situation is no coincidence as i encountered the issue with my 2019 replacement vehicle. I am an engineer and deal with issues of ergonomics and vison in my industry and can say that this certainly needs investigation as a cause to crashes. I will be consulting with my ford dealership soon to see if this situation can be corrected by moving my mirror higher on the windshield.[xxx]information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Brand new truck with rain sensing wipers.rain sensing function does not work.first time it rained the wipers would not swipe to clean windshield. The only functions that would work were hi and off and when you turned the wipers off they would stop at random places like directly in the middle of the glass.the rain sensing positions (between hi and off) would mostly do nothing but occasionally would do random things, none of which helped clean the windshield (either not enough swipes in heavy rain or too many swipes when it wasn't raining).there are settings in the software to turn the rain sensing off but it had no effect.we took truck to dealer. They replaced switch assembly fl3z*13k359*bc.had no effect.wipers still act the same.this, in my opinion, is a safety hazard, because you cannot get the wipers to swipe properly when needed for one, and also when you finally turn them off they routinely stop directly in the drivers line of vision.also there appears to be no manual backup.

Dec 20, 2019, had a flat. Put on spare; rim fit but tire was 17 inch, instead of 20. Called service dept of lugoff ford."[xxx]"advised me not to drive further or faster than absolutely necessary. Took truck in the next day and they fixed the flat. Said no manager was there, call back monday. I called back monday andthe operator said[xxx]would call me back. I called every day for the next week and on jan 9,2020, he called me back and said he would see what he could do and call me back. I waited 3 days and began calling every day to leave a message. He still has not called. In the interim, i called "ford national" on jan 21, 2020, and talked to "[xxx]"[xxx] cain put me on hold 3 times for several minutes while she talked to lugoff ford. Finally she came back to the phone and said that after the first conversation, lugoff ford kept giving her the wrong extension or disconnecting her. To summarize, i believe they should have giving me 5 20 inch tires instead of 4 when they installed the $2000 "appearance package". If they were going to give me a "doughnut", there should have been some sort of highly noticable disclaimer. The only way i could have known i did not have a real spare would have been to crawl under the truck.(even 2 of their technicians and 1 of their salesmen did not know when i asked them.) i believe they should take back the 17 inch tire and give me a 20 inch tireinformation redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).
