I was driving in a school zone when a vehicle ran a yield sign and hit me on the drivers side front. My airbags didn't deploy. The impact pushed me through a fence and into a residential yard. I hit my head on the window and the handle that was molded into the drivers side windshield. The left side of my body took the impact and i was wearing my seatbelt. I suffered a tbi and have been unable to work, drive, and function for a year.

Air conditioner auto climate control.front blower periodically stops blowing.may not turn on when vehicle started or stop while vehicle has been running, nothing specific to recreate issue.rear blower works fine.been diagnosed 3-4 times with two different ford repair facilities and not able to identify issue cause.vehicle under an extended service plan that covers all air conditioner and heater parts.some parts have been replaced.very frustrating because each time vehicle is turned in its a few days for them to do a diagnostic and monitor and return with no results.i have cycled the vehicle off and back on, sometimes this will engage blower. Other times i will turn off climate control system and it will engage blower.plenty of times neither option works.i change all settings to include manually changing the blower speed and air temperature which does not turn blower on.does not matter wether vehicle is stationary or in motion, speed, day or night, hot or cold, there is no specific circumstance that causes blower to stop working.

While driving down the road the 2005 ford expedition limited vehicle will shut off and check electronic throttle control light will come on , brakes and power steering got out, happens at least twice a month. I have heard of numerous complaints of this from other owners.

However, my model was not included as it was build 6 months prior to the timeframe outlined by ford.clearly the recall needs to be expanded since the problem is occurring in a wider timeframe than was determined by ford.

When driving at normal speed, once vehicle has stopped for stop light it begins to shake badly.also when in park it shakes, the motor seems to be rattled by standing still. We carried it back to the dealer for service it still has the same issue with the shaking.on city streets. If stop for light it shakes. We had the vehicle since november of 2015, aren't able to drive it much because of the shaking. Afraid to drive ,feel unsafe for road travel. Shakes with a loud noise, such as rattling noise, or vibration. Has continued for as long as we've had the expedition.

Tamara recalli was recently in an accident where my vehicle was totaled! i was traveling at approximately 67 mph and hit something at a dead stop. No airbags deployed.

Rear and front differential leaks caused expensive fixes. Fuel issue is that the sensor doesn't work correctly in very cold weather and constantly shows zero miles to empty on information panel. Caused us to fun out of fuel on a few occasions. On the fuel this happens in motion, the differential was caught on a tune up and fixed at that time.

While driving in traffic, my wife's expedition made a loud noise in the engine compartment.a few hundred feet later, it made the same noise, loosing power steering and power brakes, causing her to have to pull off to the side of the road with minimal control of the vehicle.the vehicle was towed to the nearest ford dealership, who informed me that the fuel pump purge valve had stuck closed, causing the fuel pump to suck all of the air out of the gas tank and literally implode the gas tank and destroy the fuel pump itself.a search on the internet (youtube.com in particular) shows that many ford models 2009 and newer are having this same trouble with their newer style valve.i was told this was not covered under the emissions warranty, despite it being an emissions component, and that i would have to pay the $2600 to repair the vehicle, even though there was a catastrophic failure of a ford factory part that caused the rest of the damage and left a moving vehicle with no power steering or brakes - not to mention that a damaged gas tank could have been a fatal fire hazard.

I feel like this known issue should be on a recall.

The contact owns a 2009 ford expedition.immediately after purchasing the vehicle on december 22, 2008, the contact noticed that the head rests on both the driver and passenger sides offered no support between the back and shoulders.the dealer stated that the head rests were manufactured in that manner as a safety feature.the manufacturer stated that they were not liable for repairing the head rests because there was no defect.the current mileage was 700 and failure mileage was 10. Updated 02/10/09the consumer stated the seat were not comfortable. Updated. 02/11/09.

The contact expressed concerns of being seated too close to the steering wheel. The hydralic controller went out after getting the brakes repaired by the dealer. Their was no warning that the pump had gone out. This allowed the brakes to fail making the car a hazard on the road. I was informed by the ford service technician there was not a warning light of failure, way to check it, and the part was not suppose to fail. This causing a extremely dangerous situation when it goes out. I have got the old part which cost over $1000.00.

The abs light stays on and the vehicle wobbles when stopping. The brakes look fine and the rotors appear to be good.

The contact stated that vehicle was a police vehicle and when driving at high rates of speeds with the brake pedal depressed it would act as it was locked. In order to release it he would had to apply extreme pressure to the pedal. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who advised him that the stability control was active and had to be shut off in order for the brakes to release easily. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.

My vehicle has been in jerry's ford in alexandria, va for over 2 weeks this time. Over a month all together over the last 3 months. I can't get them to give me a similar vehicle as loaner or tell me when my car will be fixed. I can't get a manager from ford to call me back.

Paint not adhering to rear tailgate. Door appears to be aluminum and not preparedproperly.faulty workmanship by ford motor company. There needs to class action taken against ford.

Lower retaining bolt between strut and wheel hub has failed causing head of bolt to shear off (see photos) on front passenger side suspension assembly.bolt head was found lying in driveway and sheared bolt was found on inspection of vehicle.vehicle may have been in motion at low speed or stationary at time of failure. Appears to be material failure of the bolt in which a cracked formed and propagated across the bolt until the it could no longer withstand shear forces.am concerned about the 3 other retaining bolts on this vehicle at the other wheels.

The moon roof would not fully open or close. The dealer informed the consumer, it would cost $1994.00 to repair it. On january 9, 2010 at approximately 2:00pm, while driving down astreet near our home, the third row rear passenger side windowjust exploded and crumbled on our 2009 ford expedition. Nothing impacted the window from inside or out. We have only had this newvehicle for 4 months. We can only ascertain that the glass had a defect. This happened yesterday (a saturday) and we will be taking it to the dealer first thing tomorrow (monday) morning, but anticipate they will not take responsibility after speaking to the service department.
