Ford trucks 2008-10 are known to have turbo, emission and radiator problems.causing the vehicles to stop running.they have a pipe before turbos that burns on the inside causing it not to clean out.we take good care of our vehicles, we do oil changes every 4000 miles, we change tires and keep everything clean and up to date.we did not run this vehicle hard.it was under warranty the first time we had trouble.in 2013 the vehicle was running at 28,000 miles and quit.it was suggested by ford to clear emission.turbos went out totally at 53,000 miles cost of $6700. Then at another 900 miles at 53900 it stopped again.the vehicle spent 2 and a half months in the shop before it would run again.they said the pipe before turbos burnt from inside making turbos quit.we got it out our cost $2300. They wrote off $2500 they said.next day the radiator was cracked on the seam.of course it wasn't the shops fault.so that was another $2000. The ford company that fixed it said we should have ran it hard that then we wouldn't have had as many problems.it has 54000 and no ford dealer even wants a truck made on their lot before 2010.so you know they should have some recalls.they won't stand behind anything!!

While driving, the rear and side doors will pop. It doesn't matter if they're locked or unlocked. They do not come open just come loose. Very worry some. I do home child care. I also have 7 children of my own.

The side back doors to my ford e350 12 passenger van keep popping loose while driving. It happens in all driving conditions, whether on the highway or in urban areas. It occurs on a daily basis about every 15-20 miles. I have to pull over to the side of the road and open both doors and re-close. Locking the doors does not help. I have been to the dealership 4 times for this issue and the problem still exists. The dealership has adjusted the doors and oiledthe hinges and latches.

There is a loud "popping" noise when the braking of the van comes to a complete stop. Sometimes i am afraid the van is not going to stop all the way. From what i am reading online, it may be under previous recall for the brake system.i have no idea how to go about getting recall information, etc. To have a ford dealership fix this problem.

Checked driver's side brake pad for noise. Found broken pin/bolt. There had been no previous work done on this.appears to be fatigue. As a result, the caliper assembly was able to swing back away from the rotor.

Was driving normally when the abs and traction control lights came on and alarm started chiming. When i pulled over to stop the abs kicked in and my stopping distance greatly increased. I had the van towed to a mechanic where he discovered corrosion in three abs speed sensors. A tsb (technical service bulletin) confirmed this to be an issue only on this year and model van. Moisture is getting into these sensors and without warning it is causing normal braking failure.

The steering on this van is very "loose" causing it to wander and require constant correction at all speeds.at normal highway speeds, hitting any bumps causes the back of the vehicle to skip or shift requiring significant steering correction and causing the vehicle to be very unstable.mechanical inspection reveals no failure with any parts.(shame on ford for this vehicle)

I was driving on i215 in salt lake city utah at 65mph when i hit a small bump in the road and the front end of the truck began shaking violently and i could not regain control before it ran me off the road into a ditch narrowly missing a concrete barrier and another vehicle.there was no impact, however i am not sure how i kept it from rolling the truck. This has happened to me in three other ford trucks ranging from 2006 to 2008 that i used to drive at work.and now my personal 2008 f350. I hear that they call it the death wobble.i want to know why there is no recall for this.

This is not a failure or a malfunction but a complaint about the steering play in the 2008 ford e350 vans which is a result of the design of the steering.

Excessive steering wheel play.

The contact owns a 2008 ford f-350. The contact stated that while traveling 75 mph, the power steering assist failed.the steering wheel became abnormally stiff and as the contact attempted to move the vehicle to the road shoulder, the brake pedal was depressed and abnormally traveled to the floorboard.the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was told that the lines connected to the steering and braking systems was completed rusted and needed replacing. Excessive sway and dangerous to drive at highway speeds.

There has been no crash to date. The complaint is related to the poor driving performance of 2008 ford f350 12 passenger vans. The steering control is very poor and may cause accidents. There is so much "slop" in the steering that you can feel the vehicle sway back and forth while driving. In some cases, at higher freeway speeds, the van starts to fishtail (like a travel trailer with too much weight in the back). We have asked our local ford dealership to look at the problem, but, the steering is still bad. I have owned many ford vehicles and have never encountered this type of problem before.

I was have problems with the front end of my vehicle, i brought the vehicle to my mechanic to investigate the problems. He inspected the control arms, ball joints and rebalanced the tires. He basically didn't do anything to change the problem. The following day i was driving the van to work and noticed the front end getting worse. I then called into the shop to make another appointment. When i was driving to the mechanic the van steering went and the van became uncontrollable, since i was only a few miles away i managed to get it to the shop. After further investigation by the mechanic he told me that the steering box was bad and indicated it was very unusual for a 2008 with only 60,000 miles. I told him to fix the vehicle and when he went to the parts dealer to pick up a new steering box they indicated they are selling allot of these over the past couple of years. When he remove the steering box from our vehicle for further investigation he noticed that the failure was a fractured mechanical part. Which means it was a catastrophic failure, usually a steer box will get loose due to wearing components and eventually fail...this broke!!! he asked me to check will ford to see if this steering box in 2008 e350 vans is a recall item, which it wasn't. He told me if this failure was at highway speeds it would have resulted in an accident and may have been fatality. I looked for recall information and found nothing, i'm now reaching out via the nhtsa to highlight this issue in hopes that they can alert people and bring it to the attention of the manufacturer. I also wouldn't mind some pay back for the $1,200 bill i received from our mechanic.

This is a 2009 pleasure way excel ts motor home, built by pleasure way industries in canada.this motor home came with hankook, dynapro as tires , so far i have had 3 of these tires blow up on me traveling at about 60 mph, and 2 more bubbling up on the side and inside, but they did not blow since i noticed it and install the spare, one of this last two the bubbling was found when i replaced all four tires with new michelin.the 1st 3 tires were replaced on a prorated order, i having to pay for balancing and mounting. The first 3 tires were replaced with dynapro ht tires which 2 of them failed the same way. (the side wall bubbles inside and out until it blows up.the last two tires have not been approved for replacement by hankook because they want tovisually inspect them so the tires are having to be sent to them by the sears auto center in coral gables, florida.in the mean time i have installed michelin tires, do not trust hankook what so ever.i have photos, invoices, mileage when all these tires failed, which depending on the outcome of this complain i can send them to you since you a limit to upload these items.i believe there is a safety problems with these tire as to be overrated or something, even though one of the tires was on the front on the vehicle, and not subject to weight or pressuresince it had 55 lbs of air pressure and they are rated to 80 lbs.in my safety concern had any on this tires would of have blown on the front, i would probably not be writing this complain, and god only knows what else could of happened.all these tires have failed from05/23/2012 to 04/19/2016 and mileage from 9690 to 17323 miles. Pictured included are only for the 09/16/2015 incident only, i have others if needed including invoices.
