Consumer lives in cold climate. When driving to warmer climate, engine will stall at any speed.once stalled, it will take 1 hour before starting up again.consumer states that the problemis with the ignition module.

Upon starting, noticed smoke coming from under hood, then suddenly engine caught on fire,no prior warning, previously had experienced crackling sound.

I drove my 1992ford e-350 15 passenger van to indiana on friday. I used the cruise control on the highway. I arrived at 5:00 pm. And parked. At about 1 a.m. I moved the vehicle to a flatter area, so i could sleep in it at the campground. Shortly before 4 a.m. I awoke to a smell and saw flames shooting over the windshield, coming from the engine. Luckily i was able to get out of the vehicle, which burned completely in minutes. The local fire department responded. I contacted ford and i am now waiting for a written response. I later learned of the recall on faulty speed deactivation switches. There are no reported recalls on my vinthrough ford.

While driving about 55-60 mph, husband noticed smoke coming from the rear of the van. Driver pulled over, and in less than a minute, the whole front of the van was on fire.fire was put out by the fire department. The van was totalled in the fire. Please provide any further information.

Vehicle has an oil smoking condition that two mechanics stated could not be repaired. Owner was going to takevan to a ford dealership.please describe details.

Saw recall 96i003000 and 3001 on the internet, dealer said there was no recall on our car, serpentine belt tensioners, belt guides and idler pulleys on other vans being replace, we feel there should be a refund coming to us

Vehicle will begin to drive rough if temperature is 98 degrees or higher. Eventually it will stall, causing a safety hazard.dealer cannot isolate defect.also,it cannot be duplicated on premises.

While running on freeways with hot temp, my motorhome with 92 ford e-350 engine stops. This happens in several occasions. The 1st time it happened, the computer box was replaced in montiplier, idaho in 96 but the problem still exist. I cannot run the engine in a prolong period of time during summer because it dies. I went to looked under the left rear side of the engine by the exhaust pipe and there were melted wire insulations. I tried to tacked them away from the exhaust heat but the problem still exist. Another problem is the abs light stays on but the braking was ok. How can i resolve these problems?

Engine failed due to ethenol fuel in fuel pump. *sd

When fuel pressure regulator goes out, it causes the engine to seize.tt

Fuel tank filler pipe vent hose cracked and gas spills when filling up.occupants also smell gas after the fill up.

Van was first taken to ford dealer 11/22/92 haines city ford, haines city fla. For serious vibration problem. Then . I filed legal action against ford 3/21/94ford will not settle becausemy van is missingfrom jim click ford . On 10/13/93/tim stoeh rford's zone rep.said ford does notrecongizeaaa . This is a serious safety problem . Cleo gainsfrom ford would not read aaa report.

Rear axle failure.

This vehicle has 4 leaf springs on each side(a pickup truck suspension) instead of a motorhome suspension which should have 9 springs on each side. There is a technical service bulletin out that covers this "life safety problen" # 95-9-6 (may 95). In my situation i wasaccelerating up a hill and around a bend in the road when we hit a pot hole which caused the severe swaying motion, which made it almost impossible to control. Myself and my family [xxx] near rolled this vehicle down into a ravene. Does someone have to die befor a recall is issued. I only asked the dealer to install the kit that they have for this problem but they want to charge me a thousand dollars to fix what they must have known to be an insuficient leaf spring installation at the time of manufacturing. Jaco, motorhome class c. While traveling at 15 mphtrailor collapsed ontowheels of truck. Consumer was forced to an immediate stop, and could smell rubber burning.took vehicle to dealer, and they stated leaf springs were taken off.please provide any further information.

Bridgestone tires type r273 swp (p225 75 r16) experienced tread separation on several occasions.

After market tire lt225/75r16 size.tread separated at highway speeds on three of the tires. The left rear tire shredded prematurely.after 10,000 miles, the left front tire shredded.again after 10,000 miles the third tire shredded.the tires were purchased from ntw.

Goodyear workhorse right rear tire p2457516 experienced tread separation, also causing damage to right rear quarter panel.

Michelin roadhandler sport left rear tire, isze p185/70r13, dot hhfmwkp07, had tread separation and a bubble, tire only had 18000 miles on it.

Cruise control would not disengage at approx. 70 mph when driving on the freeway. I was able to reduce the speed by pumping the brakes although each time i removed my foot from the brake pedal the van continued to accelerate out of control.after approx. 15 minutesand a very fearful ride, i was able to exit the freeway and bring the van to a stop in a large parking lot. I was only able to do so by applying extreme pressure to the brakes and praying that they would not fail.i quickly turned off the ignitionand put the van in park.i had the van towed to shamrock ford in dublin, ca. Even though i was past the 5 yr. Extended warantee, with the low mileage i contacted ford customer service requesting this be replaced by ford at no cost to me. I considered thisfailure of equipment a major safety issue. Ford told me there was nothing they could do for me and the repair would by my resposibility.

The contact owns a 1992 ford e350.the contact received a recall notice for the vehicle speed control (nhtsa campaign id number 07v336000) in august of 2007.the dealer stated that the parts should be available at the end of first quarter.as of january 2, 2008, the dealer had not repaired the vehicle.the contact felt that the wait time for the recall repair is unacceptable.there had been no failure to date.the current mileage was 100,000.updated 01-29-08.

The contact owns a 1992 ford e350.the contact received a recall notice in august of 2007 for the vehicle speed control: cruise control.he immediately scheduled an appointment to have the vehicle repaired.the dealer placed him on a waiting list for the parts and stated that they should have arrived in december of 2007.he called the dealer and they stated that the parts were unavailable and advised him to have the switch disconnected.the closet dealer that would disconnect the switch is approximately 2.5 hours away, but they did not know when the parts would be available either.he is in the process of having the switch disconnected.there had been no failure to date.the powertrain and recall number were unknown.the current mileage was 70,000.

Recall on cruise control on my motor home dating back to 1992-2004. My recall notice states the vehicle can catch fire sitting in my driveway or driving. I have called several dealers in my area and was told ford motor co. Will not supply the dealers with part # 05s28.

The ambulance was parked and the passengers compartment caught on fire it was from the heater control system .tt
