The pcm at 34,000 miles caused two fuel pumps to burn out in 4 days. A "wrench" warning symbol appeared on the dash and the vans engine dies while going at high speed (we pull a pressure washing trailer holding with hazardous chemicals & water). If it was raining or even heavy traffic this could cause a dangerous life threatening crash. On wet roads these heavy commercial vehicles can easily hydro-plain when this occurs putting the driver & others in danger who may be in the path. We are now without our service van for 2 weeks & ford estimated in the excess of $2600 in repairs on a vehicle with just 34,000 miles on the van.we just replaced the transmission 3 months ago. My step father is 84 years old who owns this vehicle and he is a retired navy captain of over 25 years. He and i are both concerned that this vehicle is too dangerous to drive at high speeds (60-70mph) with the loads we carry in our every day service schedule. Ford seems to offer no assistance financially and no comfort in resolving the safety issues resulting in the failure of the pcm (power train control module) which is obviously very dangerous when large commercial vehicles have the engine failing or dying at high speeds. After reading about the throttle body problems that ford experiencing with over 1,600,000 vehicles being recalled, it seems that the same warning symbol of the two sided wrench appears on the dash and the same engine failing occurs at high speeds. The service mechanic at big star ford in manvel tx. Told me he replaced the first fuel pump, drove it on the hwy and had to tow it back to the dealer because it died while test driving the van and burned out the new fuel pump he just installed, then he said he put a new fuel pump in again and used that to diagnose that the pcm was the problem while running it on idle for an hour. We are now concerned this new pump is damaged.

The contact owns a 2011 ford e-250. The contact stated that the engine warning indicator was constantly illuminated. The dealer stated that the urea pump was contaminated and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 36,606. Jcc

A short while after owning the vehicle, the brake light bulbs burnt out.i've had to replace all the brake light bulbs approximately every 3 months or so.after a few bulb replacements i noticed the sockets that hold the bulb starting to look burnt.now all the sockets in the rear of the vehicle are to the point where they are completely "fried" and melted needing replaced.

The contact owns a 2011 ford e-250. The contact was driving 72 mph when the contact experienced a steering failure in which the steering wheel became extremely difficult to maneuver.the vehicle was taken to the dealer four times where the dealer advised that the failure was a result of the ball joint not being properly broken in during use. The dealer offered numerous remedies but none resolved the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 347 and the current mileage was 2,800.updated 09/15/11 updated 12/19/11

The interior grab handle is used to climb into the truck. Due to a weak design the handle breaks causing the potential for a person to fall backwards and seriously injuring themselves.

Last week i received notice from michelin north america that my claim i presented in writing on may 18 had been denied. I filed the claim because i had my warranty tire exploded on my cargo van resulting in about $5000. In damages. Michelin representative ritch townsend says that i at some point i hit something splitting the inner liner that over time caused the tread detachment. This did not happen! i am the only person that has drove this van with just 33,000. Miles.area attorney's with defective tire litigation experience are personal "injury attorney's". No injury; no interest!this large tire manufacturer will not take responsibility for their defective tire until they are forced under judgement and then likely only after people have lost their lives!on 05/10/16 i was southbound in clearwater fl on hwy 19 when i heard a sudden explosion. Being in the furthermost right driving lane i pulled off onto the emergency lane at 12600 hwy 19. I found that the right rear tire had completely come apart and had badly beaten the rear panel of my van. After putting the spare tire on and getting back home i contacted michelin consumer care and was told to take the tire to tire kingdom in dunedin for evaluation. The manager at this store in turn also talked to the michelin representative explaining the tire was under warranty and the tread has detached. An offer was made at that time to replace the tire but i would have to leave the tire; my evidence of the cause of the vehicle damage. I declined the offer electing for the michelin claims process.as requested i sent the defective tire to michelin for a non-destructive test of the tire and requested that the tire be returned to me after inspection and i have since received the tire back in dunedin. I am convinced this tire tells a tale that will go unnoticed because nobody lost their life yet.
