The consumer's vehicle rear ended another vehicle when the abs locked while trying to stop, the consumer believes the abs never pulsated and resulted in an accident, althought the drivers side of the vehicle sustained major damage only the passenger side air bag deployed.

Consumer was travling at 46 mph when they were involved in a rear end collision. Air bag ondriver's side did not deploy,butpassenger's side air bag did deploy. Has not contacted manufacturer.

In a frontal collision at a high speed none of the air bags deployed on impact.consumer was injured.

Consumers vehicle was involved in a frontal crash while traveling approximately 45 to 50 mph, upon impact frontal air bags failed to deploy, shoulder belt failed to restrain driver, driver experienced muscle pains in neck/shoulder, and back areas, insurance company concluded the air bag should have deployed.consumer stated manufacturer and dealer are not willing to assist in finding out why the restraint system failed, consumer stated the passenger side airbag did deploy, however the driver side did not.

Per local ford dealer, not under recall status.speed at point of braking was 46 at time of impact about 16.5 mph.

Consumer was in an accident due to brakes locking up, in the accident the driver side air bag experienced no deployment.

While traveling between 10 to 20 mph vehicle was driven off the road, andfront ofvehicle struck a tree, causing damage tofront end and frame. Passengers air bag deployed, but drivers air bag failed to deploy.no determination has been made as to the reason for this failure.

When at a traffic light stopped and the air conditioning is on high the turn signals periodically rapidly flash. The audible clicking of the turn signals clicks fast as well. The bulbs are not blown. It happens randomly or it does happen.

While driving the car, i lost power and had to pull over, upon checking under the hood, we came to the conclusion that the intake manifold (which is plastic) got to hot which caused antifreeze to leak out. I ended up having to have it towed to my house which is where it has set since.

This happens at any speed:while driving down the road it will shut off numerous times, you have to let it sit for a few minutes and then start it back up, this will happen numerous times while driving it.also, if you don't drive it for 2 days, it will run the battery dead.

Ford has issued ssm #15158, but you have to have a failure before you can fix. This is a problem with a fleet of police cars. We need to fix the problem up front.

There was a crack in the intake manifold, which caused anti-freeze to leak.consumer was told that the intake manifold's plastic water jacket failedhe was also told that the recall for this condition only covered police vehicles.

Car was purchased 9/10/01.first problem occurred in april 2002.car has an intermittent miss.dealership could not find problem.in august 2002 car began shutting down while driving. Rotary switch has several functions for operatinginterior lights and headlights. Consumer discovered that while driving with headlights on and pushingswitch in to turn the interior lights on,headlights went off.no information concerning this is mentioned inowner manual.

The contact owns a 2001 ford crown victoria.the contact stated that he worked for a company that had six crown victorias and one ford mustang.the gasket had to be replaced on the fuel tank from the filler pipe.when he filled the vehicle with gasoline, fuel would leak out on top of the hot exhaust.the contact noticed a trend and the company replaced the gaskets on seven vehicles.he is currently waiting for the part for the seventh vehicle, which is on backorder at every dealer in atlanta.he has not consulted the manufacturer.the current mileage was 120,457 and failure mileage was approximately 120,000.

We are concerned to drive our crown vic because of the alleged fuel tank problems.we live in phoenix, az, and in the past three years four police officers have been either killed or severly injured due to collisions that resulted in the fuel tank catching fire.we would like to know what ford motor co. Plans to do about this.is our crown vic safe to drive?if not, what do we need to do? if we retrofit the gas tank right now, we will void our warrenty.we are in a quandry as to what to do.

The brake booster failed causing squeaking noise when the pedal is applied, the connection had come loose on the right rear wheel causing the abs and traction control lights to illuminate.nlm

Front passenger seat belt retention device would not release resulting in squeezing of child wrapped up in seat belt. The seat belt had to be cut with a knife to get child out of seat belt. Even with the buckle unlatched. No medical treatment was necessary but, child was severely traumatized as the seat belt was squeezing her so tight that the adults trying to free her could barely get a finger between her and the seat belt.

On 2001, ford made the seat belt anchor actually a part of the seat. Normally the achor comes from the side of the seat,now it comes out of the seat. The change has caused a loss of space for larger individuals, especially police officers. The belt achor ends up coming behing the gun holster, making it impossible to buckle the seat belt.

While pulling into a parking lot the car accelerated and i missed a parked car and was able to stop. I was going about 5mph and it accelerated very fast not sure mph but it was scary. I happened sept. 14, 2011.

Dt: contact statedwhile starting the vehicle it revved.when placing the vehicle into drive it did thisalmost causing an accident.the service dealer did some repairs to the vehicle, but it did not remedy the problem.at first it would do this when the vehicle was cold, but the service dealer replaced an iac valve. Currrently it does it when the vehicle is hot or cold.

The contact owns a 2001 ford crown victoria.the contact received a ford recall notice for the vehicle speed control: cruise control in october of 2007 and immediately called the dealer.the dealer informed him that they did not know when the parts would be available; however, they deactivated his wiring harness.he received a new notice in march of 2008 stating that the parts were available.he contacted the dealer and they stated that he would have to personally order the parts if he wanted his vehicle repaired.there had been no failure to date.the recall number was unknown.the current mileage was 95,650. Windshield wipers failed while driving in inclement weather.the wiper failure resulted in reduced visibility.the vehicle has been taken to the dealer three times but they have been unable to alleviate the problem.the consumer request reimbursement for the cost of the vehicle.
