The rear driver's side seat belt buckles locked up on a 4-year old. The belt had to be cut off. Ford refuses to do anything.

The drivers side seatbelt will not retract and will not restrain in an accident. Please describe.tt

The driver side seat keeps repeatedly breaking.i am not a large person i do not weigh a lot and i am not rough or clumsy so i do notunderstand why the seat keeps beaking.i have injured my back and neck on several ocassions because this problem has happened so frequently that i am now hoping that a new seat may fair better.i should not have this problem and it happenes with such regularity that i am certain that there are many other bronco owners that are experiencing the same reocurring problems with their seats.this can bea potentially serious defect in the seat's system.all it takes is for the seat to go off its track, come loose, or snap back while driving and their will be a very serious accident and i am sure this has already occurred.

Abs brake problems; when applying the brakes in regular traffic conditions, under normal braking, the pedal fades. The abs warning light is on, and driver is not able to reset. Driver swerved, vehicle rolled over.

During a cross country trip we experienced severe tire blow out on our left rear tire at 65 mph on georgia highway 70 outside dalton ga.the blow our cause our '90 ford bronco ii to go off the highway and roll 8 times travelling a total of 250 feet.my husband was the passenger and was hospitalized after we came to a stop after colliding with a large pine tree.my 3 year old daughter and i were not hospitalized.we were all wearing our seat belts.visual inspection of the tire shows the tread completely seperated from the tire which was still under warranty.contact with the seller of the tire got no answer except to send the tire back to cooper tire.we live in chicago il and the wrecked car and tire are in dalton georgia so this is not feasable.hospital bills and the loss of our only vehical has put a tremendous strain on our finances and a trip to georgia to reclaim the tire and vehicle are not possible. While driving on i-35 near norman oklahoma in my recently acquired 1990, ford bronco ii, the tread on my right front tire completely seperated .the incident came completely unexpected, with no prior warning whatsoever.fortunately, i was only driving 60 mph, and was able to keep the vehicle under control.however, the seperated tire tread put a significant dent in the right front quarter panel before i was able to stop the vehicle.this tire had good, thick tread, and because it was not one of the types in firestone's recent recall, i believed it to be safe.because i bought this vehicle used, i do not have receipts for the two front matching firestone tires on the vehicle. I took the tire to a firestone dealer here in norman, and the manager simply insisted that i must have hit something in the road or that the tire was underinflated.....i attest most certainly that neither was the case.to be honest, i am mostly just happy that i didn'thave an accident as a result of this tire failure. However, i think your organization should take this as evidence that firestone's recall should definately be broadened.it simply baffels me that this companies products contnue to put peoples lives in jeopardy, and yet they refuse to act truly responsibly and recall all the faulty tires.i have retained both tires as well as photos of the tires and the damage to my vehicle.( dot number: w2ul1ml489 tire size: p205/75r15 )

Firestone tire experienced tread separation causing vehicle to rollover, consumer sustained injuries from accident.

(1)accelerator sticks when pressed to the floor merging into main traffic flow.two occurrences with original part (est. 121000/123000 mileage) and one occurrence after replacement (est. 124500 mileage).(2) large chips of paint (approx. 6"x4") peel off during high winds and/or driving speed up to 65mph.

The driver side door mirror flops down is unusable when driving on the highway. This occurs above 55 mph. I am concerned this might cause an accident because you have to look behind you and take your eyes of the road to see if it is clear to change lanes. This is the second driver door mirror that i have purchased for this vehicle. I replaced the passenger and the driver side door mirrors on 1/31/98.
