2013 fleetwood storm. Consumer is worried about the safety of his motor home and has tried to resolve the issue. *tathe consumer stated the driver and passenger side window curtains disconnected by themselves from the hold back hooks when the windows were opened and blew forward which blocked his side vision and the rear view mirrors.also, the consumer discovered the hydraulic jack was rusted and the shaft was pitted, when he attempted to use it. The consumer was informed it was defective and it would be replaced.
There appears to be a manufacturing defect in material or workmanship that has caused the following structural/system failures from normal operation:1)passenger side cockpit flooring has separated from the coach frame starting from the front of the coach and continuing along the entire length of the cockpit and possibly beyond to under the dinette seating area.the separation is visible from underneath the motor home as well as from the cockpit passenger seating area where the road is visible while driving. 2)the dashboard has detached from the frame.the dashboard floats' up and down while driving, presumably as a result of the floor separation issue noted above. The movement of the dashboard is predominately on the passenger side but is also evident on the driver side.3)the passenger side magazine rack/shelf/cup holder unit has completely separated from the wall of the coach, presumably as a result of the floor separation issue noted above.4) the cabinet unit above the dinette seating areas of the coach is separating from the wall/frame of the coach.5)the dashboard safety video camera image during turn, back-up or static operation does not work correctly.the picture continually rolls, dims in contrast and/or turns off for extended periods of time.6)the kitchen counter top to the right of the sink has separately from the wall and from the back-splash above the counter.the bottom right side of the counter cabinet unit has separated from the slide-out base. Motor home can not be driven without significant risk of injury or death to occupants. Updated 2/12/14

I purchased my motor home from lazy days in march of 2013 in tampaflorida . While drivinghome i noticed that the windshield was making a whistling noise. I called the fleetwood dealer the flowing day at which time they advised me to take it to jim's marina in nichols, ny. I took my motorhome down on 8-22-13 for the windshield to be replaced. I picked it up a week later.upon getting it home i started cleaning it and realized that the windshield was cracked again and the seal around the window was not properly installed. I was advised again to take it back to jim'smarina. I dropped it off on 9-23-2013, picked it up2 weekslater and again the same thing with the windshield.i was told for the 3rd time to take it back to jim's marina. I dropped it off on 10-12-2013, picked it up 2 weeks later and basically parked it for the winter. Upon taking a trip in the motorhome in may, i was getting gas and decided to clean the windshield. Upon looking up, you could see a crack in the windshield along the tint. Again i called the fleetwood agent at which time i was advised that someone would get back with me. When the fleetwood agentcalled me back i was advised to take it to cicero, ny. I dropped it off on 06-16-2013 at burdick cars & rv. I am still waiting to hear back from the agent at this time.
