On or about may 30 2008 i experienced my right front brakes locking up on my 2004 fleetwood southwind 32vs motor home.i had the motorhome repaired at a garage in franklin texas. I was sent there by my good sams membership.the cost of the repairs was a total amount of $1025.30 of which good sams paid $153.16. I have a copy of the safety recall letter here and have contacted workhorse about any reimbursement's have sent in all the necessary paperwork they have asked for but am told there is a back log of complaints and mine would be handled in the order it was received by a ms angelique thomas in customer relations. On my way home from limestone texas around labor day2009 the left front brake caliper locked up ,brake pedal was soft and went to the floor, abs light came on and upon looking at the brake caliper from the outside it was glowing red from the heat, same as the right side did previously.ms thomas has informed me there is no recall yet and any repairs done by a authorized dealer would have to be approved for payment. My motorhome has been sitting in my drive since sept 2009 and i have received no notification from anyone as to when and if a recall is going to happen or will i have to pay another thousand dollars and fight with workhorse over reimbursement. I did not elect to keep the parts from the right side since i knew nothing at that time about a pending recall. I would appreciate being kept in the loop as to any notice about getting my problem resolved at the lowest cost to me and to a possible reimbursement for my past expenses in a reasonable amount of time.thank you mr. The seals in the dual pane windows a failing and letting air in causing them to discolor and are to see out of. A cloud or discoloration is inside the panes. Fleetwood says out of warranty, order all new windows or have a glass co. Look at them. Glass co. Says nothing can be done except to replace. They also said vin#dual paine windows should have a 10 yr. Warranty and should last 20 yrs. Or more. The windows are all in the front of the motor home 2 on the passenger side and 2 on the drivers side. The passenger side windows are needed to see out of to my right for oncoming traffic. The discoloration is getting worse week by week. The computer would not accept my vin # .
I am trying to find information on my segi windows. I have a 2004 fleetwood southwind 32vs. All my dual pane windows are clouding up to the extent that it is becoming a safety issue. The passenger side windows are impossible to see out of if sunlight is hitting on them which limits the use of my right rear view mirror. The two large windows in the coach living area have also started to cloud to the extent that it is almost impossible to see out of them. I contacted fleetwood and was told very quickly sorry but you are out of warranty. I have been trying to get this complaint resolved for almost 3 years now with fleetwood but they will not talk to me. I filed a complaint through highways magazine after reading a article about the same year, make and model as mine and fleetwood agreed to share the cost with the owner but was sorry to inform me my 2004 was out of warranty,i do not know the difference between my 2004 and theirs. As far as safety this problem is growing to the point as i cannot see out of my windows in the forward section of the coach. Has there been any other complaints? segi will not even let a person who is not a dealer call them, which i seem unreasonable.
All dual pane windows are fogged up. Can not see out of passenger side window when sunlight is directly on it. Drivers window also fogged up and very difficult to see through. All other windows in living area also beginning to fog up.
