On april 24, 2007me and my son went to susquehanna rv to finalize the 2006 3102bhs travel trailer it cost over $21,000. I paid over $6,000 cash ,and the restwas financed with union national bank.it was delivered on may 9, 2007. My daughter got on it an hour it was delivered and it cracked and broke, she weighed185 pounds.a representativefrom fleetwwod said maybe she got on it wrongly, she made so many excuses. My daughter has to sleep on an air mattress next to the other daughter on the bottom bunk. The top bunk is used for their clothes, its not safe for anything else. I want to see the evidence that they are hiding with the bunk bed weight limit. My daughter could of gotten hurt or killed if that bed didn't make a cracking noise when it did. Fix or not. My daughters will never climb on that top bunk again. I want what i was looking for when i went to susquehanna rv and that was a travel trailer safe for 4 or 5 adults, not 2 adults and 2 kids under 150 pounds. The sticker sold me, that it was a great weight limit for my family. But i was wrong. I want a replacement queen size beds on both ends. A fleetwood prowler 39'. This model number [xxx] could definitely fit in a recall. Fleetwood should be liable for a lawsuit for this camper to be sold with a fraud weight limit.the bottom line is that it was misrepresented, false advertisement or i would of went with 2 queen beds. Its all lies and fraud. My replacement is something suitable for my familyand compensation for all the nonsense they put us through. The vin no. [xxx] [xxx]my daughter went down there today, and theres still a 500 pound weight sticker limit on the same identical trailer. These need to be recalled. I want to write more but theres no room.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6)
The contact owns a 2006 fleetwood prowler.while driving 60 mph, the trailer began to fishtail uncontrollably.the contact noticed that the cross members detached from the trailer.the dealer stated that the rivets detached from the frame, which caused the cross members to fail.as of june 22, 2007, the trailer has not been repaired.no other vehicle information would apply since the trailer does not have an engine.
The contact owns a 2006 fleetwood prowler travel trailer. While operating the trailer, the contact's brand new tires began rubbing against the wheel well. The contact believed that the front axle was not stable and limited the speed to 50 mph. As a result, the front passenger tire blew out and almost caused a crash. The contact was able to brake and safely pull the vehicle off the road. The contact tried to call the manufacturer and found out that the company was out of business. The company that took its place was contact and stated that nothing could be done; therefore, the contact would be responsible for the repair costs. The travel trailer was purchased at camping world of lubbock (1701 s loop 289, lubbock, tx 79423, (888) 414-7713). The contact had purchased a weight distribution system including a sway bar from the dealer and both of those items worked fine. The contact suspected the axle was defective. The vin was unknown. There was no mileage.
